  Is there a way to create an adapter of JCA with OSB and weblogic server database without using JDeveloper and SOA Suite 11 g?
  We use the 10.3.1 OSB and Im trying to find a way to implement an outgoing connection to the database in order to write data with a JCA adapter.
  I read this in an old NET:
  
  A new version of the Oracle Service Bus (OSB 10.3.1) is now available, quick list of new features of OSB:
  
  * JCA Transport with certified JCA adapters
  * Support for generate config.jar of command-line or ant task.
  * Improvements to the native MQ Series Transport.
  * New API to support the SOA Management Pack for the BSO.
  
  But I can't find a way. any information would be great and even better a kind of example / tutorial

  SOA Suite 11 is not required to use the JCA in OSB 10.3.1 adapters. JDEV 10.3.1 with extensions of SOA is required, with which we cannot use in OSB 10.3.1 JCA adapters.

  We use the 10.3.1 OSB and Im trying to find a way to implement an outgoing connection to the database in order to write data with a JCA adapter.

  (1) open project Jdev (BEPEL/Ombudsman)
  (2) create links of partner for the DB adapter
  (3) in the JDEV project, there will be wsdl created for the partner link. This made WSDL refers to another wsdl and xsd.
  (4) import all the dependencies of the WSDL in OSB
  (5) create a BS/PS based on wsdl and download the corresponding toplink file above wsdl (accessible to the general public using jdev project).

  Let me know if the steps above are not clear

  I learned, that there is no more "Oracle Enterprise Server Bus (OESB)" offered to the Oracle. Oracle has the place, but offers Oracle Service BUS (OSB). I am confuse on these two different products and how Oracle offers to clients in the following way:
  
  (1) someone told me that Oracle still offer "OESB" as the product group within "Oracle AS EE" which is included in the "WebLogic Suite", is it true? Is there any document of Oralce indicating this fact?
  
  (2) if there is no more ' Oracle ESB (OESB) "why Oracle always have the data sheet on their Web site: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/esb/pdf/ds_esb_v10_1_3.pdf".
  
  (3) a presentation of Oracle stated that "OESB" will be changed to 'Mediator in SOA 11 g', is this correct? So how different in terms of functionality between 'OESB' and 'Mediator (in SOA 11g)'
  
  (4) how the different between "OSB" and "OESB?

  (1) fix the price list should indicate this.

  (2) it is still supported, and can be bought.

  (3) OK, done. The functionality remains the same, although the Ombudsman maintains state.

  (4) very different. 11 g architecture changes with the introduction of the SCA. OSB is not part of this architecture because it is designed to the mediation of the composite, while the Ombudsman is used for mediation in the composite. OSB has many more functions. Too numerous to list.

  This blog is a good starting point. Bottom line is that both are strategic for Oracle and currently have no intention to drop one of them.

• QML and C++ integration

  I have a problem with QML and C++ integration.

  I have second attached to hand qml (next to main.qml):

  "Implementation tax" contains a chapter on 3 third-party integrations. Is that what you are looking for?  If not, can you clarify what you mean by 'integration with 3rd party applications'?

  I assume you mean unique vs unique index constraints?

  The sole (or Primary Key) constraints provide additional metadata that can be used by the optimizer.
  An index will be used to help the database to apply the constraint (it is created, or if there is it will be "captured" by coercion)

• How to set up the osb and soa in the only area

  hope all are well.
  
  Sorry if this question is already posted.
  
  I installed wls 10.3.6 and osb 11.1.1.6 & SOA 11.1.1.6 and cofiguration of field as successful.
  in the Setup area, I chose the osb and soa.
  
  all (wls, osb, soa) servers are increasing, but soa_infra is declining. I can't see soa folder in Ms.
  
  where is the problem please give the solution for this...

  It's the difference,

  Autonomous OBIEE - has no any solution of BI preconstruitse, we build the solution based on our requirement with the suite of products.

  Integrated OBIEE or OBI Apps - are built on standalone. It provides this stand-alone version features all, moreover, it has predefined solutions.

  If Yes, then I would like to improve my existing project of ALSB 2.6 to 3.0 OSB or ALSB 3.0.

  OSB/ALSB 3.0 and OSB 11 g are two different versions. Even in 11g, the latest version available is 11.1.1.5. Please see-

  OSB 11 g travels Weblogic 11 g (10.3.x). OSB 11.1.1.5 gets deployed on top of Weblogic 10.3.5

• Question of OSB and design of server SOA (Ombudsman)

  As the OSB of strategic BSE and is used for external services does make sense that all communication must go out by the OSB.
  For example if I have a request that comes in is routed through the OSB and called then a composite of backend that contains a BPEL located on the server Oracle SOA calling multiple services outside (CRM, SAP etc...) Would all calls outside the BPEL then return to the OSB and external services (via proxy/serv.) This seems to add many network stretches to the overall architecture.
  I can't really find a diagram to explain this, but a consumer of external services can call stack Oracle SOA coming in through the OSB (for the security such as OWSM gateway 11 g does not support bridge yet.) Then turns into CDM and then transmitted to the Oracle SOA server which has a composite service with BPEL, which manages several calls to internal and external services. Those external requiring a transformation back into the format of service providers.
  How does this flow?

  OSB is to inter connectivity between SOA Suite Composites. Mediator of the Oracle is intra SOA Composites, for example work and mediation within a Composite of SOA services.

  For your use case, you're right about incoming messages to get out messages they also come out through the OSB to map the CDM of the customer specifications.

  In the community of ApEx, I see a lot of developers to extend their applications with JavaScript and JSON libraries. I would do the same thing to enjoy all the beautiful widgets, gadgets and gizmos that have been developed in the world of script.

  Todd,

  We have certainly will continue work on the library, with the main objective on the realization of full namespace (to reduce the risk of collisions with different libraries functions) and the integration of jquery (making use of the features of the great library of basic such as chaining DOM selectors, improved, etc., but not of jquery UI).

  While it is currently possible to integrate with other libraries and many people have had great results with it, there are other plans for the future which should make life easier. To know custom item types, which allows developers to more easily code and reuse 3rd widgets to party in their applications.

  Another plan is what we call "Dynamic action", which will allow developers to set declaratively in the APEX for example activation, deactivation, display client side logic and hiding items. It is about making life easier for developers who do not want to dirty their hands with JavaScript, but still want to achieve such functionality in their applications.

  But I do not think that we could reach a point where "users have no need to use 3 parties. We are not all things to all people, different people have different requirements and tastes. For this reason, providing the best scalability (through custom item types) is the goal.

  We will also improve the documentation on the library, since 3.1, we had a few docs in chapter API user guide, but we will look to improve it with more detailed in future examples.

• OSB and integration continues (CI)

  We put our OSB projects in SVN for version control. What I want to do seems simple and is very common in the Java community. We would use a test OSB server to be automatically propagated with OSB of a version control system (svn) projects and run a number of automatic tests on it (SoapUI or SOAPUnit or other...). To do this, we need the following automated tasks (ANT or other).
  
  1. projects of OSB checkout (Welogic workshop)
  2. create sbconfig.jar
  3. import sbconfig.jar Test OSB Server
  4 run tests
  
  3 and 4. are not very complicated. There are many samples with import.py scripts. 1 What if complicated, just do a checkout svn on some projects.
  
  2. what seems to be more complicated. If I have read there are no scripts to create a sbconfig.jar of weblogic/Eclipse workshop OSB projects in a workspace. You can only create a sbconfig.jar by exporting from a running server instance. It's a little disappointing. So, how to proceed?
  
  A somewhat complicated approach:
  
  1. start an instance of the CI Server deployment server
  2 check out the projects in the local workspace on the CI Server
  3. automatically post to the deployment server (somehow trigger some classes of Weblogic Workshop/Eclipse?)
  4 make an export sbconfig.jar on the deployment server
  5-> 3. above and to
  
  DOES THIS SOUND OK OR PLAIN ST. F.F.?
  
  Or another approach would be:
  
  Create a script by hand the construction sbconfig.jar. This would have a lot of work and be very specific to our situation. Use this script. HAS ANYONE DONE SOMETHING LIKE...
  
  To make things even more complicated, we use the DB of JCA adapter. I read also there was some problems with automatic deployments when you use JCA adapters.
  
  If the only answers I seek if it is possible to do fully automated deployments (including the creation of sbconfig.jars using a code repository) for integration continues. I can't believe that we are the only ones to try to pursue this. Please help us and give us some tips and guidelines (if possible with script examples) to help us reach our goal...

  We had / have the same problem but only work around we have with current version 10.0 is export project of a development server config.

  10gR 3 seems to have the solution by creating config jar of the .metadata folder. Now I'm wondering if this creative idea will help the real problems, as in most of the projects more generally more then a develer, so how to merge or what .metadata folder to put in the repository to create the jar config? should someone correct me here?

  I don't know if it's not useful, but surely helps you decide which approach will follow you. I'd be more than happy to hear what approach you picked up for that matter, as we have here similar environment.
