DirectX / 3d problem acceleration

Hello.

I just installed the 64-bit Windows 7 RC and it works without problems. But when I tried to run the Command & Conquer: Tiberium wars, I've faced the following error (roughly speaking, quoting from memory, but you get the idea. If all goes well...) : "cannot detect Directx 9.0. Please make sure that you have installed. I had a similar problem with Neverwinter Nights 2. The error message was (even once about) "could not detect hardware acceleration.

I installed the latest drivers (Catalyst 9.5 for Windows 7 64-bit) and information system shows material correctly and in dxdiag, my version of directx is DX 11. I have two 4850 s ATI HD crossfirex. If everything seems to be fine.

I also tried to run in administrator mode and compatibility mode (does not solve the problem).

If no additional information is required I'll provide (I'll have the exact error messages later today). Later today, I will try to reinstall the drivers and see if that helps.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

  • Offset of DirectX 10 problem mouse

Hi, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edition. I have an Intel i7 940, 12 GB of ram and a 250 of nvdidia graphics card. My problem with DirectX 10 games running. When I run a game like Crysis for example. my mouse is actually down and to the right of the where the cursor indicates that it is. Thus, for example, if I want to select the first item in a menu, I need to get my mouse down about an inch and a half inch to the right of the menu button. If I play in mode resolution 800 x 600, then my cursor and the actual location of my mouse are synchronized. If I play at a higher resolution then the lag gradually gets worse until I can choose is more options on the screen. If I start the game in DirectX 9, the problem of the mouse will not occur. If I tell windows to set my Visual settings to "best performance" then everything works normally even in DirectX 10. I understand that aero or transparency is what is confusing things, but is there an any fix for this? I'd really rather not change my windows settings each time I want to play a DX10 game.

    Hello

Perform the two methods listed below and check if that helps get the pointer of the mouse in sync.

    Method 1.
Try to synchronize the computer with the resolutionof the game resolution. It should solve the problem. For example, if you are gambling 1078 * 768 change the resolution of the computer to the same and check.
    Method 2.
    Change hardware acceleration
You can also try to change the acceperation of material in the middle and check (you can try different)
    1. right click on an empty space on the desktop.
    2. go in the resolution of the screen.
    3. click on advanced settings, then click on the tab "troubleshooting."
    4. set the hardware acceleration in the middle. (here you will get the option only if your video card supports).

    I hope this helps.

You must have compatible video card AGP for this. Was not supported either your video card or your video drivers don't support this mode. Try updating the video card drivers.

  • DirectX 11 problems when you try to play some computer games - need to replace it with an older version?

    Running Win7 x 64 home.

I have multiple problems of game about Dx11.
EverQuest Games Inc., World of Warcraft, Doom3, Farcry, Alien Vs Predator 2 (former), Counterstrike and a crowd of older games!
I read the other messages and responses (those who responded, I noticed a large number of messages without response on this topic too)
All the responses suggest that it is a hardware problem or win7 compatibility... This isn't the case, I know exactly what the question! its Dx11 causing these problems!
With respect, that I don't have 20 questions about what errors im getting, im of hardware running, which grows with the im... They ALL find out 100%, all I want to do is go back to an older version of directx 9 c preference!
I know that this is the problem I checked the logs of the accident and took notes, errors, and they are the same for the same problem, I got on a Vista machine, which resolved when I restored to before the service pack!
I tried to use the web installer in accordance with another similar position and it will not be installed because I get the message "you have a newer version already installed etc.."
I also tried to change the compatibility to the game settings but this obviously does not work either because he still uses Dx11.

  • DirectX 11 problem

I've always had problems with DirectX 11 when playing games (Crysis 2, ACIII) and have always used DX9 or 10 (which works fine).  I ran the benchmark Heaven and produced the two images at the end.  Do you have any idea what it would cause (or even what I would call the question so I can look for it online)?

The question is interlaced squares (like a checkerboard) of the normal scene and black.  Dark jitters autour squares 'bad '.  At first I thought it might be a matter of shader because places were evenly distributed throughout the entire viewing area, but maybe his problem with textures as the various elements of the scene are not the problem.

lol - I do not visit the ATI forum much immediately. I am only using an ATI card for three months.
Especially here and Nvidia. Just a coincidence that I stopped there earlier.
Jose my first ATI card in about six/seven years (HD7970). I went to Nvidia after a borked 1950XT, but not only because of this. More that Nvidia had the good card at the right price at the time.
I was going to get a 5850 on a new machine + two years back, but when I was shopping there was a shortage of big two mfg gpu so I had to settle on the least - GTX260.
This machine - Phenom II 965, now has a GTX560ti.

"I'll have to spring for a new card."
With the games you are looking to play in my opinion - Yes.
Not necessarily because of pixelation.  I don't think that that should normally be the case
just because of the additional constraint of the use of DX11, but due to the overall requirements of the games
you play, assuming you like max eye candy.
5850 ability to use DX11 would not always result in the ability to push everything,
and the latest maps are a good step upward. Use less energy and create less heat too.

Apparently, you can get the new key Bioshock and 3 Crysis with ATI and Nvidia more in the USA.
No luck here in the 'chance', no, (Oz) - low countries!

  • DirectX 11 problems, please Help! :)

    Hey there,

So I bought Total War: Shogun 2 on steam and downloaded the game... When I try to play the game I get the 'First time Installation' habit that steam works for any game, but when it comes to "installation of directx for windows" it crashed my laptop. After a hard reset it now always said the same thing when I try to run the game. When I run the install, but press cancel, it will pick up my system. When I go out to start the installation, it will sit for 5-10 minutes before closing the window itself, until the installation is complete. I tried using the web installer so the update of directx 11, both directions manual extraction method lead me to the message "internal error." I'll post the Directx and DXError logs at the end. I know for a fact Shogun 2 will support directx 11 as I played the game earlier on this laptop, but I ended up doing a restore of the system on my system. This becomes increasingly more aggravating that I'm trying to fix it and none of the forum posts I found here or elsewhere on the web helped me, so im hoping that someone who reads this can. Errors in the log file are as follows:

    Thanks in advance,

My understanding is Total War: Shogun 2 need a patch to run DX11, then you have to get the game installed first.

I would first uninstall the game, or that the installation had apparently not finished, delete all files that have been installed, including those that may be in your - user-folders My Documents or User\ App Data (it may not be here if the game has finished installing).

To have to do a hard reset can often cause problems if you do not restart from the menu start after Windows loads again. Restart via the start menu is recommended after uninstall or make changes to the system in all cases.

Once the game is completely uninstalled to run the Web Direct X installation program or, as there may be a corrupted the DX file, run the Direct X Redistrubitable (June 2010) again because this will overwrite all of the Direct X files (Web Installer does not overwrite existing files). If there is still a problem safe mode installation-
Press F8 (with most systems) during startup to access boot options.
While you mentioned using the two options of installation/update DX I'll let links anyway, for others
    who can read it.

    Download details: DirectX end-user performance

Download details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX Redist (June 2010)

Once the DX is sorted reinstall the game, but if it gives an option to install DX
do not let the game to install DX-
The error mentions a specific file - "D3DX9_37_x86.inf: [x64_install]." The file may be damaged. »
Assuming that it is in the installer of the DX of games, it seems that the installer is corrupt (or the disc is scratched, etc.), so if you cannot stop the game to try to install DirectX you are between a rock...

  • DirectX 11 problem: Need to your registry entries.

    Hey guys,.

I made a small mistake and delete the registry for DirectX 11 for Windows 7 keys.

Can you please go to (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-> SOFTWARE-> Microsoft-> DirectX).

And tell me the names of each key and values... etc... So I can recreate mine.

    Thank you very much!

It's the registry key exported, I hope that it will be suitable for you:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX]

  • Reinstalling DirectX 9 problem

    Hello

Im trying to reinstall DirectX 9. When I run the Setup it says: installation of DirectX has determined that a more recent or equivalent DirectX version has already been installed. No installation is necessary.
I tried to install DirectX 11, but my graphics card is not competable with him. is affecting the installation?
    Help, please.

DirectX Setup has found that a more recent or equivalent DirectX version has already been installed. No installation is necessary.

Practically, this answers it, which means you do not need to install DirectX 9 and you must have a graphics card capable of supporting DirectX 11.

I recently saw my direct3d acceleration did not beside him, prevents me from playing games like the sims2 and so on. I wonder if someone could help, I need a new graphics card?

It is old DirectX which has no version value in the registry.
This is why the installation fails, it's in your paper.

DirectX is in SP2, if you uninstall SP2 and reinstall SP2 this should work. The thing is that you need to uninstall SP3 first.

Should uninstall all updates installed after SP3 first and all the updates between SP2 and SP3 (if they have not already deleted when installing SP3) as indicated in Microsoft updates are uninstalled in the reverse order in which they were installed.

This info is for XP, Vista is the same process.

    You can change the registry:

    http://www.prasannatech.NET/2009/01/DirectX-installation-problem-soultion.html

    You can download from Microsoft:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=2da43d38-DB71-4C1B-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

If you save the file first on your computer then run it should work, however if it installs it will not display the version since this info was missing in your old version.

Or you can try the DirectX 10 here: http://directx10.net/

  • Impossible to find graphics drivers

Hi I have recently installed windows & 64 bit on my laptop HP pavilion m6 and when I go into Device Manager it tells me that there is an adapter to standard VGA graphics display cards tab. Now, if I understood, this means that the graphics card has not been identified and I can't seem to find the correct drivers. I need this driver because acceleration of circulation of Directx and Direct3D acceleration is not available I have to activate and I thought that the pilots were the problem. Incidentally, I know for a fact that my graphics card can run Directx 11 and its features as the draw of Directx acceleration and Direct3D acceleration

Did you happen to be holding down the -key so that you type the Windows version? & 64-bit Windows is Windows 7 64-bit?

I don't care. The M6 series - HP Pavilion Notebook comes with a number of possible video cards, depending on the specific model number (for example 28 models M6-1002xx to M6 - 1188ca). You can start your search for a suitable 64-bit driver and software package utility here.

Tip: model number should be on the label of the product to the rear of the unit, but it is perhaps in the battery compartment (tofind the model number of your HP product).

  • Problems of DirectX running Win7 via Bootcamp on Macbook Pro

    Hello world.

So I installed Win7 64-bit on my Macbook Pro (Intel Dup 2.66 GHz, 4 GB DDR3, NVidia GT 9400 M) using bootcamp eager to play games. I kind of want to go pick up Starcraft 2, but I don't want to buy a mac version of a game as much as I could get a PC of office within the next year some time.

Anyway, so when I run the games, usually they are simply launching without saying anything or it will give me some message about Direct3D. Then, when I go in the DirectX diagnostic tool, it lists acceleration DirectDraw, Direct3D and TGP of texture as 'not available '. I checked and made sure the hardware acceleration has been at the highest level, who he was.

Then, I went online to see what others were doing, and I found in a few places where people were installing DirectX 9.0 with DirectX 11 coming with Win7. I tried to install it and I get the following error message:

"Internal error System. Please refer to DXerror.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder. »

From there I wanted to just post a few places and see if someone else has fallen on these issues running Win7 on a mac, or something like that. I know that these laptops are supposed to run games on bootcamp pretty well, but I can't seem to overcome this problem. Looking for a next step.

    Thanks for reading.

I would check to make sure you have your video drivers properly installed also.

On the note of StarCraft 2, there is no separate versions.  As more cross-platform games nowadays they are delivered with the binary Windows and Macintosh on the same disk.

    Hello Hunsinger D, welcome.

My suggestion would be to first see if you have the latest version on your ATI drivers.

You can find the latest version of your card here. Its the latest version of 64-bit Windows 7 from the site Web of ATI CCC:

    https://a248.e.Akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ATI.com/drivers/9-6_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_wdm_enu.exe

Once downloaded, run the installer and it should guide you through the installation process, which most will be automatic. It will require a reboot Afterwords.

Depending on the applications you run, they cannot be completely compatible with DirectX 11, which is what Windows 7 is running in native mode. We can try to force apps to run in the mode of DirectX 9/10.

Try this to force the application to run on DirectX 9:

1 find / create a shortcut to the application
    2. right click on the shortcut and select Properties
    3. click on the tab 'Shortened' at the top (if not already done)
    4. in the field "Target", go at the end of the quoted text, put a space and add - dx9

The result should look like that in nature, even if the path in quotes may be different:

    "C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe"-dx9

As long as there is a space between the "" text and - tag dx9 you will be fine.

    5. click on 'Apply' at the bottom and close the window. Now try to start the application.

If please reply back and let us know the results.

  • What does that mean? -This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed.  Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file.  now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
It's the main Intel support page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/945gm

  • DirectX 3D acceleration not available

    Hello!

So, I built a computer in 2012. This worked well at the time, but I have recently moved house and have had the computer implementation in the study for a while and only put in place the other day. I started and activated windows, I installed DirectX 11 and updated all my drivers. But when I run dxdiag it says that acceleration DirectDraw, Direct3D acceleration and AGP Texture acceleration are not available. I have a Standard VGA graphics adapter and a card Intel(r) HD Graphics 4000 charged, both drivers are fully updated and the VGA is the main driver.

So I was wondering if there is anyway to solve this problem.

    -Thanks in advance

I solved the problem, that it turns out that I had some drivers AMD requiring an update, now my computer works fine and all the features of DirectX work.

    -Thank you for your help

    Hello
