  9.0.1 running on the desktop. I seem to have lost the ability to open a new window instead of a new tab. (My laptop still allows me to do).

  Thank you! Activating/Deactivating the option of tabs on / off power had no effect. However, I also noticed that I could not access my modules in the Tools menu. Go to safe mode allowed me to do it and also allowed me to open new windows. I disabled all add-ons and then proceeds to activate one by one. The culprit seems to be "Vitzo WHOIS 2.2". Activation of this add-on - it prevents me from opening new windows or access to my list of Add-ons. I have not tested one half-dozen other addons that I decided to leave disabled, but Vitzo is certainly a problem.

• Captivate 6 crashes when you open the variable window

  Hello

  I must say that I get pretty bored with how buggy Captivate 6 turns out to be. It seems to hang a large part of the time (when you open a project or after publication) and publishes often with lots of red boxes instead of my images (even when my high quality setting). Nevertheless, I can work around this problem by emptying the cache, restart my computer etc but I can't seem to get around this last bug!

  For some reason, Captivate and keeps crashing when I try to open the variables window (via the menu at the top and through the window advanced actions). I tried emptying my cache and restarting my computer with no luck.

  I also captivate 5.5 installed, so I tried to open the window of variables in this field and it worked well, but once again, captivate 6 frozen when I went back to try again.

  Has anyone else had this problem before and there at - it a way to stop what is happening? I am running windows 7.

  Hi Rick,

  Try to recreate the 6 Captivate preferences. Then launch Captivate 6 as it is run as an administrator

  If the above suggestion does not work, then install 6 Captivate in a new admin account and test the bheavior of 6 Captivate.

  Avoid using the file > exit or the red X button. On the contrary: press Ctrl + j to display the downloads window, and then use Ctrl + w to close the last remaining tabs. The downloads window should remain open. A little luck?

  I tried running Outlook.exe / resetnavpane because I see it worked for a ton of people - but I got the error message "cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook.  The command line argument is not valid.  Check the switch you are using.

  This is almost always due to:

  1. you have an older version of Outlook that does not have command line switch.  What version of Outlook you have?
  2. you have not put a space between "Outlook.exe" and "/ resetnavpane.

  This Virtual Machine is always recoverable, however if you are only interested in the recovery of data from the user then after reading the following quit VMware Fusion and try to mount the virtual disk to the Virtual Machine using the information below.

  Take a look at: VMware Fusion (menu bar) > help > Search > type VMDKMounter, and then select use VMDKMounter to mount a virtual drive as a Mac Volume

  Notice, ignore the parts on "to add support for reading / writing to NTFS volumes, you need to install NTFS - 3G separately." as it is not necessary for recovering files within the VM using VMDKMounter, because you only need read access to retrieve data from the user.

  After obtaining your user data disassemble the virtual hard disk on the desktop and then after that you want to retrieve the VM using methods from another just let know us and additional directions can be given.

  I have CS5 on windows 7. When I try to open the illustrator of window preferably hangs and does not open it. I can hit escape and it will go back to work very well.   You should consider at least two approaches.

  In catalyst 1.0, you cannot change the font in the Code view. The browser used to preview swf files is the default browser for your system. When you open most of the browsers, they will offer to change your default browser for you, but you can also search online for specific instructions for your operating system.
