    Read the data sheet.  Clearly on the first page is a sentence which reads "the NI 9265 requires 9 V to 36 V external power.

  • Need Win XP drivers for the Satellite A100 bought in Malaysia

    Hi all

    I bought this A100 (PSAAKL-00E002) in Malaysia. Here's the specs

    * Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core Processor T2060
    (1.73 GHz, 1 MB L2 Cache, 533 MHz FSB)
    * Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic
    * 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM
    * 80 GB SATA HDD
    * DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive (drive/RAM)
    * Screen 15.4 "WXGA TFT display
    * ATI Radeon® Xpress 200 M, up to 128 MB shared VRAM
    * Built-in wireless 802. 11 b / g
    * 56 kbps Modem
    * 10/100 Mbps Ethernet

    and move to 1 GB MB RAM currently.

    I sometimes get a BSOD in Vista Basic. Not that frequent but occasionally BSOD. I felt that the new Vista is a little sensitive to any change in drivers. For example. screnario: I bought a new mouse, plug it in and it will start is installed. After you have installed the mouse drivers, I went into control panel of-> mouse to change some settings... Well... BSOD... :(

    So I decided to downgrade to Win XP Pro instead. I managed to install everything except the graphic card drivers: ATI Radeon® Xpress 200 M.

    I tried to download on all the Toshiba site, but none of them works. I even tried to download from the ATI site itself. Whenever I try to install the drivers it pushes me, missing "INF".

    For VISTA, here is the list of drivers and applications that must be installed

    Sun Java 2 Runtime Environment
    Chipset ATI UMA software and display driver
    Realtek ALC861 Audio driver
    Synaptics TouchPad Driver
    Cable LAN Driver Realtek
    ENE1410 Cardbus driver
    TOSHIBA software modem
    Driver Lan Atheros 802.Wireless wireless
    Toshiba Extended Tiles for Windows Mobility Center
    TOSHIBA Value Added Package
    TOSHIBA hardware setup
    TOSHIBA supervisor password
    TOSHIBA Assist
    TOSHIBA ConfigFree
    Silent acoustic CD/DVD

    I managed to install all the mention above under XP, with the exception of "UMA Driver Chipset ATI Software and display.

    Now, I'm not sure that the missing 'inf' refers to the chipset or display driver

    Anyone has any idea where I can download a compatible graphics driver for Win XP PRO?

    Hi guys

    I think it s not a driver issue but probably the additional memory module is not 100% compatible or defective.
    So I really recommend using the modules recommended by Toshiba.

  • How to change the power supply to the CD/DVD drive so that it is disabled by default?

    When running on battery I often use the icon 'Remove hardware safely' XP to 'unplug' the carpet * CD/DVD drive for Safe some battery life. (Does?) I use Fn + Tab to bring back to life. I wonder if there is a way to make my boot Notebook (M400) with the power supply to the reader off by default. Moreover, any idea where I can find the extra battery for the slot of the CD/DVD player and who the price?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello, Robert

    If you see the start page, you will see that this support forum is not a type of support Toshiba directly but forum users. But you're not alone and many users expect that a Toshiba support team sit in the office and before writing the answers.

    In any case, there are many users of Toshiba laptops with very good knowledge and also amateurs who are trying to help the other guys in different problems and also to share own experience.

    Professionalism is not the forum but action when you need help because of physical damage or something similar. If you need assistance and competent answers each authorized partner must be able to provide the info you need. But please don t mixture and Toshiba service partner because it is not the same.

    In any case, I found the info you can use additional (second battery expansion) and it takes batteries with PA3510U-1BAL, PA3510U-1BRL room numbers. I can't tell you how much it costs, but you will find only using Google.

    Back to your first question: if I understand you just want to save more power and because of this, you want to sign out ODD. It's a nice idea, but you have clearly misunderstood something. "Safely Remove Hardware option is there to help the operating system and and say this material, a part will be removed and don t exist anymore, but it does not physically the disconnection of any other material."

    If you need more power use a second battery and enjoy your life.

    If you have any other questions you are welcome. A lot of users here M400 and I hope in the future that some of them will participate in a little more.

    Good day! :)

    H8 1414 HP envy. Need more power supply to run a better graphics card. I don't have that power 300 watt need more someone knows a number of room and the place to get one that fits? I know that windows 8 makes it difficult, I am ready to install windows seven anyway.

    Nick, welcome to the forum.

    You can use any standard ATX power supply unit (PSU).  I always recommend measuring the PSU existing and comparing measures to whichever you choose, however.  I love Corsair products.  Also, I recommend at least 500W; 600W is even better for future updates.

    Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • Need new power supply for my HP p6210y

    Hello

    I have a HP p6210y (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01859864) and I need to upgrade the power supply for the Radeon HD 4890 I have now. I am reviewing the PSU below. However, the dimensions are actually smaller than my current diet. Who's going because of my problems in terms of ride it properly in the case?

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817338038

    If this will cause problems, can anyone suggest a power supply (it's the exact size as my current) which would be suitable for my graphics card. I need "500W with two connectors to power 75W 6-pin PCI Express.

    Thank you!

    I believe that the PSU is designed for a different style of the case. Discover the Corsair CX500, or CX600 power supplies. They are highly recommended and are favorite forum. In addition, they are only slightly larger than the stock power supply HP and are known to adapt.

    I have a Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless Base Station. MN-700. I need a power supply. I want to know if it is 12 v ac or dc?

    I expect 12 VDC...

    That said you will have to also make sure that the polarity of the plug of the adapter is correct, IE. Center positive or Center negative.

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarity_symbols

    These guys here claim to have one available for sale...

    http://www.unitedsale.com/AC-adapter-for-FA-4A110-Foxlink-12V-1A-Microsoft-MN-500-MN-700-router-brand-New_p_329.html

    As Mike well your really better off upgrading to a newer device that would support encryption WPA2 IMHO...

  • Power supply to the Pavilion HPE 410y?

    Hello my fellow forum members! : I would like to know if I can take the PSU & replace it with any power supply as a 750 - 1kW model or am I limited to the model 300w HP sells? just in case where he either died or I want to get a better video card.

    I would be very appreciated

    Thank you

    spacechild

    Hi spacechild,

    Be careful with a PSU over 650 watts.  There were messages on this forum where large power supply has failed.

    I don't know why you need a power supply that is 750 watts or more, but the Corsair HX 650 could you fit a need.

    Do you think that the replacement of the it's an ideal first project?  Please inform honestly.

    Thank you

    It is quite another thing. It is not an internal power supply but the power module.

    This is the part you need:

    part

    It is the repair:

    Manual

    You don't need to weld anything. You open the laptop, remove the old module and replace with a new one. Not too difficult though as it takes concentration and following the manual and keep track of which screws go where. It is a very good first laptop repair project.

    It should be for information about the video modes as the resolution of the CRT screen, color depth (bpp), and refresh rate (hz).
