  So I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite P855-S5200 and all works well, including most of the Internet features.

  The problem I have is that no matter what internet service provider, I use some things won t work. For example, you place your order online from Amazon it allows me to get at the cash register, but then gets stuck on the loading screen when it hits the payment.

  On sites like the Disney Store he won t even let put me things in the bag. I've never had this problem with any other computer and other computers in my House seem to work well. It s really starting to irritate me so if anyone has a solution please help!

  I have just re-built a S5200-902 from zero (new hard drive & fan) installed WinXP SP2 and then found out I have not installed the Toshiba s/w in the right order. Is it possible to get the common Modules on the laptop without having to re - install from the beginning again? I uninstalled all the Toshiba downloads I see I put on it, but still won't take the common Modules.

  Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  If you install OS from Microsoft full version CD it is very important to install common modules first. In my opinion, you should install new OS.

  Thank you for posting. The BDPS790 is able to output 4K using both outputs HDMI. If you look at the TV XBR55/65X900A I would have them perform no upscaling as the Bravia engine in them is great.

• Loss of connection on all the players of the OTP

  We just noticed this today. All players (BDP-S390, S3200, S3500) faced this problem.

  Does anyone know if they do a server maintenance, or are simply down?

  All players show the connection is OK, but no real connection that passes at all.

  They all present connection errors when you try to access any application.

  OTP-S390 & S3200 on WIRED, S3500 the wireless.

  They all worked perfectly yesterday.

  Unfortunately, I've never tried to boot on the USB and in my opinion it s is not possible. As far as I know on some Toshiba units, you can boot from an SD card but I don't think that it of possible to boot from a USB

  I found the info that any satellite 5200-902 comes with the BT module. Because of this, I'm not sure if other portable series 5200 have BT antenna inside. Before you buy this module, be sure that you can use it at 100%. Toshiba service in your country partner has information you need.

  Otherwise you can use the little stick USB BT. It is very simple to use.

  I have a Satellite S5200-902 and it was really good to use for me actually... Once I received a system error message and might start Windows more. Anyway... I tried to reinstall the OS, but I can't boot from the recovery CD. The CD is ok because I tried it on my other computer. I press F12 for the boot menu option it shows these items as HARD - disk drive - CD drive.

  I choose CD and nothing happens. He always tries to start from the HARD drive. I installed the Windows on the HD satellite on my other computer and it worked very well. He has installed the system but if I put the HD Toshiba Satellite does not start windows. It blocks the laptop.

  BIOS version is 1.30 and I don't know how to install and update the bios 1.8 or something on it, because I don't know how to install it without windows. I now have no idea how to go ahead?

  In my opinion, there is something wrong with the internal drive and so the laptop can not boot from the recovery CD.

• BDP s5200

  I have a BDP S5200.  I bought this last fall and it was working fine.  Put with another TV last night and I can't connect to the internet server.  I get the "connection status cannot be confirmed.  Error message cannot communicate with the server.  I have spent hours going through all configurations of internet facility, have my primary and secondary DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 settings.  I read a lot of posts to google as well as discussions in this forum.  I can connect to the router wireless very well and can access the internet on the drive blu - ray very well.  But I can't connect to the server for an update of software or use of Netflix.  Are there recent fixes for this?

  Finally solved my problem.  I just downloaded the latest firmware update and installed via USB, as I could not update via internet.  Everything works beautifully.

• OTP-S3100 will not connect to Netflix

  Have installed a BDP-S3100 and cannot connect to Netflix. He spent a lot of time on the chat support without success (both with Sony and Netflix). Here are the details:

  Properties such as bharosa.uio.default.ChallengeEmail.message.subject, bharosa.uio.default.ChallengeEmail.message.body with crushed values should go under client_resource_en.properties and set the bharosa.uio.default.ChallengeEmail.message.from.address property to bharosa_server.properties.

  I have Sony BD - OTP BX510 player (Costco).

  YUPP TV app's question. Not sure why app YUPPTV Streaming always complains. "reading interrupted by low speed network. Please check to isp. Other applications (Netflix, Amazon OK IV works).

  YUPPTV app worked perfectly before. Not sure why recent update broke the App Streaming TV YUPP.

  Please do not say that the bandwidth is low. Bandwidth is more than enough for SIMPLE TV streaming as minimum requirement according to their site Web is 2 Mbps.

  I comcase turbo (25 Mbps) connection. Check bandwidth using speedtest

  Download speed: 12 + Mbps

  Download speed: 5 + Mbps

  Even I am facing the same issue with Yupp TV since the last update on June 4. I have seen this issue come immediately after the update of the firmware... I hope that this problem is resolved in the next firmware update...

  But in step 2 c, I can't find the menu "Media Remote Device Registration. There are 7 submenu and one thing related to the remote control, that I can see is "registered remote devices" at the bottom.

  When I look for manual, (page 31 in BDP-S3100), it shows correct (manual watch also the submenu only 7). I have updated the firmware. I don't know WHAT OTP-S3100 supported media product description control app. What Miss me?
