Hello!
I am running windows xp sp3, the volume icon disappears from the taskbar on each reboot or shutdown/startup.kindly, help with any permanent solution known.i should go to the control panel and to recover it again whenever I turn my on.kindly advice, someone machine me a solution permanently this problem.i want to stay always on the taskbar the volume icon.
the honest answer is expected... Thank you!Hello
Try this:
Control Panel - device - sounds Manager - note manufacturer device name and info on the graduating model.
Double click and get the date and version of the driver (if 06 are dates, you use the default windows driver). Now
Click the DRIVER UPDATE (this can not find anything because MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Now LAW
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh the driver stack. Now, go to the manufacturer of the system and recover the last pilot audio/Hi-Fi as a fall.
Download it - SAVE - go to where you put it - RIGHT CLICK top - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT
Now do the same for the manufacturer of the device (the one that made the device - if you were using the default windows
you might need to look in the Device Manager - his new driver).Often, you will need to run the sound card drivers several times to get the latest version installed and will appear in
Manager - Sound. This is because they make back the drivers one at a time and then finally install the
most recent. Look in the Device Manager to be sure that you have installed the version of the driver is the one showing, if not
run the driver again (reset each time) until the shows a correct.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

I used the zoom on colorzilla a little feature, but now it has disappeared from my laptop. I googled colorzilla and had a link to www.colorzilla.com. The download link took me to www.colorzilla/firefox, and a notification "firefox has prevented" appeared.
Colorzilla is not recommended to mozilla/firefox?
Thank you
In Options > security - there is a labeled pref warn me when sites try to install add-ons = then click the Exceptions... button - you can add a colorzilla.com to this list at the top of this dialog box, and then click allow

In Firefox 4 beta 7, "Organize bookmarks" was replaced by "Show all bookmarks" to open the "library" window just as "View history" will open the library window. I have not 'Organize bookmarks' in my bookmarks menu. Help?
All the help Firefox instructions refer to "Organize bookmarks" on the Favorites menu, but I do not have this submenu since I upgraded to Firefox 4.0! I have a menu bookmarks, but it lacks just this "organise bookmarks" from the menu.
I use Firefox 4.0 on Windows Vista.
She is now called show all bookmarks.
It's a stupid change, but we should serve to those of FF.On Mac it still works in the same way as in previous versions. I guess it will be under Windows as well.

This problem may occur if network settings are changed.
You try to run the following command check if it helps.
a. press on the key Windows + X.
b. click on (Admin) command prompt.

Some favorites have disappeared from my bookmarks bar (after the update?)
Basically, the question says it all.
All of a sudden a lot of my favorites have disappeared from my bookmarks bar. I can't find them anywhere.
I used to have many of them, some in directories/folders, some 'free' - but never more than two branches down.
If you open the dialog box (Ctrl + Shift + b) library and explore there, can you find in a strange place?
If they're really gone, it is possible that the database file that stores the bookmarks and history is corrupted. COR - el has a few suggestions for it here: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/956965#answer-428511
Alternatively, you can immediately make a backup copy of your folder bookmarkbackups. This folder can be placed using:
Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.
I suggest you copy (not move, simply copy) the folder bookmarkbackups set to another location, such as your Documents or a USB flash drive. In this way time passes, you will always have older backups to restore if necessary.

Hello
Some time ago, I created a folder of bookmarks in Firefox Bookmarks and added a large number of bookmarks inside. Today, I wanted to cut the record, I did apparently, and paste it into a folder of Windows 7. When I tried to paste the folder, the command paste has not been highlighted for use. I went back to Firefox and my bookmarks folder went from bookmarks. So where is it. How can I recover my bookmarks folder? Using Firefox 3.6.13.If you have not closed Firefox, open the bookmarks library (in the menu, select Bookmarks organize bookmarks), and in the library, select organize > Cancel.
If you have already closed Firefox, or the Cancel option is not available, you can restore one of the automatic backups of bookmark (Firefox creates backups of bookmarks for the last 5 days that it has been used). For details on how to see the "backup restore" section of the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer .

Spontaneously disappeared from the bookmarks bar bookmarks folder
Support-
I just chose a folder of bookmarks (to fall to the bottom of the list of contents bookmarks) on the bookmarks bar. While scrolling to the bottom of the list to make a specific selection, my finger slipped the mouse.
Now this very 'critical folder of bookmarks' is not in the toolbar, and I was not able to locate its content anywhere in the expansion of details of bookmark.
There was no warning or bookmark delete messages, the entire bookmarks folder disappeared without a trace.
Why it never moved and more importantly, does Firefox keep backups bookmarks?
How could I recover the folder of bookmarks disappeared? And do not claim by using a backup. The last system backup prior to the latest changes to this missing bookmarks folder.
Thanks for your help.
Ed Terry
Have you tried a search of bookmark in this folder to see if you have moved by accident in another folder?
If you've accidentally deleted bookmarks, then use "organize > Cancel ' in the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) to recover.
Hold the button is the first of three buttons next to the back and forward buttons on the toolbar in the library (Bookmark Manager).
That only works if you have not closed Firefox. If it does not work so that you can restore bookmarks from a JSON backup in the folder bookmarkbackups.
- Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore
This will replace all current bookmarks and you lose the favorites that have been added since the backup was created.

Have been using Firefox Bookmarks for awhile. Just noticed recently when I open the bookmarks that everything is there except the option to 'Organize Favorites '. I tried to rename a folder, but two names - organize bookmarks is missing from the top of the list.
Is this good, unusual or the result of a virus or what?
Should I reinstall Foxfire. I don't want to lose all the files.
Appreciate any advice. THXIn the Firefox Orange button > bookmarks > show all bookmarks > organize etc.

Records on the page "organize bookmarks" show only icons - names of bookmarks disappeared. Impossible to tell what bookkmarks they are. How to restore the names that were once next icons?
You can place the mouse pointer on the border between the left and right panes and drag the border with the left mouse button to the right to this wider left pane.
If this does not work or stay after you restart Firefox, then see:
