  I would recommend you take advantage of the offer of discounts for Windows 8.

  Normally, it would be better to buy a computer with the latest version of Windows pre-installed because the computer could be certified to run the pre-installed operationg system.

  Method 1: Start the computer in last good known Configuration

   

  1. Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

  Looks like you want to control the programs that run at startup, right? It is always a good thing to do. You can run MSCONFIG (type in the search window on the start menu).  See the "Startup" tab  So, you can use other applications to display the same information.   Browse the list of questions, and if you decide all. For example many applications load stub apps to speed up their startup.   The first thing I would suggest to try is the following.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

  Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

  Do not assume that any malware has been removed.

  This is probably the result of malware then do a very thorough check and when the system
  is clean see the following message to remove this error.

  If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
  scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
  resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
  cause.

  No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
  to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
  its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
  extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

  Your computer comes pre-installed with Windows 8. You can extract the product key on the basis of good records, but it will not help you add functionality to your edition of Windows. To add features (Windows 8 Pro Pack or Media Center Pack) to your existing windows, you must purchase a product key that is completely different from your product key of Windows 8.

  To get there, press the windows key and type in "features " without the quotes and then click on "turn on or off windows features ". "" In the window that appears, you should games and next to it a button "+". Go ahead and click the button "+". You should see Chess titans here. If it is unchecked then go ahead and check it and click OK when you are finished. It should appear in the Games folder in the start menu and Explorer games now.   You can't (unless you want to buy it separately at full price).

  Windows 7 uses the "anytime upgrade" feature  Because Windows uses image based install now, technically you were always professional, you just had not unlocked it again by typing in the code.  If you were ever to re - install your computer, you'd be at the publishing house and just simply type the code again (Don lose it!)

  If you wish, you can create your own system image backup.  It's more than a Windows installation disc.  It is an exact replica of your entire hard drive, including all your programs and settings that you have configured. It's like a photo snapshot in time.  This gives you a CD, you can use to immediately restore your computer to the point in time where the image was taken - even all your installation and installs.

  If you want to create it, here's how:

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Choose system and security
  3. Choose the backup and restore
  4. Choose to create a system image on the left
