So please give me the solution
Thanks in advance
Actually I had copied all datafiles without issuing "ALter database begin backup"
You have created primary waiting for database by copying the database files directly? Did you stop your primary database during this activity or not?

Hello
During the recovery process, you will see some messages, that's nothing unusual
Important is that the procedure does not stop but continues and after some time, the Win operating system should complete the installation
Wait a bit and see if the procedure would end...If the procedure to hang himself, then start recovery and boot from the disc reocvery...

Satellite A45-S150 - black screen after the recovery process
After problems with a virus, I ran the recovery disk and reformat the hard drive and reloaded the OS. When the process pushes me to remove the disc, it begins to restart, but only shows a black screen. I restart the process of recovery only with the same results.
The laptop came loaded with XP, but that the recovery Application is running, it says it is loading Windows 98. Could the original recovery disc was loaded with the wrong operating system?
What's next?
Hey,.
> I restart the process of recovery only with the same results.
You can install Windows using a normal Microsoft Windows disk?
So, you can check if the problem is related to the computer laptop or recovery disk itself.> it says that it is loading Windows 98
Don t worry not about this message. As far as I know it has something to do with the software that allows you to copy the recovery image on your HARD drive. Recovery disk still contains Windows XP ;) -

Satellite A20-S103D: two questions about the recovery process
Hello
I bought the machine above my nephew - is no longer necessary.
It runs Windows XP Home Edition and is not a Windows CD or disc of recovery of any kind.I have a Windows decal on the underside with the product key, but when I use "Belarc Advisor" to examine the product keys for all my software loaded it gives a totally different operating system product key! This key contains the letters OEM in there.
As the machine is supplied with a Toshiba power management software I guess it's an OEM Toshiba of the OS version I have.
My questions are:
1 / this does not mean that at some point in the past, this machine was another product of Windows XP on it? (two product keys)
2 / I can, (and), I get the Windows XP CD or a recovery for the machine, like I need to recover or to reload Windows. Thanks in advance to all members of the forum that meet.
> 1 / this does not mean that at some point in the past, this machine was another product of Windows XP on it? (two product keys)
The key you found at the bottom of the device belongs to the OEM of Windows version that is part of the recovery diskette.
The recovery disk is already enabled so that the key is not required in order to activate the Windows operating system.
As far as I know, that the key does not work with other versions of windows> 2 / I can, (and), I get the Windows XP CD or a recovery for the machine, like I need to recover or to reload Windows.
Since it is an old, I doubt you'd be able to order the recovery for this device disc
If you want to install the Win operating system, then you must use a Windows CD clean valid keys and all drivers may be downloaded from the page of European driver of Toshiba.
The drivers are placed in the archive because it oldie s in order to choose the archives in the type of product to download the form. -
Partition recovery NB200 - 10G - failed to start the recovery process
I NB200 a customer on the bench. He arrived with complete operating system failure and wouldn't boot from the partition of the OS or the recovery Partition.
I checked the hard drive and it is in perfect working condition. However, it seems that all is not well that I can't boot from the partition recovery even after holding doen the 0 key.
I tried to ask him to start from the TRUNK. INI file by pointing a "revoery" to the partition option, but it just comes up with an error message saying
\system32\HAL file is missing or damaged. Does anyone know how I should ask the partition to start or how could I retrieve information from image files? If you check page 48 in s manuals you will find an exact description how to start installation of recovery. The procedure on this NB200 is same or, at least, similar to all laptops come with HARD drive recovery image. Please check.
A useful document on the installation of HARD drive recovery you can find in the section... category > http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=58

Cannot complete the recovery process after replacing HARD drive
Hello
I changed my hard drive it for 15 days because he showed abnormalities, so I bought a new hard drive Seagate Western brand with the same technical characteristics as the existing hard drive (product for the product).
I was then on TOSHIBA HDD RECOVERY to burn to CD system recovery disks, then I went to replace the hard drive.
After the change, I raised my PC with system restore CD.
The procedure is successfully completed and orders of comments asking me to remove the disk and restart the PC.I raise the PC, everything goes well, launch windows, installation of perfect records system then comes the stage of installation and settings of the system here after the error message:
"Windows Setup could not configure Windows to run on the hardware in the computer."
Then it asks me to restart, then it comes back every time on this message, I'm stuck on this step.
I tried to change the mode of the disc source hard 'compatibility' instead of 'AHCI' but it's even worse, it completely without error buggy. Please give me an explanation of this phenomenon.
Sincerely.
Guillaume
Have you tried to repeat the whole recovery procedure?
If this is not the case, do.I recommend to format the whole HARD drive and create an NTFS partition.
Then start the laptop using the Toshiba Recovery disk and start the recovery procedure.I read about the problem of disk HARD similar in the past and especially NFS partition creation has helped to solve these problems.

HP HDX Windows Vista 64 bit laptop with error 1002 of the recovery process
Hello
I have laptop HP HDX which had a sound problem with message of error "Could not play the test tone", tried in several ways by online suggestions and ended to reinstall the new copy with recovery disk. As part of the recovery with a reovery of HP drive, I tried to get it back and it formatted boot partiion and got this error message "error 1002 if the problem persists, please contact HP support. My laptop is out of warranty now. I talked to HP support and they ask me to buy new drives recovery and someone in this forum mentioned that recovery disk will lift the same mistake and we would need to purchase technical support and even that has not worked for soembody after paying $ 200 to support. I am struck with recovery of the laptop now. I also tried the recovery partition revovering and gave rise to no luck. I'm now out of warranty.
I am really fedup with bearing on my this laptop windows vista 64 bit HP HDX laptop problems. What is your best suggestion for me to recover my windows vista now?
Thank you.
GK
I ordered the drive to restore HP for $ 16 and I have no problem in my OS with this disk recovery. Recovery partition that came with my laptop had this error 1002 and he really tortured than me. It is recovered successfully with this new disc of recovery with on all issues.
I would have saved a lot of time, would not have had any stress and restore ($16) if HP disks price had built the free bug recovery partition.
I'll be very careful in buying HP products in the future.
Peace out.

ICONS ARE TOO BIG AFTER THE RECOVERY PROCESS
MY SYSTEM CRASHED AND I MADE THE RECOVERY DISC, EVERYTHING WORKS WELL, LIKE A PC BRAND NEW, HOWEVER, MY ICONS WHEN I'M ONLINE, ARE HUGE, I CAN NOT THE LITTLE ONES, SO I'LL HAVE DIFFICULT TO READ EMAIL, MAIL, ETC.
We have the same problem when you post in all capitals!
It makes it difficult to read and is considered as shouting.
Go to the Web site of the manufacturer of your laptop computer-graphics/computer card > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
Then:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
Change the screen resolution
Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
See you soon.

Satellite A500/A505 - some problems after the recovery process
I recently used the my Satellite A500, A505 recovery partition to get rid of a particularly persistent virus after running several antivirus programs, all to nothing does not.
Now the virus seems to have disappeared, but the computer doesn't seem to be in the State it was in immediately after its opening.
Firstly, the resolution is such that the taskbar, menu start and the desktop icons are all much larger than normal.
Secondly, it seems to be missing some graphics files enables it to play my games that I put on it from my backup (in other words, it is showing the bottom of the game screen and play music and SFX without showing the character sprites or the menu options).
Thirdly, my Fn + F6/F7 does not allow me to adjust the brightness of the screen of the computer, the only way that I know how to adjust the brightness of a Toshiba laptop.
EC who if anything, could I hurt in all this?
What might be able to do to solve these problems?
I don't have no internet right now, but I have a USB and eternal patience, so I can use another computer and transfer everything what you suggest on mine.Nevertheless, I prefer solutions that do not like it, if possible.
Surely appreciated!
To be honest I never heard of this issue.
In my opinion you should try to make the installation of recovery one more time to check if the same problem occurs again. You have created recovery disks?
If Yes use recovery disks for recovery image installation. -
Satellite A200-1RK: Local Disk F is not available after the recovery process
Can someone help me?
I have a toshiba Satellite A200-1RK laptop.
Usually when I click on where it says MY computer I get three things they are Vista C and dvd rw drive E and Local drive F.But after a virus on my laptop and the only way to get rid was a full recovery I did OK.
But after that I noticed that the local disk F is no longer there when I click on my computer the other two are still there.Someone can help and can understand what I'm on everything
Hello
1) click on the start menu
(2) right click on computer and click on Manage
(3) open the category storage and click Disk Management. Here, you will find your partition (s) to your disk.
I don't know what you have here exactly, but I guess your drive F is localized. Right-click on it, choose, make new partiton, and follow the steps. It will be published. -

Ask about the product recovery process
Hello Mr./Mrs
I'm about to start the recovery process of the product on my laptop, so I've read is that it formats all data on the hard drive. Is what it means if I have 2 hard drives (C & E drive) all on each of them will be erased or simply C drive only?
If both drives will be erased so where can I restore my data disc E to continue the process?
Thank you for your support.
Your TonyHello Tony
It will be interesting to know what model of laptop do you have and how you want to perform the installation of recovery.
If you use F8 and drive HARD recovery (on the new laptop models) installing the C partition will be deleted only.
If you use the whole HARD drive recovery DVD will be erased and formatted.
