How I can solve. ?

ADF7,
Of course, there is a relationship between the java source files and file classes. When you compile your application, the result of the compilation are stored in the folder classes as well as the .data file, where jdev is trying to set up a sort of cache for, well I didn't really now. However remove the file classes (and the .data file) removes this cache. If jdev is not 'knowledge' of your application and is forced to recreate.
Sometimes I that for example deleting you a java file of your application the result of the last compilation source file remains in the folder classes. So, basically, it's always accessible by your code. Remove the file ensures that anything old is left.

If your application does not compile after removing the folder classes I would say that the application is messed up big. The information contained in the file classes must always be recoverable by compiling the entire project.

Make sure that your old saved the project if the folder classes contains any java file. If you know that EO is missing, you can check if the eo.xml file is returned in your way of the CBC as well as in the way classes.
During the compilation of the xml file is copied to the folder classes.

  • silent uninstall ODAC 12 c module 4 and Oracle development tools

    Hi all

    I need to uninstall a previously installed ODAC 12 c module 4 and Oracle Developer Tools silently. Oui\bin\setup.exe will be fine uninstall, but I want to uninstall it from script.

    There is no button to save a responsefile at the end of the dialog box.

    oui\bin\setup.exe-Enregistrer FichierDestination - odacr4 - deinst.rsp

    Does not complain, but does not record a response file.

    Installation notes describe uninstall them, but not without supervision/silencer.

    Any advice?

    Best regards

    Niels Jespersen

    Here's what I used to silently uninstall ODT with ODAC. It does not require a response file, but requires that you specify the Oracle home

    "{' C:\oracle\product\12.1.0\client_1\oui\bin\setup.exe-silent - waitforcompletion - nowait - uninstall" DEINSTALL_LIST = {"oracle.odac.client","12.1.0.2.0"} "' REMOVE_HOMES={"C:\oracle\product\12.1.0\client_1 "}"

    A log file is generated in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Oracle\Inventory\logs

  • Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio needs an Oracle Client for the Windows Installation?

    Hi everyone, I need to know if Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio is in need of a customer Oracle for Windows installed

    Thanks for your time

    Yes, you have the Oracle Client. However, you don't need to install the Oracle Client separately. ODT automatically includes the Oracle customer in each ODAC installation.

    The next version of the ODAC have an ODT version that uses ODP.NET, successful pilot. This version is not longer an Oracle Client.

    Table 1 t;

    DBMS_XMLGEN. Call CONVERT is here to ensure that the entity is referred to in elements (if any) will be unescaped back to their readable forms.

    If you know for sure that there's no entity occurrence, you can remove that extra step.

  • What version of Oracle Developer tools is installed?

    Hello. I have an Oracle 9i server, and I want to install Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio 2013. Can you please tell me which version should I install my projects to communicate with Oracle. I installed the xcopy Release 6 of oracle Developer Tools x 64 but I don't see the provider in the provider Visual Studio 2013 list. I need to intall something more? Version 12 does not support 9i. What can I do? My developer machine is Windows 7 x 64.

    There is no combination of development tools Oracle with the support of 2013 VS that will work with a 9i database.

    Do you really need development tools? (for example you create table adapters or entity templates?).  If all you need is the connectivity from code, an older version of ODP.NET (for example ODP.NET 10.2) should work with VS 2013.

    If you really need Oracle development tools, you must either use an earlier version of Visual Studio (and ODT 10.2) or you will need to use a newer version of the database.

  • Installation of Oracle development tools

    I have a client machine with Visual Studio 2012 and I want to install Oracle Developer Tools because I want to use Entity Framework to generate classes from first data base of my Oracle Database 11.2.0.3 that I can use to access the underlying database content.

    I found the ODAC 11.2 Release 5 with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Tools installation bits. I install it and it works.

    The question I have is that my machine has already Oracle Instant Client and ODAC (XCopy) installed, but Setup above seems to insist on installing all this yet once somewhere else. My question is whether or not it is possible to just install Oracle Developer Tools.

    I think you're asking:

    "If I can install a YES install (Oracle Universal Installer) 11.2.0.3 in the same location where I installed a 11.2.0.3 XCOPY release?

    If this is your question, the answer is no. If a product is YES only, as ODT is, you must install it in an Oracle YES official home. You can not install in an XCOPY installation location.

    Apart from the extra space is required, this should not have an impact.

    I installed the full

    now I'm in the good old ' [ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified] "error.

    I copied the tnsnames.ora even as that used on the db Server
    on the client 'C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\client_2\Network\Admin '.
    The host name is just like a normal ping works. TNSping is not available.
    but I get the [ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified] error.
    The listener is running and the instance as well since everything works on the source server.

    I tried with

    SET path=c:\oracle\product\11.1.0\client_2\bin

    but tnsping is still not recognized.

    sqlplus works however when I put in

    Hello

    No, actually, I mean try including your IP in tnsnames as

    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVER = DEDICATED)

    and then, try, you can also try SQLNET.authentication = (NONE), also make sure you provide safely

  • How to pass unicode text coded in an oracle Java-based feature?

    Hello. First, let me describe the characteristics of the system I'm working
    with.

    From SQLPlus...

    SQL * more: version 11.1.0.7.0 - Production on Fri May 15 11:54:34 2009

    Select * from nls_database_parameters
    where parameter = "NLS_CHARACTERSET.

    returns...

    WE8ISO8859P1

    Select * from nls_database_parameters
    where parameter = "NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET.

    returns...

    AL16UTF16

    I work with operating system is...

    SunOS hostname 5.10 Generic_120011-14 sun4u sparc SUNW, Netra-T12

    Now on my problem.

    I need to create a SQL Oracle function based on a static function in a Java
    class. One of its parameters must be a kind of UNICODE encoded text. The
    text will be anywhere from a few K of several megabytes.

    Then using a client that I try to pass data in the function function Oracle Java.

    Here is an attempt, I've done has not worked, but if all goes well he will clarify what he
    is that I'm doing. Note that finally I'm not just trying know
    Why I try does not work. Instead I'm trying to find out how
    pass large (up to 2 MB) strings of text UNICODE coded to one based on Java
    Oracle function.

    First the function code Java I'll start the Oracle works on.
    It is simplified to describe clearly what I'm having trouble making. Again I have
    do not just need to know why the following does not work, instead I'm in
    Find out what will work.

    /*=============================START JAVA=============================*/
    Import oracle.sql.NCLOB;

    public class CheckNCLOB {}
    public java.lang.String static checknclob (oracle.sql.NCLOB theNClob) {}
    return "thank you."
    }
    }
    /*=============================END JAVA===============================*/

    It compiles cleanly. I then load them into the database using this statement.

    loadjava - user [user_name] - password [CheckNCLOB.class]

    Then I connect to SQLPlus and run this command...

    FUNCTION to CREATE or REPLACE checknclob(theNClob NCLOB) RETURN VARCHAR2 AS LANGUAGE JAVA
    name 'CheckNCLOB.checknclob (oracle.sql.NCLOB) return java.lang.String ';
    /

    She runs as cleanly, returning "Created function."

    This is for the side server. Now, in SQLPlus (and other clients), I tried to
    do this...

    Select checknclob ('hello') of double;

    I get on a regular basis, regardless of the client used, I have this error...

    ORA-00932: inconsistent data types: waiting for an IN argument in position 1 which
    is an instance of an Oracle type convertible to an instance of a user defined
    Class Java got a type of Oracle that could not be converted to a java class

    I tried adding "n" to the string literal to identify explicitly as
    Unicode, but that did not help.

    Thanks for your help.

    See [Java - mapping data Types Developer's Guide | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/java.111/b31225/chsix.htm#BABJIJEB]
    (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/java.111/b31225/chsix.htm#BABJIJEB)

    You must declare the java method as an oracle.sql.CLOB parameter.

    Note:
    "Mappings for oracle.sql classes are best, because they preserve the data formats and require no conversion set of character, aside from the usual network conversions. These classes are particularly useful in applications that move data between SQL and Java.

    If you use JDev 10 g - you use OCJ to get some of the profiling aspects; less of a reason to use YCW 11 g.

  • Oracle admin tools.

    Hi gurus and admins.

    I've been lurking here for a while and I think that these groups are cool bad guys! I left school ("school" to our American friends!) recently (degree in computer science) and got a job as a junior oracle developer/dba with a small company near London. The company's "young and dynamic" (that is, you must work long hours ;(), but there are good people here and a lot of educational opportunities. We can choose our own tools for the work we do as long as we use the Subversion server for source (sql pl/sql - java - c) control and use Bugzilla for reporting. Given that these are browser based, is not a problem and I can use my Linux box (almost) all the time and the browser of my choice. Sometimes it is necessary to use Windows on customer sites - surprisingly, they tell us it's for security reasons - go figure! I want a tool light admin who is Open Source (I did a lot of work on free stuff when in College. Does anyone have any ideas? Mac.
