• Firefox 40 break our web application

  Our web application breaks with the upgrade to FF v40. On one of the pages, the user can click on a button that will run a report in a modal popup window. The report is extracted from our (RePortal) report server and a Crystal report. The user before v40 was invited to their powers AD run the report. Now FF need not the AD to the user credentials and throws just a 401 error, saying that the user is not allowed... of course their not that they didn't connect again. Downgraded to 39 and everything works again.

  Not every user has access to some data to report.

  Temporary work around must open a FF tab and a newspaper directly in RePortal server then come back to our web application and to run the report.

• We pluin NPAPI to our application, but pluings will be blocked soon. Can you suggest an alternative to put our Navigator application?

  There are currently a work for our applications NPAPI plugin that works well in Firefox and Chrome. However, because plugins are getting blocked in the near future, we are looking for alternatives. Is it possible to transfer our web application so that it works with the same code in Firefox and Chrome (in Windows and Mac)?

  Firefox won't block plugins. Where did you read that? Plugins will need to be clicked to be activated, but they will always work.

• You removed the notification of 'out' when close FireFox v18 and above. Can this be restored? (our Ajax application depended on)

  Since version 18, FireFox sends more notification of 'out' when the browser is closed. Our Ajax application depends on this notification to logout of the application. Now, without such notification, the session of the app not close when the user closes their browser.

  Note that other browsers (for example. IE and Chrome) send this notification of release.

• I'm not able to install both on the same PC LabVIEW applications. I have uninstall the first application in order to install the second. Is there a way to avoid this?

  I wrote two LabVIEW applications. The first acquires data from three different devices, displays the data and writes it to a file. The second application reads the data and displays it on the screen.

  Can I install the first application and run it, but I can only install the second application if I uninstall the first application.

  Any ideas as to why this is happening?

  You install applications by using a Setup program created with the application builder to LV?

  What LV version do you use?

  You have a dedicated for each installer build script, or do you still want to change the settings of a single build script (which would be a reason for this behavior!)?

• My colleague and I are editing our first UCCX Call Center Script to include Spanish. Help

  My colleague and I are editing our Call Center the existing script maps. This is our first attempt to script UCCX. They need to break the script in 2 locations, one that already exists for English and a copy of the menu for a Spanish version.  We have tried to include an option for Spanish 2.  We did not want to press 1 for English user, but can if necessary. English is supposed to drop through the menu new or existing. 2 for Spanish is doing nothing.  It acts as if you press anything even if we have an entry identified as Language_Choice and a filter of 2, for the appellant to the Enter key.

• How to detect the upgrade of our own application

  We use the CodeModuleListener to detect any deletion of the application and the addition. If our request is deleted, we get the removal of module for our own application, then we'd work dé - a correct initialization. However when our application is upgraded, we would get the deletion of the module for our own application as well, so we would trigger of - initialization, falsely, that is really not desirable.

  Right now, we allow the upgrade through our own UI instead of the browser as our own UI upgrade would be made necessary by a specific menu and we know that an update will happen.

  However the upgrade via browser, we do not remove current module comes from our application upgrade or remove our application by users. Just wonder if there is anyway to detect our own upgrade of the application.

  Furthermore, permanent storage objects are not deleted during upgrade of the application and will be removed during the removal of the application, which is the expected behavior. It's just, there are some extra that we have informed our server during the removal of the application.

  I wanted to say that you must create a new application that will install your original application and the download link would point to the new application.
  In this way, users will download the new app (the Installer) and he will decide that this is a new installation or an upgrade for your initial application.

Tried to change the Workspace window, opening to a different file type, a simple .mov file import, but the workspace never shows up.   Unless I misunderstood the question, you can do what you want to do. Apple does not allow to circumvent their public applications store and host on a Web site. The exception is an enterprise application, which requires a company to both Apple and Adobe account. This type of business application can be distributed only within the company.   There was a bug in all versions of Viewer 24 and earlier that have arisen during the last iOS updated acme outside. If you upgrade to v25 or later version the issue will go away.

  We did the IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera - research looking for a touch of common function which was unused to use to help our application context key - and settles on the F9 key.
  Is there a way to ensure that the key F9 key can be passed to the page - it seems doing nothing in Firefox, but is not passed to the page. -Thanks!

  Firefox does not window.event as IE does. He never has. Modern browsers can pass the event handler inline object. Here is an example. I don't know if older browsers support this (it works in IE8):

  We are a University use an updated internal development of e-Learning applications which makes use of a framework rich client (ZK - www.zkoss.org). For reasons of compatibility with this application, as well as other general factors, we have standardized on FF 3.6 browser for all our desktop computers. Normally, we will review our browser selection once a year and make the changes/updates to compatibility level for 3 rd-party libraries we use and our own code, in order to address new developments in the browser market.

  However the FF of the new policy of difficult liberation our lives check. FF 6 came out just months after 5 FF. We perform an upgrade, we have to do a systematic series of tests, settings, changes etc. regression tests. The cost is not possible for us to do this every 3 months! So please can anyone point us to a clear release plan for FF that shows, for each version:

  a. Release date
  b. End-of-support date
  c. Release notes
  d. Compatibility in terms of HTML and Javascript/ECMAScript versions.

  New versions are will be released every 6 weeks, so until Mozilla announced they will do than support for a LTS version for business 'customers', you guys left to swing in the breeze as well as to be able to plan for the future with Firefox. I think that as long as the said decision is taken, support for Firefox 3.6 versions will continue. A 3.6.22 release is under development right now, probably for immediate release next week.

  As far as the end of support dates, as each new version is the version support ends for the previous version, with the exception of 3.6.x. currently Firefox 3.6.x and 6.0.x are the only versions that receive security updates. Firefox 4.0 and 5.0 is not 'supported' any longer.

• Click of the mouse stops working after you start the first application

  Hard to explain this problem.  First time I click on what either in an application after computer startup (Word, Excel, etc.) the arrow of the mouse moves, but the click does not, anywhere, not on the desktop, taskbar anywhere.  Accentuates not delayed anything either.  But when I press ctrl-alt-delete, move the arrow down to start the Task Manager and click here, then click Start to work and things get even once highlighted and everything seems normal.  HP Pavilion dv9000t Vista Home Premium 32-bit Intel Core 2 duo, 2 GHz, 2GBDDR, this is going on for about 6 months now.  I just noticed, I installed a trackball logitek, and after installation, it does the same thing.
