  Firefox 40 change something that affects authentication: is no longer, it appears a name of user and password dialog box to prompt for credentials for embedded resources if they are hosted on a different server. These can include a framed page, an external script or an image, for example.

  If you right-click on the error page, "This frame" appears on the menu? If so, who might follow and Open Frame in a new tab to see if it is hosted on a different server? If you reload the page without frame, it works normally?

  If you are unable to work around the problem by unframing page, you can undo the change as follows. Of course, please be wary of this guest appearing on other sites where it can be to get you to reveal your credentials to another site.

  Hi dtater,

  You need comment a few lines in Authenticator.java. You can find this file in web works folder widget sdk. Based on authenticator.java goto invokeAuthenticationDialogAndStoreCredential and comment out the call to function invokeAndWait.

  After making this change you need to compile your application.

  Note: After changing it, all of your console application which are compiled using this sdk will have this fix.

• vRA 7: status of the Agent VRM HTTP 401: unauthorized

  I googled a lot now and have not found anything useful for me.

  I have configured the vRA and now I had a problem with my vCenter Agent. I checked my credentials from a hundred times, did a reinstall of the IaaS server and checked every single property in my IIS.

  But still get the connection error:

  A few facts to my configuration:

  vRA device and IaaS Server are in the same subnet, all necessary ports open. I use a systemaccount AD (connection as batch, log into the Service, a local administrator on the IaaS)

  Running on other ports seems to work very well. I tested on standalone and through tomcat.

  Thank you for your report, it is a step backwards and will be fixed in the next version. We have filed BUG 21083867 to follow up on this matter.

• Cisco TMS version "No error HTTP 401 response code" TMS 14.2.2 VCS &amp;. 7.2.1

  In a separate post, I have something related to this, but I would like an answer by the morning when I wake up so I just made a new post.

  So, I have synced up my TMS with my VCS and I can now click the Configuration tab and I was informed by a Cisco Expert here disable TLS and checking name of certificate and the crowd to get rid of the "error of HTTPS response" I had. I did a full synchronization on the TMS and VCS and now I have a message "error Code 401 HTTP response '. I unfortunately didn't write the exact words he said in red because I'm at home now to write this post and like a fool I did not write it.

  However, I think this has something to do with the verification of the user? Isn't it?

  Hi Prashant,

  OAM can return any type you want, and OAM will set the name/value for this type - you can put "propertytype" in the type column, the name and the attribute to return in their respective fields. 'Cookie' and 'HeaderVar' are the only types used by OAM WebGates, but your AccessGate (custom internal connector) should be able to retrieve the values of propertytype that defines OAM.

• How do to cancel/return HTTP request (because of slow SQL queries)

  Hi everyone - I have a flex application that requires a connection first. The connection queries my database to check if it's a name of user and password valid. 95% of the time the query to check if it's a name of user and password valid takes almost no time (less than one second) and the user connects very, very quickly. But on occasion, for some reason, the query takes a long time or something where the valid/invalid result is not returned for about 20 to 40 seconds. If I hit the button submit once again, it will return the SQL query and very quickly (in general) work very well. It is a simple query to find the name of user and password, so I think that something is maybe going on why it it takes so long.

  Two questions:

  1. no idea why this could happen that some of the time, and most of the time it works fine? Any suggestions or fix for this?

  2. an idea to solve this problem I came up with, I could just cancel and resend the request. Anyone know how I can cancel and return the most recent httprequest object? Should I have it checked to see if I do a query, and the result is not returned within 2 seconds, then cancel the current request and return? This does not solve the real problem, but it provide a workaround. If I was a user of connect, and a login page lasted 30 seconds, 5% of the time I connect, I get bored and leave or think that it does not work.

  Note: I may queries on the site, what happens the same question, but the connection of the user request is the most visible and the most important. I would like to find a solution to avoid other problems too.

  HTTPServcie has a requestTimeout property, I don't remember exactly if there is a default value. Together, a custom value and if you get an answer for this amount of time the HTTPService will trigger the ResultEvent. Inspect the event you could get some extra info to know that there was a timeout.

• Replaced body when setting status_line

  This is a special situation on a client system APEX. Before, we used mod_plsql, now we are on ADR 2.0.9.

  The problematic part is a procedure within a package called via a URL, for example http://myschema.MyProcedure.MyFunction?param1=ABC & param2 = def

  This function tests the input parameters, especially if this combination is allowed. In the case where it is not allowed, it returns the HTTP 401 status. This is done using:

  Update: some more information.

  Above PL/SQL code extract works as expected when used within a Restful WS (GET PLSQL). Here, it shows the body comes out with htp.p.

  It does NOT work correctly when called as a procedure via a URL.

  Thank you for your detailed report. This has always been an ADR/APEX listener behavior, if the OWA response headers contain an error state, then as soon as the status line is encountered, additional processing of the response is abandoned and the error page is generated.

  Process scheduler run reports SQR and get the error message as below:

  Error of the client Http Response Code: 401 - non authorized. Transfer HTTP error.

  My report node information is below:

  Home directory: /psreports

  Resource URI: SchedulerTransfer/ch

  Login ID: PS

  Password: mypass

  PeopleTools > IntegrationBroker > Configuration of integration > nodes: authentication option is selected password.

  The 2 roles, ReportDistAdmin and ProcessSchedulerAdmin are granted to the user PS

  Someone tell the error above due to incorrect or misspelled path for report repository in the configuration.properties file.

  I see no error in my configuration.

• BPEL variable return error Http 503 (construction of problem diagram)

  First of all if I posted this in the wrong forum, I apologize in advance.
  
  I recently installed the following Oracle SOA and I downloaded JDeveloper 10.1.3.3, I use the Oracle® BPEL Process Manager tutorial (http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/products/bpel/orderbooking.pdf) and trying to create a rule to copy, I noticed that some of my variables returning the following error:

  Exception: Server returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL: http://MYID.MYDOMAIN.com:80 / orabpel, default, CreditRatingService, CreditRatingService? WSDL
  
  I can directly access the WSDL and is visible in my console window Bpel too, yet JDeveloper appears to be wrong with it. I have setup a connection server integration to the BPEL server and there, when I try to validate WSDL I don't get any problems.
  
  I was wondering if someone could help because it got me stuck and I can not continue further.

  Disable the proxy settings in JDeveloper.
