Opening a JPEG on my desk

Hello
I changed an option earlier and don't remember what I did.  Now when I double click on a JPEG (ie. picture) on my desktop, photoshop does not open upward to display, but rather-Word opens and asks to convert.  I remember at the time, I choose 'Word' as an option for this, which was a mistake.  Now, I can't return to whereverer that it is the program of the computer automatically uses the 'Photoshop' when I double click on a jpeg file.

How do the window to make this correction?

Thank you
Alan

PS I think this situation causes me problems when I try to save a PDF file with my printer...

    Can anyone help?

you don't need to specify the full path as long as you have the path in your path variable

I think that the problem may be that you are using the wrong program name, I think it's i_view32 not iview32

  • Do not open the JPEG files recovered...

I have quick formatted my E drive. Then I restored data with software. But do not open the JPEG files recovered.

The size of the file is the same. But when I try to open the error "invalid image". I tried almost all viewers but the problem is the same.

How can I open these JPEG files...?

    Help, please...

    Thank you

You can try the JPEG recovery tool, it might be useful. This is normally due to the change in the location of the file once you retrieve the data.

  • Since the update, I can't open a JPEG file: "Could not complete your request because the file was not found."

My subscription to creative cloud updated Photoshop the other day. My iMac is running 10.8.5. Ever since this update, I can't open a JPEG file and get a message indicating "could not complete your request because the file was not found." I'm sure it's related to the update, but how can I cancel it and get things to normal?  (do not include your email)

  • Why can not open a JPEG file in an e-mail message on my computer but I can't do on my smartphone? I'm used to be able to do this before the upgrade to the CD player.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC using newly updated since Adobe Acrobat, I am not able to open a JPEG file in an e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook on my computer but I am able to open the attachment on my smartphone.  I think I used to be able to open a JPEG file before the upgrade.  I don't know what to do.

It's more than likely the problem. The Adobe Acrobat Reader software is not an 'upgrade' to Adobe Acrobat. Acrobat will open and convert .jpg files in PDF, free player open that pdf file.

If you want to 'upgrade' and need this capability, you must update to Acrobat, not reader.

The good news is that you should always have Acrobat on your system. Open it and use it to open the .jpg file.

How can I get my RAW files to open in photoshop?  I use a Sony Alpha NEX - 7 shooting JPEG and RAW.  Open end JPEG but RAW only.

This camera is supported in Camera Raw 6.6 and newer. This means that you need to Photoshop CS5 or newer version to have the support of the camera. What version of Photoshop are you using?

  • Why the Adobe reader won't open my jpeg files?

Why the 11 adobe reader won't open my jpeg files?

    Hi Nassman,

Adobe Reader is a single reading software for PDF files. JPEG is not a supported format that would open in Adobe Reader. You must open the Jpeg in application that supports this file format. (for example, Photoshop, Picture Viewer, MS Paint)

I hope this helps. I would like to know if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards

  • Can I open multiple JPEGs in Adobe Camera Raw?

Hi, it seems that I can't do that - not an option in PE11?  Such a shame otherwise!

I can open a JPEG at a time, or several Raw images in ACR.

Have checked other sources, including Barbara Brundage "The Missing Manual" but while it is not

specifically say you can not, there is still no indication that you can.

    See you soon

No, I didn't say so, because unfortunately you can't. I agree that it is very annoying.
