  I did a new install of XP 32 on a Tecra A9 but, once completed, WIFI connections got to the router, but never had an IP so never really connected as expected. Tried in many different routers but result always the same!

  If I put an IP address manually, all is well!

  I'll try to find the correct installation order to try and do a clean install, note that I have not found all these instructions any where (support or website forum) so I followed the order in this post [http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=169898𩞪] referring to the A10.

  I think that this has nothing to do with the installation order is your WLAN listed in the device manager card correctly? Have you installed the driver on the Toshiba site?

  You should check the Services in Windows. Ensure that DHCP and DNS Client are running and the startup type has the value automatically. In addition, your router must be able to distribute the IP (DHCP) addresses. This feature is enabled? Check it!

  Trying to load the printer driver for HP DeskJet 990c on Win7 64-bit (Intel i7 - 2640M). All online sources, including HP say pilot is available by clicking on "Windows Update" in the install printer driver dialog box. In doing so, always get message "Windows could not obtain the list of devices from Windows Update, please try again later".

  Windows Update is set to "Download updates but let me choose whether to install them".
  Downloaded and extract full X 86 driver catalog (X 86 - all - 4189_1228a7cf7b1aac21346b20cb6e21db409dde9e72.cab) from the Windows Update site http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspxcatalog. 'Disc', stated in the dialog of the printer driver install and selected prnhp001. INF, received immediatelt message this specified folder does not compatible device driver.
  Also tried to do the same thing with the IA64 catalog (IA64-all - 4190_6e0f85bb67d0038a6406fc71b777a1906a87888c.cab), not surprisingly has the same result.
  Also tried to do the same thing with the AMD64 catalogue (AMD64-all - 4188_bacd1413e93b4a6362d9a2ca653c869f1c02f6f7.cab) and curiously that appear additional list catalog successfully. However, when choosing hp deskjet 990 c, as soon as the driver begins to install the error box appears saying "printer driver not installed, the operation may not be completed (error code 0x00000002).
  Cannot find any other relevant catalogues on the site Windows Update Catalog (which is X 64).
  Have tried to launch MicrosoftFixit.wu.RNP.85259331246416206.3.1.Run.exe, which is worth 1 point fixed, but has no effect on the problem.
  A short of ideas. How can I get my hands on 990c driver for Win7 - 64 Intel?

  Three things:

  -If it's in VGW, approved and non-approved interfaces must have the same IP address

  -Uncheck "the passage through the VLAN ' on both sides

  We have an airport extreme connected generation via Ethernet to a switch that provides network access to our entire House (about 10-15 connections) via wifi access points all Ethernet hard wired (linksys + apple) and a direct wire to a PC. Airport extreme is the dhcp and is connected to a gpon fiber using PPPoE.

  The problem now is that the AirPort Extreme disappears from the airport on iOS Mac utility and Windows, it is found however the network and the Internet continues to operate normally on all connected devices. I can also continue ping on the router.

  I have reset the AirPort Extreme to the default settings, but the problem continued...

  You describe a known problem with Back to My Mac which first appeared around July 13. The problem manifests itself in a message "Device not found" meant to be displayed in triangular AirPort your AirPort base station with a yellow icon utility, while the router of the device functions others continue to work normally.

  Nice try, but this isn't an answer very nonsense similar to most of the HP answers I've seen on the forums.

  -J' already have the l3 uninstall and reboot, as already indicated in my original post.

  -L' computer already has the latest version of Flash - over this software has nothing to do with communicating with the scanner.

  -The software is already downloaded from HP.

  However, I have repaired and it is perhaps what made him.  I'm not positive:

  -J' ran 'bpd_scan_Carrier.msi' which is in the folder "setup\bpd_scan" by right-clicking and choosing "update".

  I solved the same problem by disabling my connection #2 wireless network adapter (Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter).  I found this by comparing the MAC address listed in the error message with the release of CMD > ipconfig/all.  Noticed that this adapter is continually attempted to communicate with my DHCP server, and I was not still use it.

• Mac OS of the OOB VGW 4.7.2 NAC authentication

  I realize that the Mac in our environment OOB VGW don't SSO as machines of the window. Since then, I don't want to get into the business of managing a lot of username and passwords I tried to find alternatives.

  The first that comes to mind is a 'group' ID and the password in the local DB usable by Mac users. Simple but from a security point of view not a good idea.

  The second thought is to create a second authentication server, where Mac users can point to when the login screen appears.

  There are caveats to the use of the second server auth? Are there opportunities he cold cause problems with SSO?

  Robert,

  You can use either a MAC user page, or just the LDAP value on your default page. That way if one of your Windows machine fails authentication too for some reason, they will be able to use LDAP to log. Either should work just fine.

  Same user name for the LDAP configuration would work fine too.

  Hello! I have two devices from the airport: on the one hand at home and a time in my lab Capsule. I was away for 20 days and yesterday, when I came back, there was a problem with the two: my Mac cannot access these devices, they can connect to wifi networks hosted by them. When I try to access these devices via Airport utility, I get the error message "device not found". This message, both at home and in the laboratory, tells me that the device was part of my network before, and that I should check if it is within its range.   This was reported once many here recently.

  A 'solution' refers to those who have set up their base stations for Back to My Mac. If you did, how to follow recommended action is temporarily remove or disable this option, as follows:

  • Run the AirPort Utility.
  • Select the base and then station, select change.
    • Note: You may need to use the option "configure others...". "to access the base station. Enter the IP address of the base station, the default value is: 10.0.1.1 and base station administrator password when you are prompted.
  • On the tab of the Base Station, go back to the section of my Mac at the bottom of the window.
  • If you have entries here, select it and click then the minus sign "-" button to remove it.
  • Click on update and allow the base station restart.

• Why do I see "device not found" airport Admin?

  I have an AirPort extreme and my parents have a TimeCapsule. They are both showing the message "device not found" in the administration of the airport. We tried cycling power etc. Our networks still work, however we can not connect to manage and backups of my parents stopped. Is anyone else seeing this?

  I have an Airport extreme with a capsule 2 TB that I use as a backup file.

  All of a sudden I can't connect to the airport time capsule. When I launch the airport utility, there is an orange triangle/exclamation point that fits the description "device not found". The router works well, since I am connected to internet (at this time).

  I tried to unplug the unit and time capsule comes back for about 2-3 minutes until the same problem occurs again. Factory of Soft and hard resets produce the same results. I know this isn't my macbook pro because it does the same thing on my phone as well.

  You have Back to My Mac configured on the TC with your AppleID?

  This has happened to me and when I removed my AppleID and disabled Back to My Mac it ceased to occur and the TC became visible again.

  I hope that Apple will fix this soon but it would pay record a call of support with Apple on this topic as well.

  I have the time Capsule on the airport of the TB 3 802.11ac (bought 9/2014).  It integrates the latest version of the 7.7.7.  Just last week, I received the error device not found (.. .has been previously a part of your network... etc.).  The internet connection is always good and the component of the time capsule router still works.  When I unplug the device, it can find him but eventually will go down in a few minutes.  I also did a warm reboot, but some results.  Printer connected to the time capsule does not, nor does Time Machine back ups.

  Running a 5th generation I'm stuck. I checked a bunch of other posts and restarted all devices, as well as reset the base station. I also adjusted IPv6 at the local level.

  When I pull up the Airport utility, I get "device not found" and cannot connect to the base station to adjust settings. What is weird is I can get temporarily in Airport utility if restart my MacBook and the base station at the same time. However, it does not last long. I also see the drive mounted in the Finder all the time. A Wi - fi connection works without interruption.

  I tried this on 2 Macbooks, an ipad and an iphone. El Capitan running. I am at a loss.
