Oracle process has many flaws of page on windows 2003 64-bit with 16 GB of RAM
HelloWe have recently installed a new Oracle RAC database on a customer site:
2 - nodes x SP2 of Windows 2003 R2 Standard x 64
Oracle 10.2.0.6.0 64-bit
Each node has 16 GB of RAM
SGA_TARGET = 1536M
PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET = 1628M
Navigation via Enterprise Manager, there was a warning on "virtual memory an Excessive paging. So I opened the the Task Manager Windows on one of the nodes, and Yes, I see a considerable number of 'page fault' for the oracle.exe process. To give a slightly better idea, some relevant columns for this process I write values:
Proc Name Memory Use Max Mem Use Virtual Mem Size Page Faults
oracle.exe 2.690.692KB 2.959.324KB 3.053.889KB 2.914.171.009There are several other processes running on the server, nothing appears out of the ordinary for me (for example the process of Enterprise Manager, AntiVirus, winlogon.exe). The sum of the memory of these processes are using / used is about 1 GB.
Looking at the "performance" tab in the Task Manager, I see that:
Total Physical Memory = 16Gb
Available = 12Gb16Gb RAM
4Gb used by all processes on the server

Counters page fault does not distinguish between hard and soft faults, so you must combine meter information to deduce the number of hard faults.
To follow the pagination, log the following counters: memoire\ of Page/s, memoire\/s Cache faults defects and memoire\ reading of pages/sec. The first two of them follow the working sets and the file system Cache. Contributes to the counter of page reads you following hard page faults: a high rate of page faults associated with a high rate of page reads (as highlighted in the disk counters) indicates a high rate of hard faults. "

In short, a fair session connect or disconnect from the instance of database will increase the number of page faults (soft).

I have a Windows 2003 Server Orginal which work very well until today. But now, what my Page Progressbar enter Convert password on a Blank Page which Cener seen Windows Server 2003 Logo and Place enter username and password and other button Dident see.
But I can with the Tab key access to these places and enter my User and Pass.
But I don't see other things and I can't work my Windows 2003.
In Safemode State in equality with Normall State.
This state because I very strong and I never connect my server to Internet and USB key and all other things.
Now how to solve my problem

Slow printing between pages in Windows 7 64 bit
I recently updated my laptop HP Pavilion from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. When I try to print on my HP LaserJet 2015dn printer, it takes 4-5 minutes between each page. I am connected directly to the printer via the USB port.
The printer is listed as compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. Downloaded automatically from Windows 7 drivers. I also went to the HP site, and the only available drivers are universal, which do not correct the problem.
I am also connected via wireless to a HP OfficeJet printer. I have no problem printing with this machine.
All other Windows functions work correctly.
Someone at - it fixes for this problem with my LaserJet printer?

Oracle 11 g database release 2 installation on windows 7 (64-bit)
I downloaded Oracle 11 g release2, for the first time on my laptop, but before, I worked on the MySql database and oracle 10g too but they are uninstalled now. The problem is: it won't as I saw in the installation video. On my system, it requires a proxy server, by displaying a dialog box "connection failed." I doubt the second file I downloaded is not get extracted to the same folder. But I'm not sure if that was the problem, it (setup) would have even started or not? then I clicked on Setup and command line prompt appeared.
Then he asked to enter the email address.
and now comes the real problem, where it shows the dialog box 'connection failed', asking for the proxy server, the proxy, proxy user name, password for proxy port. I don't know what values to fill in these columns.

PL make sure you are using a version of OS certified/taken in charge (details in the above link Installation Guide) and that setup.exe is run with administrator privileges. Second, do not use names of directory with spaces in them (for example ' Oracle 11 g release 2') during the installation process. Thirdly, make sure that you unzip both zip installation files in a single directory. Fourth, many problems have been reported on Windows when the option to install the software but also to set up as a database were selected. People have reported success in just install the software first, and then creating the database separately, either manually or using DBCA (see docs for details on how to use DBCA)

I have the same situation as others reported.
My webcam has disappeared from the system.
Device Manager does not display a section imaging and I can't find any reference to the camera or webcam.
I tried to reinstall the driver for the webcam, but it ended with an error message and my webcam is always missing from the system.
The Dell Diagnostics checked the complete system with the results: "Dell PC Diagnostics did not identified the faults of material.
A permanent solution to this problem?
Edit: I ran Diagnostics again and this time more precisely on the CAMERA.

I said to friends as you suggest but anyway my webcam started working today after I logged in but later on subsequent connections, the unit has been even once not recognized by the system, and at the present time, there is no camera in the Device Manager, Skype or anywhere else on the computer.

I have my 10g oracle installed on windows server 2003 server.
On another system I have oracle 10g client is installed after edition of RedHat enterprise 4.
I want to connect my client to the database server.
I check using oracle universal install in that it shows installed products i.e.
Oracle 10g client is installed on the linex system.
but when I try to write a command like

The problem may occur if the display drivers are not updated or there is a corruption in the power Plan.

I just installed EBS R12 (12.0.4) 64-bit on OEL 5.4 64-bit, for our new client.
The installation was successful in general, but as usual I struck with this error "Page cannot be displayed" and the ie browser client-side.
I can start and stop the DbTier with State '0 '.
I can start and stop of the AppsTier with the status '0' (well, it shows that overall status at the end, but I see an error with 'SST')

I am running Windows 7 64 bit with Windows Media Center and I have a 2 TB external drive, I keep all my multimedia (music/movies) and I just realized that my entire music library has been duplicated several times that I now have 4-5 copies of each music file in my library on my external hard drive. It is not duplicate my movies (thank God!) Why is this happening? How can I get rid of the duplicates? and how can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Because Media Center uses the same library as WMP, I suggest that you try to reset the media library of WMP. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:
-Restart the PC.
-Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service. If its status is started, double-click on the service and click on stop.
-Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
-In this folder, delete the folder Media Player. If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the duplicates have been fixed. -

Direct installation of R12 on Windows 2008 64 bit is not supported. You install it on a Windows 32-bit operating system, and then migrate to Windows 64 - bit.

Problem:
We used to connect to an external application (zip code more than AFD) via extproc to search postal codes / addresses etc. However, after migration, the error:
ORA-06520: PL/SQL: error loading of external library
ORA-06522: could not load the DLL

1 does extproc for Oracle 64-bit 11.1.0.7 on Win 2003 64 - bit 32-bit DLL load?
2 when searched got a quite a lot of link on extproc32 (for all versions of UNIX), but not for Windows and found this link - what want to say it is not possible to load the 32-bit on Windows 64-bit installation DLL?

The ASM instance is made of the same technology as instances of database, as a result, his legacy his background process and its engine.DBW, lgwr, and all the other processes have the same idea, but they do different things in different instance types. On the communication between the database instance and the Oracle instance, this is done by two new background process introduced in version 10g, they are the FILIPE and the RBAL. RBAL performs world open disks in disk groups and FILIPE connects as a foreground process in the ASM instance. An Oracle instance is not before the write operation in the ASM instance, ASM instance don't gives instance information database where the data is located, through sound medatada.

You can try to go back to WMP 10, remove the driver framework user-mode (on the Panel-> Add/Remove Programs) and then update back to WMP 11. It might even work with WMP 10, so try before upgrade to WMP 11.
