Oracle has possibly install problem?
Hellohaving a problem with oracle 10g univexe after that I restarted my computer, I can't open the oracle database homepage not only, invites it the comand oracle, can't connect.
Although I try to reinstall over the oracle and it works + my data is still there, intact.

Thanks in advance
Hi Andre,
I think that
4. type, set ORACLE_HOME=C:\ORACLEXE\APP\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\server\bin
should be better

Just install Windows XP SP3 manually...
Before do you - make sure you have restored all the way back to Internet Explorer 6 * and * all your drivers for hardware devices are the latest version of each of the web pages by the hardware manufacturer (Microsoft did not your hardware - to be of course checked manually for the most recent driver by visiting the Web pages or the manufacturers yourself and find the latest driver for any model device (s) you have - map) motherboard chipset video, audio, network, etc.)
Get SP3 (manually) and save it to your desktop. (There's a link here.) [You are a COMPUTER professional for now.]
Install it.
Then restart at least a couple of times for a few minutes between each restart.
Download at least Internet Explorer 7 (if it is not Internet Explorer 8).
Install it.
Reset.
Now, try to get the updates through the normal web page (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) and see how much more you can get (100 +) and keep checking until you no longer have.
Back - let everyone know if it worked for you.

After you install the update of security KB2707511 when I try to open a ms - dos 16-bit program, I get the following error: "NTVDM. EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. " Application does not start. I can run without error command.com. Uninstall KB2707511 in Control Panel, add & delete, the application works. Install KB2707511 error occurs.
I have a lot of customers running a 16-bit MS-DOS - program that receives the same error. It seems not to be a malware problem, as it is homogeneous across many machines (unless, of course, all have the same problem of malware). By uninstalling the KB2707511 and the KB2709162 they all work. Something in these updates is in conflict with something in these dos programs causing the "NTVDM. Erorr EXE'.

Original title: cannot use Windows Update to install Windows XP SP3
I have done a complete reinstallation of Windows XP Pro from the original disc and managed to update to SP2. However, when I tried to upgrade to SP3, I got an error that "the site has encountered a problem and cannot display the page. I tried all the suggested fixes that I can find.
During the last attempt, I discovered that several dll is missing. Here's the msxml6.dll, wups2.dll, c:\windows\system32\wucltux.dll and c:\windows\system32\wuwebv.dll. If they are critical, where can I find them, and how do I get support.
In addition, mshtml.dll is available, but the DllRegisterServer could not find an entry point. Is this critical?
In any case, I still can I install Microsoft Update or download/install SP3.
The computer is an IBM R50e laptop.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Try to run this tool to windows update. This will help to re-register the dll
After its done. try again and do the update
hope this helps

Although the WebCam was working before, I had to uninstall the software due to other problems. To re - install the software from the CD, I now get an error message: "MsCamSvc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." I updated the new driver on the site of Ms. There is also no yellow or green light on the WebCam after installation and connection to USB port. I got the WebCam to an electronics store, and they tested the material; This works. Why it will not properly install on my computer?
