  • iMac and creative cloud

    My iMac 2010 has been encountering problems with Adobe Creative Cloud App support. Adobe has worked on my computer, reinstalled the app and it worked well, briefly. The app then disappeared. EtreCheck report seems to indicate a problem with the hard drive, but I wonder if the real problem is with creative cloud. If someone can clarify?

    Yes, your hard drive is a failure. Also, I noticed that you have com.macpaw.CleanMyMac3.Agent installed on the computer. CMM is considered malware by users on these forums. OS X doesn't require ANY antivirus, cleaning or maintenance utilities to work well. OS X run best if left alone!

    After getting your replaced HD (consider getting an SSD), manually install your applications and restore your Time Machine backup data files.

    In this scenario, when you are by clicking on allow however nothing happens after that, please let us know if this is the first time that you install the application Adobe Creative Cloud on this machine, or was it installed on this machine soon as well?

    If it's the first installation, then I recommend you to follow the steps below and try installation again as the below could block the app to proceed with the installation:

    1. temporarily disable security/Antivirus program completely installed on your machine.

    2 disable any browser add-on security is installed on your machine.

    3 temporarily disable the firewall system.

    4 reset the hosts file. See Advanced solutions to errors in connection with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications .

    But, if this is the second or third installation of the desktop application Adobe Creative Cloud on this machine, then check out the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the following help document: error "Unable to install" received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application .

    It seems that the exe file has been corrupted, please remove the desktop app using cleaning tool.

    Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

    Also rename the location Adobe application manager

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe

    Again try to install the creative cloud using this link.

    Please check that no firewall and antivirus enabled on the computer and also you should have full administrator privileges.
