  Hello;

  It looks like how you restored the control antagonized file a copy who did align with current data files.

  I just tested this I'll now what I did different here in a moment.

  My test:

  The link shows all the details. What jumps out is two things. I put the DBID and I let RMAN decide what control file to restore. View I had the same ORA-01589 like you and how I recovered from it.

  RMAN > restore database;
  SQL > alter database open resetlogs;
  RMAN > reset database;

  and then the test data.

  "boot configuration data store could not be opened" when starting bcdedit. Boot config-dual PREV XP Pro x 64 1st disk; XP Pro 32 on the 2nd disk.  Nuked 1st disk and installed Win 7.  It seems that Windows 7 has not identified the 2nd OS because it wasn't on a partition on the same drive?  All I can find is info on editing an existing data store. I don't see any information on how to create one from scratch, except there is a Create option and the different option, but not how to decide what the values should be. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Boot from the installation DVD and run Recovery menu. Command prompt.

  I can't put a data file online, due to the following error:

  SQL > alter database datafile 24 online. ALTER database datafile 24 online * ERROR at line 1: ORA-01190: command file or data file 24 just before the last RESETLOGS ORA-01110: data file 24: ' / oraappl/pca/vdevl/vdevldata/vol01.dbf'

  What I've done so far:

  -Restore and recover the database

  -Restored and recovered the data file (24)

  -Restored the controlfile and start the database

  None of the above worked.

  The following options are.

  -Re-create the control file-> I don't know how this will work.

  -to drop datafile 24 and add it-> I don't want to lose the contect.

  All the tips of this crew?

  Problem solved:

  OK since no more comment, I'll close this thread by posting the fix.

  Backgroud, this is a database of development. So had the opportunity to do a bit of what I did to solve the problem.

  Solution:

  Given that I had a backup of the table space in a different database, I could drop the tablespace and re-create.

  How to--->

  First, check out all the tables related to this tablespace

  Select dba_tables owner, table_name, nom_tablespace where nom_tablespace = 'FLIGHT ";

  Then, I realized that a single table was in this tablespace (lucky me).

  Secondly, I take all the constraints for this table. Disable constraints and drop them.

  Thirdly, once the table has been released from constraints, I drop the tablespace

  DROP tablespace flight including content and data files;

  Fourthly, to recreate the tablespace

  CREATE TABLESPACE FLIGHT DATAFILE ' / oraappl/pca/vdevl/vdevldata/vol01.dbf' SIZE 200 M reuse autoextend off local extended management;

  And fifth, after you recreate the tablespace, I imported the data using the data pump in

  Impdp system /@ TABLES = pcvdbms. DIRECTORY of PCV_VOLUNTEER = VOLDEV_DIR DUMPFILE = vdevl_full_b4upgrade.dmp TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION = REPLACE

  Finally, back up the entire database using RMAN and DATAPUMP.

  Select the owner, nom_segment, tablespace_name from dba_extents where FILE_ID = 9 and 316 between BLOCK_ID and BLOCK_ID + BLOCKS;

  Once you identify the object you can drop and re-create if his index finger, using DBMS_REPAIR if his table...

  If you check the log of alerts you will get message similar to

  Remove the #7 file recovery:'/db/dbs/UNNAMED00007 ' of controlfile.

  Now you have 2 possible

  1. If you have backup of the tablespace TS1, then you can restore and recover

  If you do not need this tablespace then you drop that datafile offline 7. Open the database in resetlogs mode and drop the tablespace TS1

  NOREDO would be used when you have a consistent backup (i.e. backup performed while the database is mounted, but is not OPEN) and so any archivelogs must be applied. (It would also be the case for a NOARCHIVELOG database).

  I have a special case and asking if someone has dealt with something similar. I have 2 databases that have been cloned from the same database in 11.2.0.3, the source DB has a tablespace that is unimportant, I want to just drop in cloned databases, but when I went to the let down, I got the following error:

  Several diagrams, each in its own tablespace. A single schema, the production is necessary, and it is fine. The test schema 'tst' got its tablespace files, replaced by one of our admins. I DO NOT need any data in any diagram but production, and its files are OK.
  
  When I try to open the database so that it abandons the tablespace and the content, I get:

  I suspect that what has happened, is that demand has dropped a temporary table to during the time that you run the export - consider this series of events

  (1) temp table created by application

  (2) start expdp work - including this table

  (3) the extracted table metadata

  (4) the application deletes the table

  (5) expdp is trying to retrieve data from the table - and gets the above error.

  Just to confirm with the enforcement team that the table is just a temporary thing - it certainly seems it name.
