• Execution of sequential operations to parallel groups of Threads

  I have the following scenario, which must be changed as soon as possible:
  1. a group of sequential threads runs (contains 3-wire)
  2. a sequential group of other threads is running (contains 2-wire)
  3. a group of parallel threads is running (contains 9 wires such as producers and consumers of threads applied properly)
  
  Why I created this scenario?
  To run a particular thread first (point-1: containing 3-wire), after their treatment is done I needed to run another 2-wire (point-2: containing 2 wires). If and only if 1 and 2 points are covered, I required to deal with-3 points.
  
  Initially, I required to run all threads for parallel operations, but I left this idea that parallel threads are run simultaneously.
  
  For the situation described above everything works smoothly until there was a problem.
  
  Why do I need to change the above scenario?
  Sometimes, I get an Exception that can be handled well in the case of parallel threads. While the same Exception if I get in the sequential threads that becomes unmanageable. Since then, all other sequential treatments of threads comes under condition of waiting until the end of the first.
  
  
  So, I need to take advantage of the parallel threads, but I chose this path to be easy which became difficult to handle the situation for the application.
  So, I need to create such a scenario, in which I need to run different parallel threads for a fixed order. For example:
  Order-1 = process the first 3 parallel threads
  Order-2e = process 2 parallel threads
  Order-3e = process the next 9 parallel threads
  
  Also, the above case is somewhat limited, although I need a generic solution for this. As if in the future, I want to add more than 2-wire command-1 or if I remove still some discussions for any order must be execution of the sequence of groups as you want.
  Is it possible in java through which we can make a group of parallel threads that can be executed to order we can specify?

  If you just want to wait for a set of threads end, for example, use a CountDownLatch in the main thread, initialized to the number of threads. The main thread waits then each thread to complete and to warn the latch.

• iOS 10 - auto bluetooth with contact group synchronization

  I have my iPhone 5s coupled to my car bluetooth hands-free system.

  With iOS 9 I was able to sync only certain groups of Contacts from iPhone. It was helpful that I have a number of groups in iPhone Contacts, including one specially created for syncing to my car.

  Since the update of my iPhone to iOS 10, I have that option in the bluetooth settings of the iPhone to check any combination of 'Favorite phone', "Phone Recents" or "All Contacts". None of them are useful for me as I want to synchronize with one of the original groups in Contacts.

  Group Synchronization tab is not yet supported but the developers continue to add new features that can be synchronized (Firefox 11 will support the Sync module), so keep and eye on it.

• Operator privileges does not

  I use TS2014 SP1 (32-bit) and I was wondering if anyone has come across the following:

  I have in my User Manager, an administrator and a user of the operator (operator user and group operator attached).  What I see is that when logged in as an operator, I still all administrator privileges. For example, I can always edit globals station and change users, including the definition of the password for the admin user.  The privilege of the operator is to EditStationGlobals (debug) is set to False, such as changing users (under Setup).

  I tried some actions:

  1 remove the user from the operator

  2. completely out of TestStand, not only close or disconnect

  3. restart TestStand, log in as administrator

  4. Add a new user operator assigned to the Group of operators

  5. Repeat step 2 & 3, but the login as operator

  6. always am able to modify globals users and station

  7. checked group privileges are set to do not allow the global station or user change

  8 tried this method on another installation and works as expected.  The operator cannot change the globals users or station.

  Short of a one-install/re-install, I don't know where else adventure.

  Check user privileges has been set to False in the StationOptions/User Manager

• Benefits of buffer in operation bundle

  I have a program that generates and displays tables big enough 2D (20 + Mb). These paintings is grouped in a cluster as well as other variables, that is defined outside of a loop of matter in order to make available in other cases. See attached vi with an example of this operation. To check if this causes duplication of data, I use "Show buffer Allocations" and she is not allocate a new buffer in the bundle-operation. When I run my program in slow-mo and watch the Mem Usage in Windows Task Manager, it creates a buffer (in the example mem-use increases 24Mo when he gathers the data). It's pretty disappointing because I was hoping an operation to the group stored only a pointer to the data, and this is obviously a bug in LV 8.6.1 since it relate this alloc "display buffer allocations.
   
  Anyone can comment on this statement?

  If its inevitable to no data buffer into a beam, which is the best option to store large networks and at the same time make available to other parts of the program? Should I "litter" the block diagram with local variables?

  As regards passing the aSubVI picture, it reports a buffer alloc. Is it possible to avoid this buffer somehow, like in C, when you pass a pointer to data.

  I think that what you see here is the difference between both allocate a buffer and a resizing.  There is already a buffer allocated for the table in the cluster, but it needs to be resized in order to copy the data generated in the loop for.  I don't know why LabVIEW decides to copy all the data in this case, but you can avoid it by using a structure of the element in place (found in the palette of enforcement under the control of memory), as illustrated below.  Local variables create copies of additional data, if it is certainly not the right solution.  Regarding the subVIs, it depends on the code inside the Subvi.  If the Subvi can act up, he has no copy of data.  There are many, many of the posts here on inplaceness, and what it means for a Subvi to act up.

• create a dynamic group for all virtual machines

  I would like to create separate dynamic groups for all my Windows virtual machines and physical machines of my Windows.  Is it possible to do it via regular expressions?  It is not granular enough to create something like this.  We have vROps that collects a large number of settings of virtual machines as its CPU usage, use of memory and use of the network to name a few.  If I install Hyperic on those virtual machines it will collect the same measures and I'll have to duplicate the data in vROps.  So I would like to have a separate profiles for Win32, CPU, physical disk on file server, etc., for virtual machines and physical machines.  I was going to try using dynamic groups, but I don't think that Hyperic will be able to handle this.  If you have any suggestions or knowledge on this operation through dynamic groups that would be great.

  In UI Hyperic access the platform in platform type choose Win32 and press the green icon. You will see all the windows.

  Now select all platforms and press the 'Group' button > add to the new group

• Cannot select non - Default Business Group the vCAC 6.01 as a cloud provider registration

  Since I'm on a vCAC single tenant deployment, I registered vCAC of the CLI darwin to the lessee 'vSphere.local '.  When you add the vCAC as a cloud provider instance, the vCAC hostname is filled by the record, but the process seems to a group of companies named "Default".  To complete the registration, I created 'Default' Business Group.  However, all rights, reservations, plans, etc. are attributed to different business groups.  The area Business Group is not active, so its not obvious how select a group of different companies.

  Okay, think I thought of her.  Join the vCAC server connection, and then synchronize business groups.  This creates App steering groups.  Then import your LDAP user account that is an administrator of the Business Group on vCAC. assign the role ROLE_CLOUD_ADMIN at least and put them in the AppDir group named for the vCAC business group.  Then log on to AddDir that this LDAP user and add the vCAC Cloud provider.  The business group will be set to the group to which the user is connected.

  I'm building a custom ICF connector that is implemented as a set of .net. Operations UpdateChildTableValues for add and update on the groups pass the group name in the code, but the deletion does not. Seems not be an indication of the operation itself, for groups seems that the developer must manage memberships to a target group in the code, which is good. However, if a deletion does not send the name of the group, how can I know which group still look? It seems that this method also adds the load of API calls against IOM to identify the assignment to a group of the user as well as the search for targets to compare and decide which has been deleted.

  You have 2 options when working with children tables:

  (1) use ICProvisioningManager #updateChildTableValues - this provides a list of the values after the update, so we'll say so that the attribute has values group1, group2, group 3, remove group1, then UpdateOp #update with the attribute values Group2, GROUP3 will be called on your connector (in this case your connector should implement UpdateOp). You're right, it could mean additional targets API call in your connector (depending on the target).

  (2) use ICProvisioningManager #addChildTableValue, ICProvisioningManager #updateChildTableValue, ICProvisioningManager #removeChildTableValue - when you use these methods, the connector will get changes only. Previous UpdateAttributeValuesOp #removeAttributeValues with the value group1 in the example would be called on your connector. You connector must implement UpdateAttributeValuesOp to make it work.

  How to work with groups of filters?
  
  I have a filter that has a big GOLD operation and two groups with AND statements. I need to add more conditions for groups of filters, but, every time I add a new condition, it is out of use and never goes to the filter I need to.

  Sometimes you just have to play to get the 'model' of how to group and ungroup the filters to get the exact configuration you want. Once you have created blocks of "ANDS" and "Gold" for your filters, it can get a little tricky. But here are a few tips:

  If the new filter that you want to include in a subgroup, first add the filter in the usual way. It will appear on the bottom. Then click on the box "" to the right and click "cut." Now, click on the box of the filter you want to this new filter to go directly below and click 'paste '.

  The easiest way to insert a filter in the exact spot is sometimes it separate filters, add the filter and group them in the way that you want. It is difficult to describe other than that, so feel free to put the 'dirty' hand and try it yourself.

  It is a small problem that I can't solve.
  
  I can create a Group Admin in SS that will be synchronized in environmental assessments. The issue is users of synchronization of group as the type of user no admin as expected.
  
  Is this normal, I'm trying just to make a provision of the admins by a group instead of each user
  
  I tried to create an aboriginal group and add users in this way with the same results. I see Admin groups, but users are still.

  If you look at the EAS group then it should appear as an administrator, then all users assigned to this group will have administrator privileges.
  It displays not each user as administrator just as a user that is the way it works.
