  The plug-in is the same as the object browser helper from O-Drive (legacy CMS). It is only used by SAY with servers of the CBD (content DB) in order to avoid guests to logon when you call the context menus of the advanced properties and sharing on a record or file in a server BDC connection in Windows Explorer integration.

  From the point of view of WCC it is not used.

  Hoping that someone has encountered this problem before and it is aware of a solution - I have a user who is unable to install the Oracle Outlook Email integration On Demand for Outlook plug.
  
  Outlook does not run when the installation is done, but a "Severe" pop-up error when installing that says: "Setup could not write all the necessary registry entries. The installation will be interrupted! »
  
  Always see the same problem after a reboot and no other users have a problem installing it - any who have ideas and/or registry entires Setup trying to touch?

  I am facing a problem while creating a new connection to Oracle DB using Inegtator in version 3.1.

  I get the following exception:

  Specifically, I'm looking to 8.6.2. I can produce of the Find dialog box when a user clicks on a button, I created in the excel worksheet. However, when the search filter, there is no obvious way to exit and apply the research to the Excel worksheet.

  I added the action of the component where I invoke a download. How to create the link in the dialog search form which is open and the excel spreadsheet? The docs seem to refer to a sample project using workbook of EditPriceList - DT.xlsx. However, I cannot find the project of anywhere. I might be able to understand this if I had access to the project.

  Ah! I see. Ok. I'm sorry. Here is our approach. We assume that for interactive installations, just simply run the exe, and then apply the settings that you need through the user interface. We assume that the additional settings are required for multi-users deployment will go quietly preconfigured with settings appropriate to that end users can just click and go. This can be bundled in a script that may have to do other things, like taking note of the fact that another licnse software has been used, or the end user enter the appropriate server application. For example, in Oracle, we have a central location called MyDesktop which hosts all the software that we are called to use. We just there click the appropriate software and then a specific installer MyDesktop downloads the software to our desktop and installs the software with all the required parameters and the parameters of our environment.

  So, to answer your question directly, if you are an administrator, we would expect you:

  1 extract the MSI to EXE file that you have downloaded from OTN already.
  2 create a script with the command msiexec calling the MSI and the parameters on the command line.

  To extract the MSI file:

  Note: If you are a customer you have connected on My Oracle Support and sought "extracted from MSI. You would have found KM Note 451873.1 which deals with this. In any case, here's what you do:

  * Run the installation executable provided and wait for the Welcome window to appear.
  Open Windows Explorer and go to Windows TEMP%.directory. The location of this folder varies depending on the operating system

  Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\LocalSettings\Temp\
  Windows 7 or Vista: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\

  .. where is your login username.

  * The subfolder is named Oracle-MRI-Installer-1234567890 where 1234567890 can be any 10-digit number.
  * In the new directory, you will find the MSI installer (this is the file ending in ".msi") and a Setup log
  * Copy the MSI installer in a different directory.
  * On the Welcome window, press Cancel. Confirm that you do not want to continue the installation.
  * Click on finish in the final install window. You can delete the temporary directory that was created because it is not deleted when you quit the process.

  I installed IRM 11g desktop and trying to connect it to my IRM 11g server. Sometimes it connect, but unable to show context while sealing. Even on restarting the server & reinstall the Office of MRI, its does not work.
  
  Y at - it a bug in Office of MRI or problem with my setup?
  
  I use * "http://172.17.202.121:16100 / irm_desktop" * as my URL of the server. I put the same thing in Enterprise Manager for MRI.
  
  I am able to connect and Synchronize & Irene succesfully from other computers on the LAN.

  Clear credentials in this office. To do this, open the options panel in double-cliocking MRI systray icon. Click the servers tab then select your server. This should allow the clear password button. Click on the button.

  After that, try sealing. You should be prompted to authenticate - unless you use Windows NT authentication?

  I have my own HR connection, called 'HR '. I changed the parameters of model-> properties-> business components and in the AppModule-> Configurations and the test is working properly.
  Why in the error description is written 'HRConn' and not 'HR '?
  
  In the properties of my connection ('HR'), I updated the value of the SID "orcl" I have the same error described previously, while if I choose the name of the Service and I put it to myServiceName, the connection works.

  Hello Andrea,

  The default connection (HRConn) will demonstrate to the database installed in localhost. I guess that you don't have a database in your machine. Also, I suspect that you have added a new connection on demand (HR as you say). Since now you have both connections defined in your application (HRconn and HR), she tries to deploy the two connections. However, since the connection information referred to in the HRConn are not valid (such as point to localhost), you get this error.

  Could you try changing the HRConn existing (give the SID or Service name, host name, Port etc. from the database that you are using) and run again (and also, to delete the new connection you created (HR).)

• OAM and Oracle Portal integration issue

  I have Oracle portal (OAS 10.2.0.3) installed and it worked fine with OAS SSO. I was able to log users in Oracle Internet DIrectory. I also installed Oracle Access manager (10.1.4.0) with Oracle Internet directory. Then I followed Oracle for example "integrating Oracle Access Manager with Oracle signs on and Oracle Portal" (http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/fusion_middleware/im1014/oam-osso-portal/oam-osso-portal.htm) to integrate the OAM and Oracle Portal.
  
  In the last step, after I typed http:// < server.domain >: 7778/pls/portal and click on the login link, I saw the box of challenge based on LDAP (which was good). But after that I have provided the user name and an OID userand password clicked OK, the portal page has not changed at all. It seemed that I logged in, but I couldn't see Builder or portal, or the logout link admin tab. So I couldn't even log on the portal because the logout link was not displayed.

  I think that the OSSO plugin does not receive user name information correctly. You can add debugging statements in the SSOOblixAuth.java and recompile / redeploy to see if the value is received.

  This isn't the way to do it. Using the ESB or BPEL normal, you can put a message on AQ using the standard QA adapter or the JMS adapter (also standard). I don't know if the OSB has a QA-adapter, but I guess so. If so, use it. It must surely have a JMS adapter, and then you can set a custom B2B internal delivery channel that uses a JMS queue.

  For BPEL/ESB, there is also a specific adapter in B2B, but there use AQ internal and previously has not been certified for the latest version of the SOA Suite. QA should be your best bet.

  There is a tech note describing how to set up the things of BSE and another for BPEL. You should be able to use them as a starting point, it should be the same in OSB.

  Edit: also, you can define a delivery channel internal using a B2B file system folder, but I would recommend the above.
