OJJ6400_full_13.exe install fail

I'm trying to connect wireless computers to J6480 HP all-in-one printer. To do this, I use the information found here.

The first computer is a PC and pilot plant has been a success. The computer print wireless.

The second computer is a laptop ASUS X53U, Win 7 Home Premium 64 - bit running. I downloaded OJJ6400_full_13.exe and extract the files, but the autorun does not start. So, I went in the temp folder and tried to launch the app via Setup.exe. When I do this, two things happens; either: 1) nothing or 2) the message "do you want to allow this app will change your computer" appears. When I click Yes, nothing happens.

I deleted all the folders and files in the folder %Temp%, since restarted the laptop, then started the process, but I get the same results over and over again.

My firewall is disabled and I followed the instructions perfectly (or so it seems).

What gives?

Hello-

What is the processor in the ASUS computer?

This departure of aprevious post. There is a patch if you have one of the CPU listed in the document.

  • j6410 over wifi is detected but not settled it on Win7 with the new installation of OJJ6400_Full_13.exe

    Dear all,

I try to install my printer all in one HP Officejet J6410 (connected to an access point) wireless to my HP Pavilion dv5-1155eg laptop running Windows 7 Professional (ENG). I am trying to install using the new "HP Officejet Full Feature Software and Driver" (OJJ6400_Full_13.exe) for the specified printer. ""

The rest of the HP software installation succeeded it. I am able to see the web interface of the printer from my browser. In the past, before the release of this new driver I could even print wirelessly, using the base driver provided by Win7.

What fails is the installation of the printer itself:

I use the software to 'Add a device' the HP that successfully locates my printer wireless in the screen "found network printers." I selects the printer, press 'Next', Network Diagnostics seems to run ok and then start the installation of the printer, it is firstly says 'printer detected... ". "but she eventually fails with the message:" printer setup is not complete - click Retry to try install again... blah blah. "

To make richer information, I use a firewall of G Data Internet Security 2010 that I followed him and I can see that it is not blocking anything. I even tried installing with the firewall disabled, anyway...

In addition, I tested my printer with HP Network Diagnostic Utility. The utility comes with all the information correctly (network configuration, configuration of the computer, HP printer running services, found wireless).

Any help is appreciated to make it work because it's a major drawback, as you can understand...

    Thank you in advance...

Thanks for the reply, but that was not the solution... As I mentioned earlier, I had tried in the first place without the firewall installation.

But, I found a good solution to the problem, and because it might be useful to others I write it here:

After the movie with the help of HP without success, I managed to find a workaround for the problem:

    1. I uninstalled everyhting about printer software/drivers & restarted windows.
    2. I installed the begin shape everything (the file I downloaded on the site of HP), using the USB option this time and not a wireless.
    3. RESTART WINDOWS (sucks bigtime - respect for unix/linux "reboot is for material changes!")
    4. After you have installed successfully with the USB cable, I chose the option 'Configure wireless settings' Installer extracted files resulting from the file I downloaded frrm the HP site (if after installation, the installer window is closed you will need to locate the extracted in your Temp folder files or just run the file again..). Just follow the instructions of the installer.
    5. This should make the thing! REBOOT (again) and you're ready to go!
    6. (OPTIONAL) For me, the installer actually worked at the last moment, where he stuck permanently. But that was ok, because it's stuck after you set up the printer and corresponding software. After some time, the installer came out with the usual submit an evaluation form. Just ignore it, reboot and everyhting should work. At least it did for me...

  • Value added package install failed...

Hi, I had a little problem.

But the Setup has copied the files on my "C:\Program Files (x 86) \TOSHIBA" folder, IV ' e got:

... in my Toshiba folder, containing a total of 52, 4 MB. In the utility folder, I try to run "TACSPROP.exe" and says that "the registry is missing or may be broken.

now... I know this problem most likely because I have a modded Vista version, but does anyone have an idea how I can do value-added package running on my system?

I agree with you. You have changed the version of Vista. I imagine that this Department of software Toshiba create each tool and utility for Vista and of course to test it properly.
No free version is not designed to work with the version you are using.

VAP is not editable by anyone and there is nothing you can do. If you use an exotic OS version either it works or not. Sorry but there is nothing you can do with VAP.

    I tried to install LyncVDI.EXE on a t610 with WES7.

I have looged on administrator, disabled the filter entry and I just got a message "installation failed."

    Any hint to someone?

You must ensure that your TEMP folders are not z:\temp.

z:\Temp is a based RAMdrive folder and the RAMdrive is 32 MB by default.

You can use a temporary folder on C: (for example, c:\temp), a network of road; a USB key.

You can temporarily change the folder temp with the following commands in a Command. The EXE window:

If not exist c:\temp\nul mkdir c:\temp

    Set temp = c:\temp

the value of the tmp = c:\temp

    [PathToLyncvdi] \lyncvdi.exe

If you want to use something other than c:\temp, change the commands accordingly.

[PathToLyncVDI] should be replaced with its actual path.

Tell me if it worked for you

  • KB2656353 install fails with error 0 x 643

    Dear Microsoft support community,

    (a) I have Windows XP Professional SP3.  I haven't used this computer
in almost a year, so the first thing I did was to hang the
computer, connect to the Internet and run Microsoft update.
There were 78 updates and 75 of them were installed successfully.
    (b) when I tried to install KB2656353, the installation failed with error
    0 x 643.
    (c) Googling turned up to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982 .
I tried the Microsoft Fix it 50123, but which did not help.
    (d) I repaired then the .NET 4 Client Setup.  No joy.
    (e) I ran the auditor of .NET tool to
       http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

And he noted "the check is successful" for

    .NET 1.1 SP1
    .NET 2.0 SP2
    .NET 3.0 SP2
    .NET 3.5 SP1
    .NET 4 client
    .NET 4 full

    (f) I have concluded that uninstall and then reinstall the whole .NET
framework was not claimed for now, since it does not seem
as indicated in KB 976982 corrupted.

    (g) I checked the registry for .NET 1.1 hotfixes listed issues
    in http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2004/11/23/268934.aspx
in the "Info 9002..." section, but I have not found any.

    (h) I downloaded the update in a separate file,
    NDP1.1sp1 - KB2656353 - X 86 .exe, to http://download.microsoft.com,.
and tried to run as a standalone program, but it stops almost
immediately.  By redirecting the logging to a local file, I find
the update has not been installed, but I do not know how to interpret
the log file, which is much too large to be able to post it here in its entirety.

How can I get this update to install?

"") ""Try reinstalling the program to fix this.").

Any help is very appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    Shalini,

Games DirectX 9 requires DirectX 9 dll. This is a common problem... see games like NeverWinter Nights 2, which cannot be run on Windows 7 unless DirectX9 is installed (even if, Yes, Windows 7 comes with DirectX 11). Mass Effect is one of those games that requires DX9 DLL files, and it does not run.

It seems that the problem had to do with the missing system files... SFC/scannow revealed several missing files that could not be replaced. Most of them appeared related to .net Framework... I think it's maybe because I installed .net 4.0 Beta 2 to try to get the Zune software running. However, I was forced to do a reinstall of Windows 7 to install DirectX 9 (which worked immediately after the new facility). No idea why this could cause problems with the installation of DirectX 9, but that's the best explanation I have right now.

Still, your point is not not possible to install DirectX 9 on Windows 7 is not correct. It is possible and necessary to run some games.

  • USB3 Driver install fails after installing fresh Win7

Today, I did a full 64 fresh install of Windows 7 (using supplied Alienware DVD) of my Alienware Laptop M17xR3.  After finished with updates installed so Win7 Windows7, I went to the web page of Dell Alienware and installed all the recommended drivers.

In my device manager, all components of the system have been scanned and work well except one... my USB controller under other.  Its my USB 3.0

I tried to install this driver recommended several times following...

    NEC USB 3.0, v.2.0.26.0, A00see details
    R289408.exe
The installation fails every time saying: error - 2: the system cannot find the specified file.
    Here's a screenshot:
    My serial number is CW2B5Q1

It is probably just a standard set of drivers NEC and Renesas. Have you tried to manually unzip archive and look inside or run from there?

Have you tried letting Windows load a Windows-Update driver?
