What happened when you checked the log of alerts for more information? What did you find? These files exist? .dbf is a much more commonly associated with a data file - extension doesn't want not to say, he cannot be a control file, but that does not match a naming convention, I have never seen used.

Hello
I would like to restore a database to another server

in the destination server, I installed oracle 9.2.0.1 (only software) and applied the Patch Release 2 (9.2.0.6)

Published by: [email protected] on October 13, 2008 05:09You can also try your init.ora of edition and leaving only control01.ctl (remove control02.ctl and control03.ctl of the parameter control_files).

upgrading startup ORA-00205: error in the identification of control files
Hello
I do a manual upgrade of 10.2.04 to 11.2.03.
I installed 11.2.0.3.
Ran utlu112i.sql
Copied TNSNAMES and LISTENER.ora, init.ora of 10g of House to the respective directories in 11g.
A commented all the dump_dest paramteres in init.ora 11g and added the diagnostic_dest parameter
exports all varaiables as follows.
Export ORACLE_HOME = / oracle/ora11203
export PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/bin: $PATH
export ORACLE_SID = OMIGTEST
Export TNS_ADMIN = $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
export ORACLE_BASE = / oracle/ora11203/app/ora11203
Now when I try to start DB of the unix session where all above variables are defined, I get after publication.

Post installation problems, ORA-00205: error in control identiying files
Dear all,
On a new installation on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.3 64-bit, I installed Oracle 11 g 1 64-Bit material. There was not a single error during installation. But DB has not been started.
When I tried to start the DB, it gives the following error:
ORA-00205: error in the identification of control files.
I edited the init.ora file:
control_files = (/ opt/app/oracle/oradata/bsserp/control01.ctl, opt/app/oracle/oradata/bsserp/control02.ctl, opt/app/oracle/oradata/bsserp/control03.ctl)
But the error remains the same. I even recreated the PB but his will not change.
Kindly help on that.
Best regards, Imranmisterimran wrote:
It seems that the compatible thing worked, but now the error changed to:ORA-01103: name of the database "BSSERP" in the control file is not "DEFAULT".
Can I modify the control file to change the database name. Because the database is not in a State of mounting I can't question the name of database to help:
SELECT database name $ v the folder name is BSSERP.
You need to replace BSSERP DB_NAME parameter (but actually it's DEFAULT), and then restart the database.

Thank youIn which group is the user to network?
What group you chose in the group administrator of the ASM?
Authorities who have your oracle executables (in the House of the grid and Oracle Home)? If you cloned Oracle Home, then it is very likely that the oracle Oracle executable Home is owned by oracle: oinstall, but it must be owned by oracle: asmadim (or prabably s/n) in your case.
Use setasmgidwrap on the oracle executable in the House of the Oracle and this should solve your problem.
(DBCA imlicitly calls it).Concerning

ORA-01565: error in file identification
Hello
10 g R2 on windows 2003 server
I have these errors when creating the control file:
I put the data files on a mapped file (w) system.ORA-01565: error in identifying file 'W:\TEST\DATA\SYSTEM01.DBF' O/S-Error: (OS 3)
I heard that Oracle under windows cannot identify mapped filesystem. Is this really the case? Can you confirm please?
Thank you very much.I heard that Oracle under windows cannot identify mapped file system
That's right in a DEFAULT configuration, the default setting means all Oracle services (check Control Panel) run under the LocalSystem account. This internal account is not allowed access to readers in network for security reasons.
Solution:
Start Oracle services (at least the database service and listener) to the same user to the help that is used during authentication of the mapped network drive. For working in an Oracle environment this user must have administrator privileges and must belong to the ORA_DBA group, normally it is the user who did the installation of Oracle.Werner

Hello
I realize that your problem is that 10.2 HSODBC was never focused on the Windows 64-bit platform and was only available on 32-bit Windows. You can not install the 32-bit on WIndows 64-bit HSODBC.
Your only option is to install 11.2 DG4ODBC on your platform Windows 64 - bit, or if you have a RDBMS 10.2 installed on another platform, then you could use HSODBC as part of this installation and connect from the RDBMS on Windows 64 - bit using the links in the database. HSODBC 10.2 software could not be installed as a stand-alone product and was only available as part of an RDBMS install.
Kind regards
Mike

ORA-00904: "ORA_ROWSCN": invalid identifier
Get this error when trying to open tables in SQL Developer and data display.
ORA-00904: "ORA_ROWSCN": invalid identifier
Found a very old thread talking about this error, and now it's happening with me with SQL Developer Version on a Mac/Yosemite 4.1.1.19.
https://community.Oracle.com/thread/1019844
It happened for awhile and I didn't say anything because I can run a select statement * and get all the data I need. But it is bit boring so wonder if it's a bug that's resurfaced? Anyone else seeing this? Apparently not, because there seems to be no recent discussions on this subject, but maybe I'm not find them.
Earl
References to the built-in ORA_ROWSCN function should not return the message "invalid identifier" when connected to Oracle 10 g R1 or higher. When you connect to a pre - 10 g R1, uncheck the box use ORA_ROWSCN for DataEditor insert and update statements in Tools > Preferences > Database > Object Viewerr.

ORA-17628: error Oracle 19505 returned by remote Oracle - Dup Active Server
Hi all
I'm doing a duplicate RMAN of a 11.2.0.4 database to another host on a different IP address.
Goal

Auxiliary (nomount)

I've added an entry static listener to the file on the server to THE listener and start the instance in nomount.

Same mistake. Nothing is written for the journal of alerts. IM starting to pull the hair is left on my head out and people start screaming for this database. I could go back to datapump but I want to understand this. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Yes, although this:
connected to target database: IST_11G (DBID = 525645852)
connected to the auxiliary database: IST_11G (unassembled)
can say you that RMAN you connected the two separate databases, the process, instances should do research each other using tnsnames file entries. Thus, incorrect tnsnames entries can have one instance pointing to itself.

ORA-28545: error diagnosed by Net8 when connecting to an agent
Hi all
This question was asked several times in this forum and I went to many discussions in this forum, but unfortunately I failed.
I want to connect to MySQL database to oracle. I have the following configurations.
- Oracle database edition company 12 c (12.1.0.2.0) 64 bits on 64-bit Windows server 2012
- I have 5.6.11 MySQL on windows 7 64 bit
- I downloaded the driver site for delivery of oracle ODBC (MySQL Connector/ODBC 5.3.4 MSI for Windows x 86 (64 bit))
- I have install ODBC on my oracle server, a full install which installs the Unicode and Ansi versions.
- I create the connection ODBC for Unicode by going to control panel-> administrator tools-> (64-bit) ODBC Data Sources-> system DSN. I test and the test succeeded.
- I have set up my files Listner.ora, Tnsname.ora and initmysql.ora as below;

where is the problem in my setup?
Thank you.
You use the wrong host name in the tnsnames.ora.
Take a look at the Oracle listener - it is configured with the address: (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ORADEV.hct.org)(PORT = 1521))
In your tnsnames.ora you specified in the mysql alias: (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = N410FS02)(PORT = 1521))
It does not work. Alias configured in the tnsnames.ora AMT must reference an Oracle listener who begins the process of bridge, so in your case at ORADEV.hct.org.
So please correct your tnsnames.ora entry:
MySQL =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ORADEV.hct.org)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SID = mysql)
)
(HS = OK)

Thanks for the help.
This is an invalid identifier because you cannot use a column assigned in the application to the location alias WHERE clause or ORDER BY in the same query. You have two options to rewrite this query:
SELECT EVENT, n.WAIT_CLASS,
TIME_WAITED_MICRO, ROUND(TIME_WAITED_MICRO*100/S.DBTIME,1) PCT_DB_TIME
V $ SYSTEM_EVENT E, V$ EVENT_NAME N,.
(SELECT the DBTIME VALUE OF V$ SYS_TIME_MODEL WHERE STAT_NAME = "DB time") S
WHERE E.EVENT_ID = N.EVENT_ID
AND N.WAIT_CLASS NOT IN ('Idle', ' E/s system') and ROUND(TIME_WAITED_MICRO*100/S.DBTIME,1) <> 0
ORDER BY ROUND(TIME_WAITED_MICRO*100/S.DBTIME,1) ASC;and
SELECT * from
(SELECT EVENT, n.WAIT_CLASS,
TIME_WAITED_MICRO, ROUND(TIME_WAITED_MICRO*100/S.DBTIME,1) PCT_DB_TIME
V $ SYSTEM_EVENT E, V$ EVENT_NAME N,.
(SELECT the DBTIME VALUE OF V$ SYS_TIME_MODEL WHERE STAT_NAME = "DB time") S
WHERE E.EVENT_ID = N.EVENT_ID
AND N.WAIT_CLASS NOT IN ('Idle', ' E/s system'))
where PCT_DB_TIME <> 0
ORDER BY PCT_DB_TIME ASC;Both work.
