Old calculator model HP33E

Hello, my calculator LED display HP33E finally packed in and I was unable to find a diagram of circuit for the calculator or a part in replacing the screen number.  If anyone could help with any of these 2 possible solutions I would really appreciate it.

Kind regards

Pat

Thans BartdB, it tells you the links I followed up and found the solution at the following link.   The problem was caused by contacts with oxidized or tarnished.  After the opening of the calculator and clean all the contacts and reassemble it worked almost perfectly.   I broke one of the contacts on the card from the pile and replace it today.  However, it works using the AC adapter.    I really appreciate your help.

Kind regards

  • How well El Capitan will run on an old 15 "model of MacBook Pro"Late 2008"

One of my Macs is an old 15 "model of MacBook Pro"late 2008 ". I know that it supports El Capitan, but what I wonder is really run him El Capitan? What interests me is the user experience of real life?

My MacBook Pro is currently under Snow leopard 10.6.8 and it has 8 GB of RAM installed.

I thought maybe I could take an approach gently gently and install El Capitan on a different hard disk, or maybe partition the internal hard drive and install it on one of the partitions? Any thoughts on this approach?

My internal hard drive is a model 1 TB of Seagate hybrid.

    Thank you!

With 8 GB of ram, it will work fine. Install on an external drive or an internal partition is a wise option that you can get rid of it if it does not meet expectations. Be aware that some of your applications can work more like exceeding 10.6.8 Rosetta support has been dropped.

  • Is it possible to use an old one model of printer Dell (wired) with a HP wireless laptop?

I use a HP Pavilion with Windows 7 home laptop. I am connected to a printer wireless (Canon 3-in-1). I have to leave the city and go to my aunt's House in another city. She has no computer configuration at home, but we have wireless router so I can use my laptop.

Can I take my old Dell printer (I used when I had a desktop computer), plug it into my laptop (I guess I should also install printer) & it use it (without him being wireless, etc.?). The ink is still viable, but it's been several months that I used it. I need to know if it would be interesting to take my old printer with me & be able to configure & use it. If so, is it possible to use a laptop (I use it wireless to my aunt) with a wired printer? And it would be difficult to implement?

Result is, I sell stuff on Ebay this week, I have to make an emergency trip to help the family, & will probably have to lug around elements (and print shipping labels) while I'm there. I thought that it would be useful to have long-term (even a former model) printer that I can use while helping the family in another city.

I'm sure I'm leaving out some info but if you think that you need more to answer my question, let me know... Thanks in advance.

If I read this right, you can install your printer cable right now and test it.  Then go on your trip and just plug in the back of your computer and it will work fine.

But just out of curiosity: What utility do you mean exactly?

I have not found utility SSD but only the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert Utility which is usually pre-installed on Toshiba laptops. The TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert includes Assistant functions to monitor the disk status on and perform the backup of the system.
The alert function must function SMART failure to predict which monitors the drive in operating condition. If in case the SSD or HARD disk drive supports SMART failure to predict function, the utility should be able to read

  • LaserJet: Can I force a newer printer to imitate the old Laserjet model?

Try to replace the printer on an instrument of laboratory a few years to find the compatible template.

Printer provided originally is Laserjet 1100.

The system works very well with the Laserjet 1100, I believe with 1320 and other series of 1000, but NOT with the LaserJet 2000 or later.

Is it possible to force a newer printer (for example P2035) to "pretend" that it's the 1100 model?

The 1100 uses only PCL5e; the P2035 has PCL5e as one of its languages, but still does not print correctly.

I believe that the instrument asks the printer port & request "who's there?" and adjusts its output according to the response of the printer; seems he misunderstands P2035 response and other models I've tried like P2014.

No, I can't change the behavior of the instrument or the exit without a VERY expensive change.

Centronics parallel connection, I believe that a parallel-USB adapter would not help.

Test options are very limited due to the location of the instrument in a biological laboratory; If something is happening here that it can exit only by autoclave!

    Any ideas out there?

Frankly I recommend you buy a LaserJet P3015, then go online and buy a parallel EIO port, they are cheap on ebay.

HP EIO parallel port is supported in the P3015, but this just printer model is no longer supported, but it is still available if you go out and get a fairly quicklvy.

Your other option is simply to find a used LaserJet 4000, 4100, or 42 X 0 printer, these models all have a built-in parallel port.

I just discovered the P3015 be be abandoned to randomly talk to someone in sales to the company that I work.

Due to another scenario, I checked the parallel EIO port that made HP is compatible with the P3015.

The parallel port also work in HP P4015, but HP does not guarantee that it does, I saw it work properly from any PC in this way however external Jetdirects will have problems with it. I do not know how he would react on your lab equipment, that's why I recommend the P3015 which you can always buy new with a warranty.

If my post decided and your problem please mark as a solution. You can thank all tech for a good post giving him a helping hand to the top just click the button below the post.

  • Replacing the old Standard Wireless Optical Mouse... can new mouse- or even model work with old receiver (mouse/keyboard)?

I have a model 1025 MS Standard Wireless Optical Mouse that has a flashing click function (it often does register any). It is part of a game that uses a keyboard with the same (office-puck-type computer) wireless receiver. I would only replace the mouse with all that is the closest current model (or maybe I can find a refurb or exact same model used, if need be).

QUESTION: The interchangeable receivers for a given model, or that they can be used with only one unit (mouse) specific?

I'm guessing that they refer to the receiver, otherwise with a range of 300 ft, chaos would result in an office full these. But maybe also this "overlay" is insider manually first handshake which is known later. If so, then there's a chance? My mouse: model 1025 p/n X 800127-113

The BIGGEST QUESTION, then maybe: a current 1000 series mouse will work with the receiver old (my model is more made, apparently)? Thank you!

It depends on the frequency that work on the mouse and the base.  I tried to find info on your old mouse and there is nothing available.  I think would be best to simply select a new wireless mouse.  It will come with a wireless receiver dongle that you can plug into a USB port.  I think you'd have a very hard time finding a new mouse that will use the same exact frequency as the old configuration.  If you're short USB ports to plug an extra dongle you can always buy a USB hub for next to no money. • How to recharge the models GO?

    Hey!

I have a VI with a structure dealing with two cases. In the first, I do an inspection. I use a lot Vision Assistant in this case. These WILL use templates located somewhere on a local disk. In the other case, I do the models that are subsequently used in the first case. The user presses a button when he wants to make new models. New models are set automatically, so they rewrite the 'old' railways models remain the same.

The problem is, that WILL use the old models, because when you run a WILL the template image is stored in RAM that is work a lot faster. If you do not restart the

program of WILL will not actually use the new models. Is it possible to reload the models after the nine were made, without having to restart the program?

    Matej

What has been set in 2010 SP1 is reloading the model, if the path is changed for the functions I mentioned above.

This could be a workaround (save the new template under a different name). For reasons of optimisation, we didn't want to load at each iteration (whenever the VI is called). We have added a code in 2010 SP1 to reload the model if the path passed to the Express VI is different (e.g., select you a different model).

If this isn't an acceptable solution, what you can do is to convert the Express VI into a Subvi regular and modify the code to reload when a flag is set, or if the performance is not a problem in your application, even load the model whenever the VI is called.

One of the solutions that I suggest is acceptable?

    Greetings:

I can locate is no longer the installation disc for my my old Canon Pixma iP 2600 printer.  I am able to install it w / add it as a printer in the Control Panel, but the Office feature fails to read that the printer is connected via the usb cord.  I'm not find no possibility to install it as a usb printer.  Please help as soon as possible.  I can't afford to replace the printer and I have several documents that I need to print today or early tomorrow, or there will be dire financial complications for me.  I NEVER had that problem w/Dell.  (the operating system is windows 7, which is exactly what I was running on my old dell model - I searched this forum and find a similar question, but that the consultant has been able to find a usb option in the drop down menu to the port facility.)  that option is absent in my attempts).

Interestingly, I discovered (after wasting a ton of time online and on the phone w/less useful HP tech) that the problem was in the two faulty usb ports on the front of this new processor.  at this point, I plan to return to the model of costco and return to dell.  Thank you for your help.

  • Office Pavilion - 400-540hk: unable to retrieve files from the old desktop USB HARD drive

My old desktop (model: CQ4128HK) can be power on. So I bought a new desktop computer (model: Pavilion Office 400 540HK). I have a lot of important files in my old office, so I bought a SATA-USB enclosure and connect my old hard drive to the new office. However, after connecting the old HARD drive, I can't find my files or windows folders; Instead, I see that a single drive with folders named "Backup-xXXx" or "WindowImageBackup".  Please suggest how to recover my files on the old HARD drive. They are very important. Thank you.

  • Module - registered models of user - broken printing! -Paper: (none)

Hi all, I recently got a new printer and now it would appear that my models registered earlier (before the new printer) in the print Module user is no longer defined the size of the paper properly which means that the print page stored in the template of the user is all messed up.  Specifically the user models I speak, the place where originally thrown out on paper 13 x 19 and when I select the user model is displayed by default back to a paper size 8.5 x 11 (but the print module reports it as paper: (none) and LR greenhouse just the layout of photo in the small size of paper 8.5 x 11 all overlapping.)

If I create a new page layout 13 x 19 and save it as a new model of the user, it works as expected.

I can tell you also that all previously recorded prints within the Library - Collection also seems to be broken in a similar way.  IE when I select the arrow next to the print icon (which takes you to the print module) Watch also printing on paper: (none) but looks like 8.5 x 11, when it used to be on a paper size 13 x 19.

All I can think is that it was at the time of the new printer.  Left an Epson Stylus 1400 for a P600 Epson if it helps people to solve the problem.

LR CC 2015.5.1 on Win10 64 bit running.

    Issues related to the:

-A anyone else seen this problem?

    Is there a solution?

-Are there a way to "restore/fix" user saved earlier models or impressions recorded in a paper size 13 x 19?

-Do LR saves in the saved drawings or models of user information' "personal printer"? ""  (I would have not thought so)

    Thank you

    A new printer!

You will need to choose a model---

    GoTo [Page Layout]

    Select your new printer

Select the paper size and other options in the printer dialog box

    Close printer dialog box

Right-click on the model in the Model Explorer Panel and choose "Update with current settings"

I think that using your 'old' printer models will not work!

  • Model has lost its .vmtx file

How to recreate the vmtx file or simply convert the template to a virtual computer with this file?  I'm unable to update the model with this file.  clones always seem to work.

    Any suggestions?

    Don

    Don,

Please create a new machine virtual Virgin on the same data as your virtual machine template store.

Delete and remove the floppy created with this new VM under change the settings.

Using the browser to store data, copy the hard existing in your VM template file in the folder of the new virtual machine.

Go on changing the settings for the new virtual machine and choose to add a disk.

Rather than create a new drive, navigate to the file hard that you just copied on and add that.

If you start this virtual machine (and convert it into a model) you can safely remove the old VM/model.

    Don.G wrote:

How can I get more information about what causes this generic error connect?

As a general rule, for a mistake like that, you can see the vmware.log or files that exist in the same folder on the data than the VM store.

  • LabVIEW Exe is different from Vi

    Hey everybody,

I saw a strange behavior during the test to an old application I'm building some time ago.

Accumulation LV ist with objects as models .NET project and Calculationroutines. Everthing works fine in the IDE of LabView. Calculation model and work well.

When I compile this project with the manufacturer of LV, it starts very well. But I recognize something strange.

In .net, I defined a class A as:

    class A

    {

    function_one (x, y, z)

    function_two(c,a)

    }

Where x, y, z, c, has are all the digital values.

And now it is. As I said in the Vi (LV IDE) everthing works fine.

The call of function_one() and funktion_two() works perfectly. In the function_one() Exe-Application works, but functuion_two not even call it, as I have the exe application with Visual Studio debugging.

So what's the deal here "?" Why funtion_two does not work? not yet called?

  • Problems connecting to internet - says network cable disconnected, not sure I have the correct driver installed.

Had a big storm - got the new modem.  but they said that my drivers where missing or damaged.  Downloaded Marvell Yukon of gateway - to the GT5432 model. Always says cable unplugged network. However, Bishop says peripheral device works correctly. Don't save: no update-unable to connect to the internet.  I uninstalled and reinstalled; rebboted, etc. - still nothing. It has a problem with the PCI connection - no driver, but I don't see anywhere to down load or know what to download. Oh and another adapter on - think 1394 - when I turn that on and off the wonder; It shows the signal for the 1394---400 and does not say his unplugged, but still can not connect to internet.
The "old" computer to try to find information; noticed that said, unplugged network cable but it allowed me to connect to the internet. When I disabled the 'extra' adapter message there went, speed signal only at 100 than at the 'old' calculation is not any other PCI devices connection listed.

I'm not sure of what continues.

The 1st computer was working fine - then picked it up to move it to where it belonged to my office and that's when he went out-made no sense to me!

Because you seem comfortable opening your computer, have you tried re - a corner of the map (with power off, remove the card and reinsert it into the slot, be sure to exercise static precautions if you are in an environment of low-hu7midity).  If there is an empty slot, you can also move the map Marvell to another location.  See the comments below.

It's a long shot, because even if you did not provide the complete ipconfig output, the data that you have provided appeared to be normal, but...

Open network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)
Right-click on the icon for your network adapter, and then select Properties
You should see a screen like this--> http://screenshots.modemhelp.net/screenshots/Windows_XP/Network_Connections/Local_Area_Connection/Properties/General/Index.shtml
    Issues related to the:
In the upper area, under 'Connect using' said 'Marvell Yukon 88E8039 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller?  If this is not the case, what does say?

In the second box, what are the items are listed under "this connection uses the following items"?

The only other thing I can think is that the Marvell Ethernet card was damaged in the same storm that got your original modem/router.

    *******************************************

According to Gateway, the GT5432 has 4 card slots:
    A PCI Express x 16 (GUI)
    A PCI Express x 1
    Two PCI Conventional

Your motherboard should look like this:

Orange, top, connector is the PCI Express x 16.  You probably have a video card in this slot.

The short white connector is the PCI Express x 1 connector.

Two more long white connectors are the standard PCI slots.

If I understand your installation, you should have the Marvell Yukon map into the slots of two down and your Agere modem on the other.  As long as you have the SMC1244TX PCI card, why don't just remove you the Agere modem or the card Marvell and insert the card CMS in one of the two PCI slots?  You are not using the modem and the working hypothesis is that the Marvell card does not work, so there is not much to gain by leaving a card in your computer.

Download the user guide and drivers for the SMC here--> http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?event=viewProduct&localeCode=EN_TUR&cid=9&scid=51&pid=238 map

Moreover, assuming that your open slot is the short PCI Express x 1 slot, you can buy another Ethernet card that will work in this niche: see--> http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100010064%20600016290&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=100

If I were you, I blow up the cheaper models and get the Intel EXPI9301CT $ 36 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps PCI Express Desktop Adapter Gigabit CT.  Note that this is the same card with a similar name (with close to 400 customers) which sells for $29,94.  The price difference is because the cheaper "BLK" letters in the description, which means that it is "sold in bulk" and has no drivers, user guide CD or anything else in the box.  There are several negative comments from people who do not understand this difference and then had trouble finding the driver for the card on the Internet.

  • How to remove the defects of window picture Scanner

    Hello

My first post over the years.

I recently bought a large dumpster scanner to scan - Mustek A3 USB 2400 PRO - newest technology.

It's probably a problem of with all scanners that use a (bar) LED light source rather than the old technology "fluorescent tube.

I noticed a regular pattern about an inch bars wide, up and down each scan. This appears ONLY if I do a severe contast stretch to almost white. The problem was that the model easily appears on 'dark backgrounds of an image', even after some minor stretching. If I lift the cover with something like a small object 1/4 "thick (for example an eraser) and do a scan of effectively the" space vacuum air "above the flat window, the same model is displayed in the 'empty space' far from the document - so that the stripes are NOT in the document, they are on the glass of the window - or a natural flaw in the way LED bars are made. I cleaned the window of the scanner with glasses drinking, Windex, cleanser and rubbed hard to Polish, in the case where new glass was "scraped" by the vibrations of the cover when shipped to me. I also tried scanning documents to several resolutions, low maximum of 2400 dpi for this model. Nothing helps.

I seems likely these, about one inch wide parallel strips, are actually the LED bar, perhaps composed of eleven segments of lighting an inch wide LED (on this great scanner model). This is similar to the way in which computer screens portable LCD would show scratches on black screens.  Each LED segment may be just very slightly different in intensity, and there is a "bright streak" to some of these "bar of the edges of the segment. Which would be caused by the light segments LED "not joined is not well enough to produce a luminous tube spaced regularly. The LED light bar "discreet, segemented" is not the same quality of light, as a source of continuous fluorescent light to the old.

To prove it, I did a scanned image 'air' of full bed (cover of the scanner deleted entirely, in a dark room) as a so-called 'Flat framework'. Then, I scanned a "dark color document (the"black cover inside"surface will do as test)."

Then, I used Photoshop CS5 "Calculations" in the "DIFFERENCE" mode. It subtracts the flat frame (with just the vertical streaks and bands of an inch), in the test document. Of course, "noise from the window" has been pretty well removed from analysis. AFAIK, there is no other method in Photoshop CS5 to fix the flaw of LED technology for the scans of photos of all sizes. Cannot use "Pattern" filters since it is not a regular pattern as those of offset presses, or any other printed matter.

Everyone knows about this problem with a scanner flat LED? This does not happen with my Epson Perfection 4880 (fluorescent light)

I can ONLY use the method of DIFFERENTIATION on a flat frame, if I perform analyses flat full even for small items, since there is no way to differentiate a flat frame 'section', which would be the same size and position as a smaller document (print, etc.).

A REAL DIFFICULTY would be if TWAIN drivers had a command to run a flat frame and save it in the memory to be broken by simply applying the coordinates of all the new scans of paper. It's like the scanner with a 'default map' for the entire window, and it can then simply use the section that is the same size as the new document, until the user recalibrates the flat frame.

It is not likely to happen, then maybe a really good feature for Photoshop CS5 update would be to integrate this in the software, under the "IMPORT" of the scanner, or at least to have such an option under "calculations".

Hope that technicians Adobe read this lengthy post. -All comments and suggestions would be welcome.

    Thank you

    Joe

Many drivers scanner do a calibration on the flat ground (which has to do with the response from white, and they have a bunch of built-in white calibration) and a black level calibration (for the reflection of noise and glass) as they scan.

You should probably use subtract blend instead of the difference mode, and you can just use layers instead of the old calculations command (which was how you did these things before the layers).

  • Impossible to make FaceTime calls on iPhone 7 using Siri

I tried to use Siri to do a FaceTime call tonight and gave an unusual error: "I wish I could, but FaceTime is configured with me yet."

I'm able to get Siri to open the FaceTime app, simply cannot access directly from my contacts and apart from this Siri works fine on the iPhone 7, including SMS and regular audio calls.

I tried a FaceTime using Siri call on 3 old iPhone models (5s, 6 + and 6s), all running iOS 10, and it worked properly on each of them, she was with both iOS 9 and 10 on the same model of 6s for the past year, so this leads me to believe it's a problem iPhone 7 (or an individual defective unit) rather than a problem of iOS 10.

I checked a number of settings on the iPhone 7 before coming here:

    • Siri is enabled.
    • FaceTime is activated.
    • Restrictions (general-> Restrictions) are completely shut down.
    • iCloud-> contact is activated.

    Hi there jsf23!

Welcome to Apple Support communities, it's my pleasure to help you with your iPhone 7 issue of Siri is not able to make FaceTime calls.  I use Siri all the time and have his power making FaceTime calls is another great feature.  Looks like you have checked a lot of things I want to check too, if I fell on the same subject.

At any time, that there is a problem with Siri or FaceTime, the first thing I recommend is to restart the iPhone and retest Siri and FaceTime.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If Siri is still underway on issues from a FaceTime call, try to perform a reboot of the force.  Remember, this will be a little different on an iPhone 7.

    • On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 more: press and hold the sleep/wake and Volume buttons down for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Test again and then try to check for updates.

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

    Have a great day!
