Open msg files

How can I open the saved Outlook msg files if I don't have Outlook on my computer?

Hello

MSG files can be opened by Outlook.
To view export in any other format, you can install a test Board.
So here's a few files, take it to another computer where you have Outlook.
Once you get the Outlook program, you will need to put them in a folder and export it
so that you get the EML files which can be opened by any email client.
If you cannot download an Office suite trial OR simply view them
Try free tools like MSG Viewer. (If you can't see after the trial has expired).

  • How to open .zip files in windows media player? I get the msg file type not supported. MP3 files are in the folder.

Hi I downloaded audio files that you want to create a playlist on windows media player to download to my mp3 player so I can be more mobile to study. When I tried to play on windows media player I get error msg-file type is not supported or the codec is not compatible with the player. They are .zip files. inside are the mp3 files that I need to listen to. can someone help me.

    Hello

You need to open ZIP files, which are compressed to make it smaller, then use the content
in the application appropriate - so if the audio or video content can use WMP.

Compress and uncompress files (zip files)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/compress-and-uncompress-files-ZIP-files

Although Windows has integrated ZIP, you might be more comfortable using a program
with more features (and works with different types of compressed files).

    7ZIP - free

  • Error Msg: cannot open the file "Windows XP Professional - 000004.vmdk.

The hard drive on my iMac crashed while my virtual machine is running.  When I try to open the virtual machine 'suspended', I get the following error message: could not open the file "Windows XP Professional - 000004.vmdk"; The system cannot find the specified file.  This file is listed in the contents of the packaging of the XP machine, but it notes the date, the iMac has crashed, which is the last day of work of the virtual machine.  I have read through discussions and tried a few things from the knowledge base, but I can't go past the error msg for the virtual machine to run.  Any suggestions?

After selecting OK, I then received the second attached message, "Current Message.png", which reads... "your virtual machine has not returned because of an error.  If you believe that the error is correctable and you want to keep the suspended state, so you can correct the mistake, after that the virtual machine is turned off, select Preserve.  To ignore the waking state, select reject. »

I didn't do anything since getting this second message because I do not know which to choose.

In this case I'd throw away them.

If after following your excellent detailed instructions & explanation (thank you!), here is what happened...

As the machine has begun to resume in a suspended state, that asked me if I moved or copied and I selected, copied.

In cases like this (restore a Machine virtual sauvegardΘ) the correct answer to this question is "I moved it" even thought "I copied it" seams more logical, it is not the right answer but with the advent of the second error message, not caused by the answer to the first question, no answer would have mattered.

(if I can just get my prospects for work with this virtual machine files, your help would be invaluable!)

This Virtual Machine is always recoverable, however if you are only interested in the recovery of data from the user then after reading the following quit VMware Fusion and try to mount the virtual disk to the Virtual Machine using the information below.

Take a look at: VMware Fusion (menu bar) > help > Search > type VMDKMounter, and then select use VMDKMounter to mount a virtual drive as a Mac Volume

Notice, ignore the parts on "to add support for reading / writing to NTFS volumes, you need to install NTFS - 3G separately." as it is not necessary for recovering files within the VM using VMDKMounter, because you only need read access to retrieve data from the user.

After obtaining your user data disassemble the virtual hard disk on the desktop and then after that you want to retrieve the VM using methods from another just let know us and additional directions can be given.

  • . MSG file Uploads/opening the link

I have a ColdFusion application that allows users to download attachments, normally the text files, Word documents, Excel files and images.  These downloaded attachments can be opened from the inside of the ColdFusion application by clicking on the links generated for each attachment.  Works great, no problems until someone decided that they needed to download Outlook .msg files.  The .msg file download to the server, but not opens when you click on the link, get a 404 File not found error.  I can find and open the file.

Yes, there is a trick to open a .msg via a web link?  I expect to work as a doc Word, start Outlook and open the file.

You will need configure the Web server to manage the MIME of a .msg file type, it's how he knows what to do with it.

  • PC will not open DOCX files

Hi I need to open DOCX files on a regular basis and my pc will not allow me, the msg I get when I try to open these files is shown below as an attachment, please take a look at this msg and I would like to know why and what I have to do, is this supposed file type to be like a pdf doc?

.docx is the further expansion of Word 2007/2010 document.
If you have Word 2003 or earlier, please go here:
    http://Office.Microsoft.com/en-us/Word-help/open-a-Word-2007-document-in-an-earlier-version-of-Word-HA010044473.aspx
and this will give you what you need to do.

    If doesn't help then:

In Windows Explorer, right-click a .docx file and select "open with...". »
In the dialog box that follows, select "Microsoft Office Word", or navigate to the location of Office program files and select WINWORD. EXE.
Make sure that you select the option "always use the selected program to open this type of file".

If help not the only thing I can advise is to try to restore the database by using Word Recovery Toolbox. http://www.oemailrecovery.com/word_recovery.html

  • I get this error when I try to open a file with Acrobat Reader, it is said: Adobe Reader could not open "heels 2014 001.bmp" because it is not a type of file supported or because the file has been damaged (for example: it is sent as an email to)

I get an error msg when I try to open a file using adobe reader software.  Error States: Adobe Reader could not open ' heels 2014 001.exe bmp because it is not a supported type, file or because the file has been damaged (for example: he was sent as an attachment to e-mail and has not been decoded correctly.).

I tried to send an email with attachments 44 and would not send the email. Ever since I tried to send this e-mail, I have been doing the error msg.

Anyone know how I can get this to work for me again?

Thank you, any help is greatly appreciated.

    JoJo

The file you are trying to open is (you can see from the name) a BMP, PDF files no file. Adobe Reader can only open PDF files, just so stop trying to open it with Adobe Reader. The app, users of Windows for BMP files is painting.

  • IE7 "could not open the file: * path *.» The file exists may not

I created a package of IE7 a while back which works great.  Apart from this little problem.  It generates an error when the user tries to open a .msg to the WebApp.  It will try to open Outlook and display the following error message.  «Could not open the file: * path *.»  The file exists may not, you don't have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program.  Right click on the folder that contains the file, and then click action to check your permissions for the folder. »

All the other files attached to work.  PDF, html, txt, rtf, etc.  I tried to move temporary Internet files to a different location with the same result.

  • How to open a file downloaded microsoft word to macos sierra

How to open a file downloaded microsoft word to macos sierra

You should just be able to double-click on it since OS X built a decompression software. But unless you are sure that the source of the MS Word file is safe and secure, be careful, because a typical method of malware distribution is through such files.

  • Safari 10 not not automatically opening PDF files

Yes, I have the box checked in the preferences to automatically open reliable files after downloading. I have tried many different websites PDF files now, and none of them does not open automatically.

I tried to delete the preferences of Safari, but that did not help.

Does anyone else have this problem?

For security reasons, I don't have Safari 10: preferences: general Panel: Open Safe files after downloading verified. It has nothing to do with the opening of PDF documents in the browser, as it is the function of the OS X Internet plugin default to this end, or the option in Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF plug-in.

Plug-in Adobe Reader is disabled by default in the 10 Safari: preferences: Security Panel: Internet Plug-ins. You will need to activate it via the plugin settings - if you use it, but with a WARNING WARNING like Safari 10 notes that there are security issues that you can, or perhaps are not willing to accept.

With Adobe Reader Plug - in disabled Internet, 10 Safari automatically opens a PDF Web site in the browser. There are no preferences special setting to enable this default behavior.

What happens if you try to open one without iTunes? That has really nothing to do at all with iTunes?  If this isn't the case, then you would probably get a wider range of people experienced with problems of general network on a forum for you use the version of the system.
