OptiPlex 760 SFF power supply at the end of LIFE?

After ordering a few supplies(H235P-00) of power for some 760's I have, I got a message that Dell has no more of them and they are EOL.

After searching around, I can't find a compatible replacement part and cannot find more information. I have more than 40 of these PC, and it seems that the power supplies are at that age where they are close to the default. I lost 3 in the last 2 months and I need to make a plan to keep these PC permanently. Budget cuts make it almost impossible for me to buy new equipment.

  • Someone at - it no indication on the State of this power supply?
  • Is there a compatible replacement that I can use which is not listed as compatible?
  • Reference Dell account source this power out to 3rd manufacturers so that we can have the compatible PSU in the future?
I was appreciate any help you could give.

  • How to change the power supply to the CD/DVD drive so that it is disabled by default?

When running on battery I often use the icon 'Remove hardware safely' XP to 'unplug' the carpet * CD/DVD drive for Safe some battery life. (Does?) I use Fn + Tab to bring back to life. I wonder if there is a way to make my boot Notebook (M400) with the power supply to the reader off by default. Moreover, any idea where I can find the extra battery for the slot of the CD/DVD player and who the price?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello, Robert

If you see the start page, you will see that this support forum is not a type of support Toshiba directly but forum users. But you're not alone and many users expect that a Toshiba support team sit in the office and before writing the answers.

In any case, there are many users of Toshiba laptops with very good knowledge and also amateurs who are trying to help the other guys in different problems and also to share own experience.

Professionalism is not the forum but action when you need help because of physical damage or something similar. If you need assistance and competent answers each authorized partner must be able to provide the info you need. But please don t mixture and Toshiba service partner because it is not the same.

In any case, I found the info you can use additional (second battery expansion) and it takes batteries with PA3510U-1BAL, PA3510U-1BRL room numbers. I can't tell you how much it costs, but you will find only using Google.

Back to your first question: if I understand you just want to save more power and because of this, you want to sign out ODD. It's a nice idea, but you have clearly misunderstood something. "Safely Remove Hardware option is there to help the operating system and and say this material, a part will be removed and don t exist anymore, but it does not physically the disconnection of any other material."

If you need more power use a second battery and enjoy your life.

If you have any other questions you are welcome. A lot of users here M400 and I hope in the future that some of them will participate in a little more.

    Good day! :)

  • do you need a power supply to the current entry with data acquisition or 9265

Hello I just receive the NI 9265 Daq for research in my lab. I'm trying to present entry and display it on an oscilloscope. I don't get anything. I did some research on the internet, so my question is do you need a power supply to the current entry with data acquisition or 9265?

Read the data sheet.  Clearly on the first page is a sentence which reads "the NI 9265 requires 9 V to 36 V external power.

  • Will be - this safe to use XP behind a firewall after the end of LIFE?

I have a netbook that I use as an external 1 TB NAS with a hard drive device on my LAN.  I use it also for connection of MagicJack.  I have a firewall in my router and the only thing that that accesses this machine online is updated antivirus and places / receives calls from Magic Jack.  I don't respect the minimum specifications for Windows 7.

If I keep this machine behind the firewall and prevent web access, it will be safe to stay with XP after the end of life?  MagicJack is a security breach?  My only other option is to switch to a Linux distribution, but I need to configure to run on a Windows network and it seems that you have to do back flips to get the MagicJack to work on Linux.
    Any advice will be appreciated.

End of the security updates is something much more...

antivirus support, but again, you are not protected completely...

What link should I plug my USB 2 plug in my power supply for my MBP 13 '' end 2011...

None of them. The USB ports on your MacBook Pro are not designed to provide a high current to charge a power supply.

In case you were keen to use it to power your MacBook Pro, you should know that your MacBook Pro will not charge or run a USB power supply.

    Hello

I am trying to connect to a power supply of Sorensen XEL60 - 1.5 P. I have its IP address and port number, but I'm stuck on an error 63, cited at the end I tried the advice in this forum and online without success, including:

Nothing improves the situation. What I will try?

    Thank you very much

    Error 63:

LabVIEW: The network connection was refused by the server. For TCP/IP, make sure that the server is running and listening on the port you want to use. Firewalls can also cause a server to refuse a connection. To VI Server, make sure that you have enabled the server from VI tools > Options > VI Server.

No reason to be a donkey to people asking for advice. I tried UKRAINE by the boards, conscientiously the profit and loss account.

I can actually get the power supply to operate on the VISA. It needed fixed two bugs, in the case where others are interested:

    * Setting VI_ATTR-TERMCHAR_EN to VI_TRUE

    * Creation of the resource VISA under the 'manual entry of the raw socket"rather than one of the other two. This is necessary because I'm trying to communicate via a specified port.

So I'm fine now, I just can't pass strings directly via IP and port that I thought I should. It may be a device-specific problem, but I'm always interested in other thoughts.

    Thank you

  • OptiPlex 755 dafault power supply for disk HARD 3

Hello all, I have this Optiplex 755 DT and I use it as a media server. So far I used two hard drives by removing the optical unit. I have read forums and I think I can add a third HARD drive since there is at least one available sata (the other seems to be reserved for the optical drive) but my concern is the power supply because it has only two sata power cables. I know I could use a splitter but I was wondering if the power supply can produce enough power for three 7200 HARD drives / a PCI express x 16 video card.

    Hi jigzat,

Hard disks use very little energy. OEM power will have no harm to manage another drive in your 755. So the idea of splitter is fine.

  • Power supply on the Pavilion a6614f?

I want to buy this desktop computer and add a Nvidia GeForce 9600 video card, which requires a 400W power supply, but I can't find any info on what the computer is supplied with power supply. Any help?

The HP Pavilion a6330f PC at home has a 300 Watt PSU.  You will need to replace it.  My recommendation:

    http://www.Antec.com/USA/productDetails.php?LAN=us & ID = 27430

    Available here: http://www.directron.com/ea430.html

  • I have a p6210f (Win 7), that does not illuminate. As recommended, I tried a new power supply with the same results.

In my post in November, I explained that I had tested the power supply with a multimeter and read the correct voltage. Two people to the Board of Directors always seem to think it was the power supply, so I replaced it with a new one (Corsair CX 430 R) and it still won't turn. I had suspected the power switch because when I bypass the MOBO 20 pin plug 'on', the power led lights up, fans have come on short and I heard the rotation of the disk. I also tried to troubleshoot the switch by jumpering the pins on the motherboard, but still no luck. Someone there ideas more before I replace the card MOTHER and CPU? Thanks in advance.

    Roamstead

    Cloud_strider,

Thanks for the reply. After swapping the PSU, CPU, taking the RAM pins on jumping on the MOBO for power/LED/reset button, each separately and with the same result, I eventually swapped the MOBO to an ASRock A785GM - THE and who did! He finally put under tension. Thanks again.

  • Can I switch from a graphics without a new power supply on the Pavilion p6120t?

Have your desktop Pavilion p6120t with power supply 250w... I was wondering if any of "recommended" card graphic 512 MB (GeForce G210, Radeon HD4350 and nVidia GeForce GT 120) would be OK with 250 watts?

MC, I would be very skeptical about upgrading the video card without upgrading the PSU.  250W POWER simply do not have the power to run a more powerful video card.

  • SAT L500D does not have to be connected to the power supply until the reboot

    Hi all

I have a L500D, purchased locally and I have a problem that seems to escape correction by the helpdesk of Toshiba. My laptop while operating on battery comes with messages expected that the battery has x % remaining and suggests I plug the laptop into the power supply. I connect the laptop on the adapter and the power of the taskbar icon indicates the adapter is plugged in but it also shows that it does not load (adapter also remains cold, indicating no power is being developed). Low battery messages continue until the laptop stops ultimately. On commissioning again the laptop acknowledges that she attached to the adapter sector and charges upward.

Helpdesk from Toshiba said a new BIOS version had been released and that I should update the BIOS and would probably "fix the problem". Went to the Australian Site and there is no other choice to see downloads for this model L500D [product number], helpdesk then took me on the European site where I updated the BIOS, then spent several hours on the phone with Symantec trying to uninstall and reinstall Norton 360, which ceased its activities and could not be uninstalled leaving my laptop not protected.

Someone at - it an idea of what is the cause and how it might be remedied? Appreciate your thoughts.

    Hello

If you have updated the BIOS and the help of t n right?
Hmm I think that this problem of card mother s that looks like the adapter does not work correctly because everything is ok after new reboot
I think the laptop is under warranty and you should get in touch with a local ASP to discover exactly what s wrong

But I think that it s motherboard related question

  • connect the power supply to the doors

    Hello

I don't use logic (74HC and other HCT... CMOS) gates that often, but when I use it connects not always the same pattern and provision.

When put doors on my diagram, there is no visible electrical connection, so I can not connect myself.

for example, I have a Council with two parts divided by optocouplers, allows appeal an entry and part of the output.

The input part has its own power supply 5V, and the fact the part output.

When I place a HC138 on the entrance and the other on the output, how to hit their supplies (in a simple way)?

    Johan

Right click on any door, the properties, the pines, you see the VCC and GND in the layouts of the cell, click the cell and type the name of net as + 5V or whether your power nets are there.  It will then connect them as you wish.  Its a bad system, but it works.  There should be a door of indicated power, but for some reason, OR don't come this way and it is very annoying and in the land of PCB, can be a vital mistake if care is not taken to this 'small' detail.  Kind regards

  • Change of power supply for the Alienware Aurora r4

Hello, since my diet is reel whining I would change it

I was looking for a bit of the PSU and found this one

    http://www.EVGA.com/products/product.aspx?PN=210-GQ-0850-v1

is it good?, fit into the section of PSU aurora r4? It will connect to the back plastic, that normal power supply is connected to the rear?

Also I don't know anything about sata cables, but there so much that normal power supply I mean it will be able to connect to what it is now? (only the change requiring more sata is the addition of two extra hdd/ssd (there was a spare sata cables))

and... I need something more than that? (some wires or something?

I have not wand to buy the same PSU again because seeing how it survived...

Hello. I will address this, knowing that other users information. Your old harness case will be removed, the new chassis will have its own cables. The EVGA 850 GQ is ok, but the G2 is better, you can find them on Newegg / eBay / EVGA.com etc.

I posted here, p4 #31, a list of links to swap & material, then go ahead, some links redirect here, like this:

No - ALX a front SATA, so work of any type of SATA cable

    Chassis rear a SATA ALX

who need some type of head SATA short height, like the originals

    • ALX not can use either type, due before access
    • ALX must use 'pass-thru' heads, like the originals, if the power is connected to the wall box

EVGA uses these types of base with non - ALX SATA heads

    "standard heads.

above, my Corsair cable has ALX-type amp heads:

    • the plastic is a two-piece, the rear insulation snaps off the coast
    • in an ALX installation, with the cable above, I would jump off the top, cut the wire to length, & apply two heads on it to mimic the original as close as possible

If I had the EVGA SATA type?, I want to buy x 4 amp heads online:

Note the two types of rear covers: "cap" (for superior insulation) & pass-thru-cap

I would use these to "build" my own pair of cables to match the original cable pair, best I could. I could just shop any spare cable to amp heads, like here. My ALX has a set of hand-made cable, I already have the SATA cable mod, so they mimic the original case harness. Chassis no - ALX may not be no need for this type of care

Search "Power of Aurora" (Exchange of Aurora psu) or similar terms, search for images which could connect you to the messages posted by other users

    • not that X-Fire / SLI configs do best when using flat ribbon cables
    • EVGA uses sleeved around cables, cable so better manage you can

"" All ATX power supplies are 5.9 "x 3.4", it's length is variable, & 'all' chassis PSU "should" adapt Aurora R1 - R4, with a chassis length 7.5"(190 mm) & shorter: example EVGA G2 is 7.1" length = ok, & my Seasonic 1250 is 7.5 "length, about maximum a person wants. Please read everything in all the links I already posted in, I won't be able to help beyond what I posted here. The G2 if it feels right for your case & know-how (=
