So for yucks, I brought my Blue ray for a House of friends who had 11 + on the scale of internet speed against my 2.57.
Everything was working on his wireless wi - fi.
So it seems Netflix needs more than 2.5 Mbps.

Sony BDP S3100 cannot connect to the server from Sony for Hulu/Netlix/etc.

OTP-S3100 will not connect to Netflix
Have installed a BDP-S3100 and cannot connect to Netflix. He spent a lot of time on the chat support without success (both with Sony and Netflix). Here are the details:
