As with all products Oracle Opatch has probably changed over time.
It was introduced in 9.2.0.6 announce 9.2.0, which is a valid, non-existent version number.
I remember that Opatch simply does not work for older versions of 9.2.
Also it is most likely at the outset that it was not possible to specify the location of the inventory on the command line.
Without more information from your side, it just seems that you are running the wrong version of the opatch against an incorrect version of the database. Not surprisingly, this translates exceptions, and those can also not be addressed.
Please make sure that you are running the correct software.
If you think that this is an error, make sure that you complete the retail version and correct from the start.

Validation for opatch lsinventory test
I have a 12.1.0.2 grid and db Installation that was installed by someone else.
He also patched the system with the last power supply in April, but it doesn't look like this was done correctly. I want to be absolutely certain before I pretend he was not right.
Here is the output of opatch lsinventory. It seems to me that only the first node has been patched. Is this true?

Look at the error message. bash (shell processor) said you that he could not find an executable named "opatch. And why couldn't he? Because, unlike Windblows., * nix is not, by default, search the current directory to find executable files. He seeks only the directories listed in the variable, or else he must be told where the executable referenced explicitly.
You could do the following:
. / lisinventory opatch
(saying bash to search the directory current... that is what the "point")
or
/U01/app/Oracle/product/10.2.0/Db_1/OPatch/opatch lsinventory
(developer bash the full path to the executable file)
or
export PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch: $PATH
lsinventory opatch
(adding to the directory containing the executable file for the path.
opatch lsinventory-details
bash: opatch: command not found
If bash couldn't find opatch, he can't find opatch, no matter what parms of command line you can apply to move up opatch if he considered.

11.2.0.3 RAC and DB.
Hello
Here is the output of lsinventory to a RAC opatch. What got me confused, is that the DB and RAC have the same patches installed.
As Im fairly new to the RAC, it is common to apply a "Grid Infrastructure Patch Update" in the House database? Or have I missed something here?

Hey everyone, I am using 4.6 jde
I try to use the Coordinates.distance () function within an app that I'm building and my problem isn't really with the function itself, if I am controlled with 2 coordinates variable declared in the function that I use it it works. But I try to use a global variable of coordinates with this function, and when I try to update this variable seems not updated correctly. Dunno if im explaining so here is the code...
//within uiapplication class private Coordinates _last; private class PaceListener implements LocationListener { public void locationUpdated(LocationProvider provider, Location location) { double longitude = location.getQualifiedCoordinates().getLongitude(); double lat = location.getQualifiedCoordinates().getLatitude(); System.out.println(longitude); System.out.println(lat); if(_updates == 0) { _last=(Coordinates)location.getQualifiedCoordinates(); _updates++; System.out.println(_updates); return; } else{ Coordinates temp= location.getQualifiedCoordinates(); System.out.println("_______"+_last.getLongitude()); System.out.println(temp.distance(_last)); _last= temp; } } }
So my problem here is that no matter what the final location was System.out.println ("_" + _last.getLongitude ()); still prints the longitude variables temp. It's my debug output

Hi Raymetalgear,
It seems that the game is not uninstalled properly. I suggest to delete the game Application Data folder NBA2012 folder and try to reinstall.
2012 NBA record will be stored in the following location:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\ NBA 2012
Let us know if that helps.

We have locations, saved, and mappings are using the saved password is used.
Problem is that whenever someone wants to, say, generate a mapping in OWB insists on a password being provided to the location even if the password has already been saved to this location. Then lock the location, by locking other users. This becomes a major drawback that our team is growing and we all use the same target location.
I suppose we could watch creation of individual locations and then change at deployment time, but I don't see why OWB cannot use the password already provided for the location (and therefore, hopefully not to lock).
Someone at-suggestions to better manage this - surely we cannot be isolated in this issue.I think that you need to check the selection persist, not uncheck.

Error 1606. The installation of the Adobe Photoshop Elements and first CD (autorun) file is 'programmed' to install on a network drive. Where can I go to change the default player for installation? Typically this is requested before installation.
I put the CD in the drive, the autorun starts, I click on (install first), the bootstrapper (or something) starts to run, then the Error 1606 appears not "connected to the network drive" and returns me to the page "install".
My Microsoft registry file is configured to be installed on the C:\ drive (correct). The facility is constantly trying to install to \\posifileserver (my server files on the desktop). Any help would be appreciated.
See if one of these fix your problem

Bar Quick Menu screen location problem
Recently, the Quick Menu bar itself moved in the middle of my screen. Once, he resided in the lower LH corner. How can I move it back up to the corner?
Operating system is Windows 7 using the resolution of the screen 1366 x 768. I did not make any changes to the display settings.
Click and hold the square Center of the menu (where the 2 lines meet), should allow you to hang around where you want it on the screen
