  Just updated to 1675.  Tried to open the BBM and BBM configuration screen flies upwards and the spinner continues to turn for always with the message 'Opening BBM'.

  BBM got working again!

  Go to settings-> Blackberry ID and re-connect with your BBID.  BBM opened again and it associated to your ID Blackberry and everything of fine.

  How can I stop the auto opening BBM when I take the phone out of the case?

• BBM does not open BBM, BBM closed contacts.

  None of my 17 contacts will open in BBM today.
  I want to chat with any of them but it will take about 10 seconds to open and close the BBM application.
  It started to happen today. Yesterday, it works beautifully. I have not installed new applications for about a month. What is going on? It does not work in the two WiFi, or just the network of the carrier. I have excellent signals. Everything else in BBM works... the shop, the channels, groups etc...
  I have two Z30s times with the last official OS 10.2.1.2977 and the latest official version of BBM.
  Only works fine now.

  I tried to restart, remove all third party applications and native applications too. delete all the contacts in the contacts of local phone etwewc. and still my BBM contacts, none of them would work. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds to appear in the chat window and then close the BBM.
  I deleted all conversations recorded in the bbm got, reset all settings by default etc, and still the problem persisted. In the end, nothing has worked. I had to reload the OS 10 software using the link to blackberry and my PC. I had to start all over again. BBM works now. It's so weird that from one day to another BBM would not chat. BBM works now. What has caused the problem? Nobody seems to know.

• Several open BBM BBM groups and message being deleted

  Hello all: I've recently updated my BB Bold 9900 at a new classic. I made the switch of the device and my three BBM groups transferred nicely. After a week of use, no problem.

  Recently, in the last 7 days, I noticed my self-suppression cats when I have more than one group of ongoing discussion.

  Then, with two or more BBM group discussion going, I will get a notification in the HUB that someone sent a message. I can see the preview in the HUB. I touch the notification in the HUB, and it opens the BBM "app." As soon as it opens I see quickly the cat disappear, as well as any history behind it.

  If I get a notification and I go to the BBM app directly, sometimes the cat is there and sometimes the cat is deleted. I put the story for all the conversations of "forever".

  EDIT: Don't know if this helps, but some of the participants in the group the cats are on iPhone and/or device Samsung Galaxy.

  Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so, is there a solution?

  Make another person in the Group and the administrator and then it prompts you to come back and make you an administrator once they invite you to come back. Everything will remove and then Resync.

  I have a BB Bold 9900 and must open my backup files in urgent BBM!

  I can easily open the file history through Excel on my laptop, but I can't open the backup files, and it is these conversations that I need.

  The files appear like this for example...

  for example. BBM-(12-08-31-10-53).bak

  I also need to open the history files stored in Whatsapp, once again, I can't open these files.

  We knew the things you tried to solve this problem?

  Below KB explains on the symptoms of the error when installing BBM, which may apply to your question.

  You must use only mobile data and turn off WiFi when installing BBM surveys. If the problem persists, use a WiFi connection and disable mobile data.

  Is there a way to connect directly to / open a channel of BBM?

  I don't want the application to you subscribe to the channel, but just open BBM to the channel so that the user can see the channel and decide for themselves.

  The only problem with this is that it opens the BBM channel on top of the application.

  I know, I can initiate the cat for any contact, but is it possible to receive messages in my application and continue chatiing?

  No, there is no API for BBM chat messages in your application.

  If you open BBM Chat card from your application with a user, you already have a BBM conversation with chat history is displayed.  But you can't have the content of the actual conversation within your application.

  Hi all, I am fairly new to the Blackberry 10 development, I started the Simulator and tested if BBM works, I followed all the steps requred to make it work but I get "temporary server error, please try again later", I looked through all of the threads that I could find about this problem but nothing works, whenever I try to open BBM , although there seems to be some activity on cmd server, can someone please help

• BlackBerry Smartphones BBM drains the battery without the use of telephone (proof)

  (I have a PRIV BB running the latest update of Marshmallow).

  BBM drains the battery.

  I took my PRIV off lunch charger yesterday and weather scheduled 7: 00 the next day morning, that the battery has been completely drained by BBM.

  NOTE IMPORTANT: I did not receive all the BBM messages during this time - sent no BBM messages during this time - didn't even open BBM Meanwhile - didn't even use my phone during this time (I just left it autour sitting in the living room)

  Function checking the battery charge shows that in this period, BBM consumed 40% of my battery (the order of the day closer to you that consumed power was Android OS, but only 8%)

  I called support for the PRIV BalckBerry and I share my information to troubleshoot with them.

• How to change the name of BBM profile

  Somehow my profile name BBM has been altered.

  I can see the source of the display name, but I don't know when and how it was created.

  As far as I can see there is only a method getDisplayName() that returns in the name of the current user.

  Any idea when (i.e. event) name was created and how can I remove/change the value.

  Interestingly, my BBM contacts can change the name on their devices.

  It is normal that your BBM contacts to be able to change your display name is on their devices.  But it will only relate to their device.

  There is no API to programmatically change the name of your profile.  You can change it in the customer of the BBM by clicking on your profile that is displayed at the top when you open BBM.
