Oracle BPM installation on existing weblogic server

Hello friends,

I have the server Weblogic (1035_generic), SOA_generic (11.1.1.5), jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 installed and configured on my system. Initially, I did these facilities to work on the BPEL, ADF, OSB, etc.. But is it possible to install and set up the environment of BPM on the same server? If possible can someone please provide me with the directions to set up the same.

Thanks in advance...
Shravan.

Take a look at page 34 of the Quick Start Guide for Oracle® SOA Suite 11 g 1 material (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/overview/quickstartguidesoasuite11gr1ps4-459545.pdf). You create or expand a field, you are given the option to include the BPM.

To extend JDeveloper to include BPM look at page 49 of the same document.

Guess you could already know, but do not use the same Middleware for JDeveloper directory that you used during the installation of WebLogic Server.

    Hello

I have Oracle Fusion Middleware 11 running on my Windows 7 workstation.

I want to install JDevelopper 115, I don't need its WebLogic but I need to create Web services for forms.

How can I install Jdeveloper 115 without its Weblogic?

    Thank you very much

This has nothing to do with the FPÖ. I'm not in front of a computer at the moment, but what you need to do is to create a new library in jdev (Tools, manage libraries) and add the jar file to the stuff of CCP forms. You can then add the library to your project by double clicking on the project using the libraries category. I don't remember the exact jar file you need, but out should be in the home of forms, and I think that it is frmall.jar - check forms documentation to be sure.

I had several java installed on my computer so I thought this might be causing the problem. I went ahead uninstalled all the software just installed and java Oracle JDK 7 55 of update for Microsoft Windows x 64, set the path to be able to run java and ran "java-jar fmw_12.1.3.0.0_wls.jar". Installer is coming now.

  • Oracle Weblogic server and Oracle Application Server

The Bea weblogic and Oracle application server have been combined in a product-viz Oracle Weblogic server.

Please clarify - because Oracle Application Server is always available as a separate offering

    Thank you

Yes, since version 10.3.4 the product called Weblogic Server provides the two "BEA WLS' and 'Oracle AS' characteristics (namely, support for forms and reports, ADF, etc..)

Existing customers of Oracle ACEs can move to Weblogic Server to get its benefits (for example, JRockIt JVM). For the new Oracle AS it is no longer available.

BTW. This is not a good forum for this kind of questions. You must use these: https://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=193

  • Administration server and the servers managed (WebLogic Server).

    Hello

What are Server Administration and managed servers , I saw these words as I read the installation guide for WebLogic server,

but I don't know what they are?

I saw them while I was reading on the Node manager that allows me to start the above mentioned.

-J' installs the WebLogic to develop applications with oracle reports and forms services.

1 - do I need a node Manager, Administration Server or managed servers?

    2. is the Manager nodes, Server Administration or servers managed as EnterPrise data control manager ?

    Thank you very much

Answers to most of your questions WLS lie in WLS documentation:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E23943_01/Web.1111/e13752/TOC.htm

However, a simple answer to your questions could be summed up as follows.

If you are familiar with older versions of application server version 10, which include OC4J as its Java container, as a managed WLS server is basically the same thing.  In the context of WLS, a managed server is responsible for hosting java applications on the server side.  For example, Oracle Forms Servlet.  The WLS management server is actually a java application deployed on a managed server.  So, really, the "Admin" server is a kind of "Managed Server".  In a typical installation of forms/States, you will find that at least three 3 managed servers are created automatically for you:

    • Server Admin
    • WLS_FORMS
    • WLS_REPORTS

Node Manager is a separate process that is used to allow the two directors of the WLS environment such as command line allowing the administrator of the server to communicate with other servers managed, local or remote.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E25178_01/Web.1111/e13740/overview.htm

Then, for simply "run" apply (forms, for example), all you need is the managed server that hosts the forms Servlet.  However, if you want to change the configuration via a web interface, you must also run the administration server (and Node Manager).

All these components are much more complex than what I've described here.  I would recommend to consider the documentation if you are interested in learning about them.  That said, the best way to really learn about them likely will be to install the product and start using it.

  • Just install JDeveloper 12 c with webLogic server

    Hello friends,

I am new to Oracle ADF. I have just installed Oracle JDeveloper and observed that WebLogic Server-12 c got also installed.

I'm learning Oracle ADF to develop a web application independent.

Can someone help me understand the following:

    (1) is it mandatory to use for Oracle ADF WebLogic Server

    (2) when we compile and run our program developed in the JDeveloper environment, he deployed on weblogic Server (which got installed)?

    (3) we configure the weblogic Server development in JDeveloper before?

    Thanks and greetings

    Hawker

    (1) Weblogic is the application most commonly used server. However, you can use glassfish as well - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/documentation/1212-cert-1964670.html#Abrams-SupportInformation-ApplicationServers

    (2) you must deploy on the weblogic Server (this is the integrated weblogic server that has installed). You can run your jspx page or deploy the profile of the EAR.

    (3) you must create a data source that points to the databases you use. Other than for a standard ADF application running on Weblogic Server integrated, there are not much he must use configurations. However, when deploying in production environments, you need to make sure, you install and configure the environment to weblogic for performance and scalability. The link above should have a few details.

  • Change physical IP of a weblogic Server

    Hello

I have installed weblogic 9.2 server. I need to change the address of the listening to the weblogic server, that is, to set up a new IP address to the existing WEblogic server.

I tried to change the address of the listening to the administration console and also tried to modify the config.xml file. These two tracks did not help me.

Could someone kindly help me on this topic.

  • Can I install server on an existing weblogic 10.3.6 7.6 short?

I would like to install short Server 7.6 on an existing weblogic 10.3.6 using JDK 1.6U45 based Windows 2008 R2 SP1. I noticed the installation guide, just select 3 options when installing weblogic 10.3.6, while the existing weblogic 10.3.6 in real life was fully installed. So can I install server on this existing weblogic 10.3.6 7.6 short? Thank you!

    Hello

Yes you can install the server short in an existing WebLogic 10.3.6, although it is preferable to devote a WebLogic domain to hosting the server short application. See about that on short and WebLogic integration server, the Server 7.6.0 short doc.

In this document, it is stated:

«Important: for performance and troubleshooting purposes, it is best to dedicate a WebLogic domain to hosting that application server short.» In this case, the short-server root context is used in the URL to one of the WebLogic Server instance hosting the server short application. »

In addition, the server short Setup Guide provides instructions for the installation of the generic version of the Oracle WebLogic 10.3.6. installation package and no matter what other packages of WebLogic. Specifically, it says:

"This procedure is based on the components that are available in the installation of WebLogic Server under the terms of the limited license to use Oracle. If your site already has access to the most complete version of the WebLogic Server, additional components can be put at your disposal. However, the instructions in this topic do not guarantee that all the other components of the WebLogic Server can be used with short server. In addition, some components, such as Enterprise Manager, are not addressed in this guide. »

  • Start several areas simultaneously 1 installation of Weblogic server?

Is it acceptable to create and manage several areas simultaneously. Better yet, when several areas on 1 Server WLS, each area have another port number in order to be executed at the same time?

Here is my scenario - I have installed Oracle Business Intellgence, which, by default, installs and configures the server WLS for some Business Intelligence applications (BI Publisher). This instance is running fine and good and always.

Then I got another application, Oracle Data Integrator, that has a Console piece that requires a domain on WLS. So rather than change the existing for Oracle Business Intelligence domain, I created a new domain through the Configuration Wizard and selected these Oracle Data Integrator components.

That is why the current areas:

...\domains\bifoundation_domain--> installed automatically as part of Oracle Business Intelligence
    ...\domains\odi11g--> I created this area after I

Now I have 2 domains under 1 WLS Server (windows 7 64-bit), but if I startWeblogic.cmd for the bifoundation_domain and I startWeblogic.cmd for the odi11g... While the components for the bifoundation_domain will be available via the WLS Console.

    Issues related to the:
-Can I simultaneously use two domains?
-I changed the bifoundation_domain to include the Oracle Data Integrator components. so only with 1 domain, but have all run under this area?
-Is the Port for each subject of the domain? field, the bifounddation_domain and the odi11g use ports 7001

Are there other aspects? Thank you very much.

    Hello

    For the side things WebLogic:
-Yes, you can run two domains on one machine. You can run as many areas that the computer/server can handle.

-The ports are important on what you use. Basically, the relaitonship is that you can have 1 WebLogic Server running on port 1. Otherwise, you'll have weblogic servers, prevent others from commissioning. So, you will need to make sure that all of your weblogic servers are configured on separate ports. 7001 is the default port WebLogic AdminServer. You can modify the ports that are used from the Administrator console or '% Domain_Home%/config/config.xml '.

  • Oracle WebLogic Server (12.1.2.0.0) install fails for 64-bit Windows 7 system

    I installed Java 7 SDK.when I install weblogic 12.1.2.0.0 I got following error message?

    Java version:

    C:\Users\wso2 > java-version

    Java version "1.7.0_55".

Java (TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_55 - b14)

    Java for 64-bit Server VM (build 24, 55 - b03, mixed mode)

When I use below in the command prompt:

    Java-D64-jar wls_121200.jar

    It displays following error:

    Extraction of the files...

This Setup program must be run using an SDK Java (JDK)

but C:\Program Files\Java\jre7 is not a valid JDK.

The Oracle Universal Installer failed.  On the way out.

Why these error happens, what I have to install or any prerequisites needs and How do I install jar wls_121200 file? can you help me please?

    Here are a few suggestions

1 make sure that you don't have any other versions of java on your machine

    2. run java-jar command directly from your JDK/bin folder, not anywhere else. You must use your JDK/bin/java command to execute the command

Don't forget to open the command prompt in administration mode.

  • Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6

    Hi all

I want to test the installation 10.3.6 weblogic Server

I am looking for the download and I saw this:

    Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6

Installers with Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle coherence and Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse:

    - Linux x 86 with 32-bit JVM (1.5 GB)

    - Windows x 86 with 32-bit JVM (1.5 GB)

    - Mac OS X with 32-bit JVM (1.7 GB)

My server is Linux x 86-64. Is this 32 bit to install? or are there any Weblogic 64 bit Installer?

    Thank you very much

    JC

For 64-bit Linux systems, you can download the "Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.6) + consistency - Package Installer" generic Setup tab "additional platforms.

    For more details
There is no group of Linux 64-bit with Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.6), consistency of the Oracle, Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse (Doc ID 1497497.1)

  • Oracle WebLogic Server 11 g 1 material (10.3.6) the file name is different in the site and while his error getting buildstage

    Hi all

I downloaded Oracle EBS https://edelivery.oracle.com/EPD/ 12.2.0 and selected for "outsourced manufacturing and Oracle for discrete Industries R12.2 V5 (12.2.3) v1, Linux x 86-64" on the page

downloaded the files required for the staging area, in the Linux x86_64 gave error for "file name V29856 - 01.zip Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.6) Generic and coherence but on oracle delivery page, I can only find Oracle WebLogic Server 11 GR 1 material (10.3.6) and coherence for the file name of Linux x 86" : V29851 - 01.zip which is already uploaded on the stage space, how can I find the file in the site or should I rename to V29856 - 01.zip you please help me on this problem.

    Thank you

    JAI Srinivas.

    Srinivas,

I think I got an idea after reading it several times

    This is what I understood

checksum is a failure, so you use version 12.2 Overview disk file (1320300.1) to find which zip file must be downloaded. The overview shows V29856 - 01.zip downloaded but delivery file only has V29851 - 01 V29856 - 01.zip instead.

I remember something like downloaded this sometimes return that I did checksum digest view used to check the integrity of files and went ahead with the buildstage.sh script to build the stadium. I have been able to complete installation without problems.

You could try the same thing or try to rename as you suggest.

I also recommend to contact support so that you will be clear and they will get to know.

  • Proposal Setup infrastructure - Oracle database, LDAP, Weblogic Server, part operational

    Hello Experts!

First of all, until I opened this topic I tried to search for similar positions that can hold at least part of the necessary information for me. This topic is that most related to the architecture of the whole system in the sense of the application that contains a part of database (oracle with data models database), the operational part (unix scripts called from the web interface), weblogic server where MS Java application runs and the last part is LDAP Setup for supported LDAP grups.

Currently confirmed architecture is for me unacceptable from the point of view of dorsal because everything would be installed on the same physical server (physical machine). From my point of view, there should be at least 3 physical separate servers:

    (1) Server database where the Oracle database is installed (say ommit backup and disaster at this stage recovery)

    (2) operation of servers shared between several applications to manage operational tasks and application configurations

    (3) separate server for Weblogic server, the LDAP server and Java application is

Given that 2 points are obvious to me and I provided them with really simplified form then 3. is not entirely clear to me mainly due to the fact that I am the architect of solution for datawarehausing, not for applications based on J2EE.  Under the following link:

webloic Oracle server needs a server infrastructure

I just read to support failover and balancing I should have two different boxes physical and Weblogic software installed on each of them. I know not so so many separate for the 3rd point above mentioned how boxes I need. I would appreciate if you can share your thoughts on this subject by considering the following points:

-scalability (1000 users at the same time)

    -further development

    -maintenance

    -installation costs

If you can guide also links to cover this topic, I'd be more than happy

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards

    Bolo

    Hi Bolo

Here's WDM of Oracle Identity management includes the installation of OID:

    Content

    I'm sorry for the confusion.

I meant "General guidelines of architecture of say that you should keep the boxes", for example: LDAP must be in another box of WLS, also database must be in a different area, this isn't really something related to Oracle products, it is only related to the definitions of architecture.

WebLogic Server at the end being that a java application is running in the virtual machine JAVA, WLS should run in the same box as the JVM as it comes to a unit in terms of functionality.

    Best regards
