Oscilloscope agilent DSO 80404 B, PB acquisition with labview, URGENT pilot

Hello

I used a tilt. Agilent DSO 80404 B, I would like to acquire the trace as represented on l tilt (see figure of the first file oscilloDSO 80404B as an attachment). Pour CELA j use under labview 8.0. Specifications 8000 series labview drivers offered to pay it, I used the instance en VI "only waveform playback. I was supposed to be able to represent this track on my computer no via such labview on the tilt. but it is a problem: the trace n is not parfaiteet represents formed staircase as you can utiiese in the second file called form_byte.

Could someone help me get the data via labiew correctly IE like the one depicted on the tilt?

Thanks in advance

The "revision of the driver: 2.1 with labview 8.0 EST." Yes I used the examples, but the result is without effect.

I post you used VI.

Waiting for your answer I immerse myself in the privileges that you sent me.

Thanks in advance for your repnse.

I have DAQ USB-1608FS from Measurement Computing company, and I was trying to see if it is possible to use

This data acquisition with labview 2012. I tried to download the drivers from their company http://www.mccdaq.com/usb-data-acquisition/USB-1608FS.aspx

but when I tried to use labview in the DAQmx the DAQ tool is not detect it by LabView. So, if anybody out there knows if this data acquisition

really can work with labview, please let me know.

Their driver seems to be ULx http://www.mccdaq.com/daq-software/universal-library-extensions-lv.aspx

and he said that he supports LabVIEW 2012. I suppose you open a sample and the device does not appear? The device is displayed in the Windows Device Manager? It seems that this driver/device will work, there may be just a few questions it initialize properly on your machine (either with Windows or Measurement Computing software). You must be to open a debate on their forums or call their support help line.

  • Agilent 488.2 with Labview

I have an Agilent 82357 B USB GPIB and have provided the code that uses GPIB read and write functions. I have installation OR MAX and Agilent connection Expert correctly. The program doesn't error but write and read timeout functions and does not work. I troubleshoot wrote simple code using VISA and they work. I wrote the same code using the GPIB functions and it does not work and after I run code written in VISA no onger work. I know that Agilent replaces the gpib - 32.dll with their version which redirects to their code.

My question is, is there anyway to make the GPIB LabVIEW calls working with Agilent GPIB device and of course library GPIB? I think that the answer is, but I saw a post where someone said they do. I want just a definitive answer until I give the bad news.

While there were some vendors implementing their GPIB drivers with the same function calls or use (ibwrt, Bird, etc.). I don't think Agilent has already done this and I used the maps of Agilent since the time they were still Hewlett-Packard. I'd love to see the post where somebody said, they could use the LabVIEW GPIB functions with a controller of Agilent.

So, the answer is not to my knowledge. What you need to do is to use VISA. Enable Tulip support NOR-MAX and it should work.

  • Installation DAQmx 9.1.1 with LabView 8.2, but focused on the acquisition of library data do not appear

I'm under LabView 8.2 on Windows XP, with an NI PCI-MIO-16XE-50 card. I tried to install DAQmx 9.1.1 on my system, but libraries DAQ do they not appear in the folder C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib.

Here is the chronology of the events:

After you add the DAQ card to my computer, I installed DAQmx 9.4. When I learned that 9.4 DAQmx is incompatible with LabView 8.2, I uninstalled and replaced with DAQmx 9.1.1 and installed the patch.

I can see my device in MAX, but DAQ Assistant is not listed under functions > Express > entry in LabView.

From advice on forums, I tried using Add/Remove programs to change NI DAQmx 9.1.1. Under 'Application Development Support' I see "Support of LabView 8.2" has a green check mark, but the text in the right panel says "this feature will not be installed. A newer version of this product is already installed on your computer. »

I tried to "Repair" NI DAQmx 9.1.1 (and patch), but did not see a difference.

I guess I need to uninstall the latest version of "Support of LabVIEW 8.2" before installing OR-DAQ 9.1.1, but there is no element of that name in Add/Remove Programs > National Instruments software. How uninstall this version of LabView Support for DAQmx 9.1.1 will install correctly?

Or, if this is not the source of my problem, what is?

    Thank you!

  • The use of Global Mapper SDK with LabVIEW

I am really new to the use of any SDK with LabVIEW.The basic idea behind this is to trace the lat and long coordinates in global map cutomized app via Labview.I mean I'm labview data acquisition, but I want to display coordinates in global map. For what I do. I don, t have much abt MFC idea too.

    Hello together,

I found a few resources on the Global Mapper site that you might find useful. They seem to have the same issues as you, and an employee helped answer a few questions.

Global Mapper software LabVIEW SDK: http://www.globalmapperforum.com/forums/technical-support/8917-global-mapper-sdk-labview-software.ht...

  • Data acquisition in LabView for other suppliers DAQ cards that NEITHER

    Hello

I am a beginner in LabView programming. I have a 32 channels base PCI card DAQ (i.e. PCI-1602 of the manufacturer, ICPDAS) and I want it to interface with Labview 8.5.

So how cards DAQ in Labview 8.5, which are manufactured by other suppliers that NEITHER? Should I DAQmx (or some other driver) for that?

What are the other drivers/components required to access of data PCI-1602 (device) of LabView 8.5 acquisition card?

(1602-PCI card driver are installed in my win XP and dispalyed in Device Manager).

Please provide some tutorial above mentioned the problem to interface.

Please guide me in this regard. Thank you

(1602-PCI card driver are installed in my win XP and dispalyed in Device Manager). Ok.  Then take you care of my 2 answers above.

Please provide some tutorial above mentioned the problem to interface. To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest that you try to watch some of these tutorials.

Please guide me in this regard. Thank you

According to what you do with the DAQ cards, they can do the job however, from experience, there are some functions that I could achieve with the cards NOR that I couldn't with 3rd-party maufacturers.  This does not mean that this is your case. However, it is worth noting that it took me a while to understand why the code has worked with a single data acquisition card (NOR) but not another (Non-OR).

The drivers that you have installed may or may not include examples and code in VI.  They may be DLL.  If this is the case, you can write LabVIEW "Wrappers" around these functions, as it will simplify your life.  If the drivers are in the form of DLLs, and there are no examples of LabvIEW or available VI, you must read on node library function call.

  • How to read data from the unit to acquire data with LabVIEW

Hello everyone, I'm new with LabVIEW and I need help. How to build LabVIEW program to read and store the data acquisition unit temperature data. the data can be any store such as Excel or a text file? Thank you.

Start passing by examples of LabVIEW.  Go to help-> find examples.  There are several examples here just for the analog input and then even more for logging data to a file.  After that, show us what you have and we can guide you a little better that way.

  • You use HP 4156 instrument with Labview 2010 in Windows 7

We recently bought Labview 2010 for Windows 7 and some software porting, we had on Labview 6.  These programs of control of two instruments: HP (Agilent) 4156A parameter Analyzer and the Keithley 7001 switch system.  When I looked for the drivers of instruments for these two systems, they were no longer available for Labview 2009 and associated NI-VISA 3.2 driver is not compatible with Windows 7.  You have any suggestions on how we can run Labview 2010 on Windows 7 with the ch (Agilent) 4156 A and Keithley 7001?

A pilot in 2009 can be loaded in 2010 and this is the minimum VISA version, you can use. You need not even the driver of instruments most recent. Just run your existing code.

  • Raspberry PI connected with usb for laptop with Labview

    Hello

Please allow me to introduce myself: my name is Bob and I just graduated from the Bachelor of applied science (Physics), in the Netherlands. In education, I followed a course of programming in Labview. However, the course was not very well if I want to start from scratch. (my programming skills are very poor).

My goal is to learn the basics of programming in Labview. I want to measure the temperature with a probe for example and read this in Labview. I need a data acquisition for this system. I have a raspberry PI in my possession and I was wondering if I could use it to read the temperature from the USB port of my laptop using the PI raspberry. Is this possible? And I have to run some sort of program on the raspberry PI? Or I could better use another device (Arduino maybe?).

I hope someone could help me to help me get started with Labview. I'm looking forward to learn how to work with Labview and launch a few projects.

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

Are you comfortable with writing code on the invoice, pro forma raspberry? This is where you write the code for the acquisition of data and code to send it on the usb as a RS232 serial port. The LabVIEW program would receive all this and it is a very simple program. There is a tool called Linx box that does all this for the arduino.

  • IMAQ PCI-1424 compatibility with Labview 8.6

Hi, the computer that I used for image analysis had a broken motherboard issue, and I replaced it with a new one. I removed both the drives and the jury from the old computer to the new and then installed IMAQ Labview 8.6, but Labview 8.6 is not compatible with the software programmed with labview 5.0, so I uninstalled Labview 8.6 and re-installed Labview 6.0 image processing. I still have some problems to run the Analyzer software and image processing. After you have uninstalled the software or labview, the computer does not start correctly, poping up error as information "check your hard drive to ensure that it is properly configured and completed. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer."

Some basic information on this computer and the image acquisition system (introduced in 2000) are as follows:

    • Windows 2000 operating system;
    • LabVIEW 5.0 basic package;
    • IMAQ vision for Labview advanced;
    • IMAQ PCI-1408, Cables IMAQ-BNC-1 and or-IMAQ for Windows NT / 95;

-What hardware IMAQ I use compatible with Labview 6.0 or 8.6? Should I install also drivers for the hardware of the IMAQ when I remove the card IMAQ? All the solutions for my problems? Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi simpra,.

Here are two links to articles that list compatibility between Windows & LabVIEW and LabVIEW and IMAQ.   Why do you say that the image processign software was not compatible with the LV 8.6?  A message appear?  Or it simply did not work?  Also, are you talking about Module Vision Development, by chance?

I'm afraid that I can't help hard drive corruption, if that's the case here.  Have you been able to go beyond that?

My suggestion is to upgrade to the latest version possible.

    I hope this helps!

  • VIMBA with Labview

    Hello

is there anyone who have successfully used VIMBA SDK with Labview?

You need to download version 1.3

    Use the LabVIEW import DLL

Point to the VimbaC dll, not C++

Put _WIN32 in the compiler directives.  This you will get part of the way.

  • NI 9148 with LabView module detection

    Hello

I got the task of creating a deployable (compiled) software to a DAQ system with NI 9148 Ethernet RIO basket background and various modules. The user must have the ability to change the module type and the location of the different tests, so the application must detect (or the user specify) what modules are at what positions.

I watched the blockset CRY, however this chassis is not supported and the lowest level blocks are protected. Is it possible to read the serial number of the modules connected to the 9148 OR position, type, and if all goes well?

    Thanks for any help!
