Perhaps the solution would be to convert the MPEG to
the format WMA before you import into Movie Maker.

  • Why is there no audio after importing video movie maker?

I also installed windows 7 and now I get also hear no sound when I import video with windows movie maker. I really hope this can be fixed.

    Hello Baker,

Thanks for posting on the Community Forums of Microsoft Vista.

You can try to disable the restore default setting filters and check if you are able to get the audio when you try to create a movie in movie maker.

To restore the default settings, follow the steps below:

    1. open Windows Movie maker

    2. click on tools and then click Options.

    3. click on the Compatibility tab.

    4. to restore the default list, click on restore all the default values and click Ok.

When you restore the default settings, the list and the filters settings are given to the last known good setting.

Also if you have everything installed any third-party application to create movies try to uninstall it and check if you are able to view the movie in Windows Movie maker.

If the steps above do not work, try to disable the whole filter in Windows movie maker and check if it works.

To disable the filter follow the steps below:

    1. open Windows Movie maker

    2. click on tools and then click Options.

    3. click on the Compatibility tab.

    4. uncheck the box all the listed filter and click OK.

    It will be useful.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip
(FWIW... installation..., you might want to
Uncheck all of the boxes on the last screen)

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

  • Importing video in Vista using the Panasonic PV-DV910 camcorder

I'm trying to import video from my camcorder in Vista using Windows Movie Maker and it gives me an error saying: "import video could not find a compatible digital camera...". "My camcorder is on, on the way to VCR, connected with a Firewire 800 ExpressCArd adapter. My computer sees the Firewire. I went through all the troubleshooting. I searched many Web sites. Some recommend a registry cleaning, I don't want to do another source. Can someone help me? Thank you!

    Hello Mtkamom,

Thanks for posting on the Community Forums of Microsoft Vista.

You can follow the steps below and check if your camcorder is detected by the computer.

    1. click on start
    2. in the start search box type "devmgmt.msc" then press the Enter key.
    3. in the Device Manager, check if you are able to see the "IEEE 1394 Bus host controller" and that it works correctly.

If this is the case, you can try a different cable or on another computer to make sure that the camcorder and the cables are good?

If this does not work you can pull out the card, remove the card Firewire Device Manager or uninstall it and put it in and reinstall. You can also try to temporarily disable any security software installed on the computer and try to check if your computer detects the camcorder.

Also, you can try to contact Panasonic to see if they have any updates on this issue or a new software to install on the computer.

    It will be useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

Hello, I'm new to Flash and I try to import a video, but the option "import video" is not available. How can I change this?

You must use the HTML5 Canvas document type that does not support for videos from now on.

If you want to import video in Flash project, Goto file > new... and select Actionscript 3.0

How to import video into adobe muse?

If you want to embed videos in your muse site, without using a service like youtube or vimeo, so you will need to download the video files on the server manually and use them via the video tag in html5, HTML5 Vidéo

To insert the video tags in your pages of muse, you can use the option "object-> Insert HTML code.

Because this option is not available in Muse, out of the box, I would recommend that you post it on our ideas here, https://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideassection, and let our team of devs know this requirement.

  • Import video Looping on iPad

I imported a video (mp4) on a Captivate slide.  It works fine on a desktop browser, but on the iPad iOS7 video starts a loop for a few seconds, then it stops and moves to the next slide.

I don't see the option on 'looping' imported videos mp4 in the properties panel.  Is there a way to make this stop?

I am using Captivate 6 on a Windows 7 computer.

Here is a link to the video if you want to see the problem on slide 3 of first-hand an iPad.

    Jim

In fact, I tested it myself, Dan.  I downloaded the trial version 7 Captivate and the video still looping on the iPad even if it's just a slide.

Looks like I'll recommend 'no upgrade to Captivate 7' to my officers and the team until this bug is fixed.

I need to import video and music in slideshows in Muse.  In slideshow option, the import HTML option is not highlighted.  Other ways we need to... find a plug in, and sim.  Any ideas?

    Hello

Instead of using the widget slide show here, please use the Widgets for Composition. In the widget of composition, you can inert HTML or any object.

Slidehsow widgets allow only the option to add images.

  • Can't import video into Flash Pro CS5

I can't import video in Flash Professional CS5.  I tried all sorts of things for days without success. I used Adobe Media Encoder to convert a video into a format that can be imported into Flash. My source was a VOB (it's a Pal Source) I have been using game source presets and tried others too.  I think I've managed to convert the video for both FLV and F4V formats.  They play well with Adobe Media Player.  However, when I try to import (file-import-open external library (get the screen of the Wizard), click Browse on the option of your computer, select the file, exit load video with playback component, then continue hit and continue to hit on the screen following after select the default skin and pressing on continue on the next page and finish on the next page) , I get the error tab out Flash that says: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound: Adobe Flash tried to read a live feed or recorded, that does not exist." Source was not found. "No matter what I try, I get the same message.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.   I have searched all over the web for a solution to this problem with nothing doesn't.

    Thank you

    Kirk

Open the file browser > navigate to the directory that contains your flv/f4v > right click > click Properties > confirm that she has more than 0 bytes.

If it does create a new directory and move your flv/f4v to the new directory.  create a new fla and save it to the newly created the directory that contains your flv/f4v and repeat your import steps.

  • Prime Minister - imported videos show slow images, audio plays perfect

    Hello!

I recently stumbled on this after a reinstallation of my system. I have Pro CS4 first (with the latest updates, tried without updates as well) and the 64 bit version of Windows 7 (completely up to date).

    Here's the deal:

After I created a new project, I leave everything intact, select only 1080 resolution NTSC (or PAL). I have imported video clips (has each audio and video clip), I want to work with. This import is fast and not mistakes... but when I really want to work with clips (for example: double click to start at the edge he or dragging to the timeline) what is happening:

Audio play perfectly... but the video is like 1 images / 60 seconds or more. While the audio is just fine video plays really slow almost like a support of still images. And so, the length of a video on the timeline is correct the audio, but I get not even 4-5 frames of fotage video before the end of the clip. To sum up: video and audio is really out of step, but in a weird twisted way. Audio OK, increased or reduced speed is detectable, but the video (same btw) is not like that. He shows me some pictures before the time of the end of the clip.

Is this a problem with the import?
    If yes how to correct?
What kind of question is this?
    How to fix?

    Any ideas?

    My system features:

    Intel E8600 (3, 16GHz)
    8 GB RAM DDR3

    Gigabyte EX48T-DQ6 motherboard
His Ati Radeon HD 4870 x 2 Vcard with 2 GB memory GDDR5
    Sound Blaster Xi-fi
Optional integrated sound card (it doesn't help either)
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit version

All my drivers are up to date, windows is up-to-date adope first pro cs4 is ORIGINAL! and up to date
Disk Fragmentation per week, using Eset Smart Security 4 (so far) and cleaning registry windows every week.

First of all uninstall each codec pack, you have already installed, unless you just reformat your hard drive, then reinstall Windows and programs.

Then, convert it any codec's in there (Divx, XVid or other) AVI DV Ms type2. Use Google to find a suitable converter. Accept the quality hit you will suffer, but it is inherent in attempting to change broadcast formats, which were used exclusively to watch, is not editing.

  • Import videos: camera roll videos vs app

Hello. I just discovered that it is possible to import videos into the film or the video app. I wonder if one of these methods is better than the other? The only advantage of the app videos until now, I've noticed, is that it shows some details about the video (for example, the size, the resolution).

If you want to watch movies or videos, that app videos would be better in my opinion, because things can get jumbled in the film.
