  • That is - this pre - req checker... How reliable is it?

    Hello

I'm trying to build on the server for vCAC 5.2 and execution before requisition checker all the Red Cross have been fixed only with IIS, I'm frustrated. No matter how many times I turn off of <>- the authentication method to change checker.

However if disable any authentication method, the status of IISServer goes red with messages that none of the authentication method is enabled. If I enable Windows authentication (which is really required or active), IIS server Red Cross changes checkmark green but get nothing change to the other of the Red Cross.

Be frustrated I checked the Configration file that this auditor seems to actually change the status. Surporsingly I found all the required parameters are saved in the Configuration file.

    windows.JPG

I do not understand if they are well recorded then why does not check showing green status?

Is this auditor really trust for such control action? >

I'm just now frustrated and tried to do the same step for the last hours.

    Need help Frédéric

    Thanks in advance

According to me, the pre - req check tool seeks the settings in the registry, and if you set windows authentication, leave the default values for the advanced settings and information about the provider, although correct, is not updated everything that seeks the auditor.

    To fix:

    1. Go to the IIS default website services manager
    2. Authentication
    3. Authentication Windows, advanced settings
      1. Set extended protection to something besides off, uncheck the box enable kernel-mode, press OK
      2. Return to the advanced settings, back of extended protection set to off, and check enable kernel mode, press OK
    4. Authentication Windows, providers
      1. Remove Negotiate, NTLM, click OK
      2. Return to suppliers, add Negotiate and NTLM, click OK
    5. Re-run the auditor of the pre - req, should show Green

  • What are the pre-reqs for 12 c that install additional WHO?

Can we list all of the pre-reqs for additional installation of OMS.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Prerequisite useful
    ============
1 the source and target machine operating system must match whose architecture
Example: If the source computer is 32-bit linux then target machine must be 32-bit linux
2 operating system users must be the same on the source and target, including the user ID and group ID machine
For example: Consider SGD is installed using the user oracle on the source machine, oracle user belongs to the oinstall group. On the source machine, if the oracle user id is 500 and 501 oinstall group id is then on the target machine, create user with UID 500 oracle and oracle user must belong to the group with gid oinstall (501)
    3. check if all the necessary packages are installed on the target computer
4 software library must be configured on the source computers and target at the same place by the same user
Example: on the source machine, if the software library is configured on/u01/swlib by oracle user and then on the destination machine, software library must be configured on/u01/swlib by oracle user only
    5. / tmp directory on the source computer is used for temporary storage, it must have a minimum of 5 GB of space
    6. on the source and target computers, anywhere performing custom with minimum of 4 GB of space is required. These custom locations staged are used during the process of cloning as temporary storage location
    7. before starting the additional installation of SGD, agent must be installed on the target computer
    8. the agent must be rising and running on the target computer, the upload should be allowed
    9. ensure the target host machine is shown as upward in 12 c Cloud Control

  • New installation fails during the expansion of the files Windows 7 Pro

Recently, I built a new computer after my old man died. I installed Windows 7 Pro, I had on the old system. Everything worked well for about a month. Then I started having various errors, some suggesting a memory error. I ran several times using the most comprehensive parameters of memtest and no problem not found. Further inspection, I discovered that a critical system update was applied just before that the problems started. I decided to roll back the change. It does not solve the problem. I tried to do a system repair. That did not work. She only had basic as IE11 and Skype applications. I had also installed the utilities for the motherboard and graphics card. So, I decided to do a clean install. Each time, it fails during the expansion of the files. The error message is, "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupted or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. "Error code: 0 x 80070570." He gets up to 30% each time. I tried to install for a V300 Kingston SSD (120GB). I also tried another SATA II HDD (750 GB) with the same problems. I downloaded a new ISO and tried to install from that. Yet once, it is not at the same point. I noticed that whenever it creates a partition system reserved 100 MB which is almost full. At one point, I got a message saying that there are about 8 000 MB of free space. (I think that was all trying to manually unzip the files by a tip I found online). I found several suggestions for similar problems, but the solutions proposed did not help. I'm sure it will be a simple solution, but I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

If Memtest86 fails then you need to get into the BIOS and set the RAM timing.  Memtest86 + displays the calendar then use the value displayed and compare to the real specs for your memory.  Also, you may need to increase the voltage to the RAM (in BIOS) place a small amount.

As regards the function of Intel EIST, let her enabled for now. Then enable it after installing Windows successfully.

    =============================================================

It's the set of test utilities that I use on every new system that I'm building.

Note: If you are OverClocking or use an automatic overclocking or BIOS power saving features, start by disabling: Intel EIST, Turbo Mode, Cool and pretty and fall back to the speed of stock as a starting point.

Disconnect any other (additional) internal hard drives and external USB devices.
Look for any loose hard drive power or cables SATA, graphics card or other power cables.

    First run Memtest86 +:
It runs from a floppy disk or CD and should eliminate or confirm if one or more of your memory
sticks are bad or the values of the SPD in the BIOS are correct.
Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours (at least 3 full passes), so no errors at that time then your ram is OK.

    Problem is perhaps because:

PRCI-1144 : Failed to retrieve Oracle Grid Infrastructure home path

    PRKC-1144 : File "/etc/oracle/olr.loc" not found.

All the ideas I'm watercraft evil and how to finally install the Oracle?

I found the reason for this exception. If someone will face the same problem just create/etc/oracle folder and give it permissions 777. For me, it helped.

  • YES pre reqs

    Hi all

    11.2.0.4

    RHEL 6.5

I want to install oracle db.

    The documents pre-reqs says:

    Software requirements

The following maintenance tools must be installed on all machines and their locations specified in the path of the account that is running

Installed and in the path on the account that will own the database.

    • AR
    • CCG
    • g ++
    • ksh
    • LD
    • linux32
    • do
    • X display server

How can I check if I have these software? What is the command to run?

Also, I'm confused what is the use of the name of the database world? Is it really important to qualify? I always do only one name as "orcl" and it works for me.

So I do not often use fully qualified name coz I'm afraid he'll be messed up

    Capture.PNG

Can you suggest which is the best way to do it? If I did it alone as in "orcl", how can I change it to the fully qualified name, as in "orcl.ec2.internal"?

    Thank you all...

When I run the Setup, I've seen warnings. I already have the shmmax based on oracle documentation. It seems that the installer doesn't? What is the right shmmax is looking for?

I also yum install the pdksh, but it cannot be found. Where can I get? Thank you all

    Capture.PNG

    Capture.PNG

I do not see pdksh listed as a requirement for RHEL6 (required for RHEL4)

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/install.112/e47689/pre_install.htm#LADBI1111

Your runInstaller GUI runs in X if you have an X Server (otherwise he would have stopped at startup where it does not check for this).

  • Pre - Req courses before registering for the workshop course for certification VCP5-VTC (confusion)

    Dear all,

I intend to attend examinations VCP5-VTC and all through vmware site I found to attend this certification, must complete one of the courses of training to get the pre - req certificate. One of the pre - req given on the site is "Trouble Shooting Workshop", when I checked the details for this course, it is said below pre - req.

Prerequisites include completion of one of the following:

    • VMware® Certified Professional 5 - virtualization data center (VCP5-VTC)

    • VMware vSphere: Fast Track [V5.1]

    • VMware vSphere: optimize and scale [V5.1]

Administration and knowledge equivalent • experience with ESXi and vCenter Server

Experience with the work on the command line is strongly recommended

I need to know if I'm not VCP5-VTC and also did not attend the Fast Track or optimize and scale, I can't save for the course of the workshop? I must firstly fill Fast Track OR optimize and only then I'd register myself in over course "Workshop" scaling?

    Please specify.

    Kind regards

Technically, anyone can book themselves on the workshop, but the advanced/content issues are not really suitable for those who meet these prerequisites listed - those who do not know how what is fast track and Optimize classes & scale would have difficulty with the workshop.

You don't HAVE to be a VCP5 VTC either, but if you are then you will be at a level equivalent to a person who did the FT/O & S classes - that's why certification is listed as an alternative condition, as well as the "equivalent knowledge and experience.

    Hi user10088255,

Please follow the procedure under the section 'How to check the contents of the inventory Central' (Doc ID 742477.1) to check whether or not 10.1.2 ORACLE_HOME is registered in the central inventory. If it is not registered then follow one of the methods in the same doc to add.

    Thank you

  • OPatch failed with the error code 74

    Hello

    I'm on 12.0.4 & database 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bi.

I am trying to apply a patch for ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [errior to kwqicgpc:cursta that has occurred.  But receive the error below.

    History of patch file: /orabase/asg/oracle/db/10.2.0/cfgtoollogs/opatch/opatch_history.txt

Fix provisional application '5910901' ApplySession to OH ' / orabase/asg/oracle/db/10.2.0'
    Prior running check...
    The prerequisite checking 'CheckApplicable' failed.
    The details are:
Patch 5910901 : Required or missing components: [oracle.dbjava.rsf, 10.2.0.3.0, newer version found 10.2.0.5.0]
ApplySession failed when prior checks: checking prerequisites 'CheckApplicable' failed.
System intact, OPatch will not attempt to restore the system

OPatch failed with the error code 74

Should it be applied to the application $ORACLE_HOME node or node of db as my db node is separate from the CM, the forms and the Apache.

Below was the action plan provided by Oracle earlier.

    1. download and apply Patch 5910901 to a 10.2.0.3 $ORACLE_HOME and use the updated ojdbc14.jar is file.

    2. you can also use the 10.2.0.4 ojdbc14.jar is file.

How to apply this patch and how to use the 10.2.0.4 ojdbc14.jar is file.

    Ask for your help.

    Kind regards

You are on 11.2.0.5 and the patch is available for versions 10.1.0.5 and 10.2.0.2 10.2.03 you do not need to apply this hotfix.

According to (ORA-600 [kwqicgpc:cursta] [139200.1 ID]), this bug is fixed in 10.2.0.4 If you're on 10.2.0.5 you don't need to apply this patch that is included in the version of your database.

Please log an SR for this error if (search tool error ORA-600/ORA-7445/ORA-700 [153788.1 ID]) does not help.

  • OPatch failed with error code = 74

    Hi all

I am trying to apply a Patch to fix a HFM error, but the patch has failed for the following reason:

I applied the apply, but the patch failed due to the following error:

ApplySession failed when prior checks: checking prerequisites 'CheckActiveFilesAndExecutables' failed.
System intact, OPatch will not attempt to restore the system

OPatch failed with error code = 74

According to the documentation of patch, step 1 is to stop Services of HFM, HsxServer.exe, HsvDataSource.exe and CASSecurity.exe process on all application servers.

I couldn't find these processes under Task Manager on our server HFM. So I stopped all Financial Services of the Hyperion of services.

I can't find these processes. I don't know if just by stopping all these processes automatically interrupted HFM services?.

    Help, please!

It might be useful to restart the server to clear all the locks on the files and make sure that no Hyperion not associated services are set to start before restarting the case, once you have restarted the files will be locked again.

    See you soon
