  I guess you'll have to manually lower the file full resolution first. I would ' t think that any application would just go and take it automatically from the Cloud. You may need to check if you have not already.

  

• Windows 8.1 update 1 will not optimize the C drive

  Omni 27-1210xt CTO all-in-one running Windows 8.1 update 1.  Built-in Windows defragmentation is set to optimize all readers on an automatic calendar and all drives are recognized and controlled in defragmentation Scheduler.  When optimization is executed, all drives are defragmented except for the "C" drive - it is simply ignored - and I have manually optimize the drive 'C '.

  I also have a HP lappy, 15-d030nr, also running Windows 8.1 update 1 and it has the same problem - defrag ignores the 'C' drive, but will optimize all readers.

  I tried a few third-party defrag programs and they will be defragmenting drive 'C '.  However, these programs don't recognize not all readers.

  I'm puzzled.  There is no error in the case where the spectator and CHKDSK comes up clean.  Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

  You can read this threadMS.  There are a few possibilities and work around the issue.

  I wouldn't get too worried, because the size of cache built into recent drives somewhat mitigates most performance problems.

• Optimize the creation of large INDB exported as an interactive PDF

  I'm running into some problems of speed when creating an InDesign book that is exported as an interactive PDF.  This process is be script using JSX and running on a server of InDesign CC.  I tried various combinations of settings for interactivePDFExportPreferences, and which none does not seem to make a difference.  I don't think that it takes as long InDesign to create the book itself, most of the time is spent by exporting it as an interactive PDF.

  Some background information, a PDF page 'unique' for each page of the publication has already been created.  Most pages also took - what I call a superposition of hyperlink - another created INDD file containing rectangles with hyperlinks.  Each 'page PDF' is then imported into a new INDD and if there is a corresponding "hyperlink overlay" then it is duplicated on the top of the "single page PDF", then the result is recorded as a new INDD. The result is then an INDD for each page in the publication that will be used in the creation of the InDesign book.

  Now that we have an InDesign doc for each page we create an INDB script and that will be exported as an interactive PDF.  Here comes my question.  Someone has suggestions to optimize the creation of a book of InDesing that is exported as an interactive PDF?  The PDF file takes a little over half an hour to create just for a 80 page publication.  Some of our publications are 300 + pages, so the time it takes to create this size of a book and export to PDF is unacceptable.

  I would also like to note that the interactive PDF file that has been exported from InDesign book will be used with 3D issue online.  Added hyperlinks - hence the need for the interactive PDF - link ads/announcements in our publication on the 3D issue to the respective pieces of the inventory on our Web sites.

  Another solution, I'm currently entertaining is thread creation of the InDesign book and splitting it up which would result in several small interactive PDF which then I would write something to combine them into a single PDF file.

  Thanks for the reply.  I agree, the script itself is not the issue.  I was hoping that someone out there knew a small export/parameter preferably that would help me.  I know that the quality of some graphics or even PDF files would reduce the time it takes.  Reduce the quality of the graphics and the PDF output have been attempted.  However, 3D issue allows Zoom and when the output quality was reduced and a user zooms in it looks pretty bad.  Also, it doesn't give me enough compromise time/quality to justify reducing the quality.

  However, I have found another solution.  PDFsharp is a great open source solution.  Instead of creating all INDDs using InDesign, create an INDB and export to a PDF file.  I can now create PDF files in the first place and use .NET and the PDFsharp library to combine all of the PDF files in a single PDF file.  This is a lot faster and without any sacrifice of quality!  I wish I would have looked into this type of solution before you spend hours trying to find a way to optimize the creation of the INDB.

• Muse optimizes the file original because my pictures in a slide show resizing after I used the image several times.

  IIF I import a picture in my website and make a small size then when I create a slide show and add this photo to my computer it comes too little each time. It's like Muze optimizes the original photo and it's very frustrating. I have to open the picture in Photoshop and save it again to fix it. Very annoying. Is this corrected?

  Muse does not affect the original image, but it maintains a copy of the original. You can check by locking the original image file to prevent the Muse to touch.

  Muse perform optimization at the time export/publish founded the most important instance of the image in the project. In this case, when you re-import the image, Muse is incorrectly assuming that you want the new image at the same size as the first instance which you resized more small. We will study this fixation behavior in the next version, but in the meantime, there is a solution.

  Rather than open the image in Photoshop and resave, which changes the date of the change of the image and the Muse of signals re - import image, try double click until the picture is selected. The selection handles will be smaller and solid, if you have the selected image. The handles will be bigger and more hollow if a container is selected. Resize the image to the desired dimensions. Initially, the image will be pixelated because Muse is always using the already optimized copy. However, if you choose file-> Preview in the browser Page, the image will be optimized for new dimensions and you should see a newer version of resolution in both the browser and on your page in the Muse.

  You can more easily check the behavior of optimization as follows:

  1 place an image to 25% of its original size.

  2. Select the file-> Preview in the browser Page, which will optimize the image to the size of 25%.

  3 duplicate the placed image and resize the duplicate to be twice as big (i.e. 50% of the original). Initially, this duplicate will blur after resizing.

  4. Select the file-> Page Preview in the browser, which will be re - optimize image and redraw at a higher resolution.

  I'm looking for a way to optimize a page slider several created with edge animate CC, it is currently works well on the latest such as iphone 4S etc devices but nothing more really Caryl, the scenario (which I'm sure is a common very) is:

  I have an Edge animate file where I created a several cursor page where each page is a symbol that contains sub symbols which slide on the page and the old slides for symbol page, content off the page, there is a decent amount of animation in a loop on each page.  The total size of the cursor, images etc. code is about 800 k total. There is no other content on the page, just this slider.

  The problem seems to be that each symbol page there sub symbol and its content are active and continue to animate even when they are more on the stage so it would seem that it is treating all 7 pages at a time, instead of just active page/symbol and its current content.

  So my question is: Y at - it a simple way to optimize the edge so that it does not receive and treat a symbol/Page current and it is void / symbols/content at the same time? Or am I wrong somehow on the use of the off scene processing / page content?

  Hi, Jeff.

  There is a way to load and unload the symbols dynamically, which can solve your problem.  That being said, this method would not solve your problem of payload to the initial download, but that would mean that your symbols do not play in the background.  Before you try this, have you tried simply to stop the animation of your symbol when you Exchange to another?  It means a little more work in your scripts, but remove dynamic symbols has its own complexities as well.

Now, I clicked on "Download and keep the originals", but I can't tell if my phone is re - download the original photos/videos to iCloud to my phone. What does automatically or are these pictures forever in the version "optimized" on my phone?

  Try these settings.

  Access the routers admin pages.  Connect via a wired computer to 192.168.1.1 with your browser, the empty user name, the password "admin" (everything that you change too).

  Disable UPnP.  Under settings wireless Beacon interval 75, RTS and Fragmentation threshold to 2304.  Try channel 1 or 11.  Save the settings and reconnect.

• Optimize the Signal?

  I have a WRT54G2 1.5 version...  I wonder if there is a way to optimize the signal because I still have a low when the Xbox Live connection or using my iPod Touch when I'm hence my router is downstairs.  Re-creation of the router is sometimes useful, but not as much as I'd like.

  Connect the computer to the Ethernet 1 port router with the Ethernet cable.

  Open the Internet browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1 . Connect to the router configuration page. the default password of the router of admin, leave the empty user name.

  Click the wireless set the configuration found in the manual. Change the channel to 11 wireless. Save the settings.

  Click settings wireless Advanced tab change the tag to 75 interval, RTS threshold to 2307 and threshold of fragmentation at 2306. Save the settings. Cycle power to the router.

  Try to connect to the wireless network. Check if it works.

  No, it works well on its own. Less you hit, the better. 3 party registry cleaners and optimizers should be used with caution by people with advance knowledge on the subject. More 3rd party (most, not all) optimizers are causing problems more than fix. Remove unnecessary programs, defrag automatically or auto (so HARD, not so SSD drive), run Disk Clean up, clear Temp folder.

  I am trying to create a quizz.db file in the current folder by creating first a temporary quizz.db in the folder data and then creating tables inside and then copy it in the current folder.   If activate the commented "If" condition of "copyFileToAssetsFolder" int he removes already created quizz.db file in the current folder (that Im unable to find) and goes inside the next ' if' and copy the quizz.db created on the folder "data" of active fodler. • Clear the cache of the asset?

  I have a json file that I use as a database and I find that when I change the values through Momentics and try to redeploy the application on the device of Dev Alpha, he does not pick up the new version of the asset. It seems that it is caching the old version.

  I am running Windows 8 Pro. I can't optimize my SSD. I read online that I should be able to click on "Optimize" and who would send my SSD TRIM data in order to improve its performance.   Went to Windows "Optimizing disks", click on optimizing, but he said "Value is not available" and then the button "Optimize" changed in gray.

  When I manually ran the automatic Maintenance (Control Panel > Action Center > maintenance > start maintenance), I noticed a lot of reading and writing for the SSD during the maintenance process.  So I opened 'Optimize the readers' and he has done exactly as she was running the Disk Defragmenter (despite it, grateful that he was a Solid State Drive).  I looked in the resource monitor to see what that wrote for the SSD and I don't remember the exact name of the process, but it was something with defrag in the name.  I had already done Windows Experience Index before that, then Windows knew that an SSD has been installed and it showed as such under 'média Type', so I don't know why it was running a disk defragmentation.

  I just ran the automatic Maintenance again, but this time it doesn't seem to be running defrag as it did the first time I ran it.  But, it continues to display "Value is not available" to optimize disks.

  Then, when he says "Value is not available", which means exactly?  DisableDeleteNotify showing 0 (indicating the PAD is on), but is windows sends always TRIM wants the SSD or not?
