• Cannot display objects from database using Visual Studio Tools

  Recently, I downloaded and installed the Oracle tools for Visual Studio (Oracle 11 g ODAC 11.1.0.7.20 with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio). I was able to create a connection to the target database using the ODP.net; However, none of the database objects are visible in Explorer Server VS. For example, tables in Server Explorer folder was empty, as all the other files in the schema. Change display of object view to view schema did not make a difference.
  
  I tried the same connection using the Microsoft Oracle data provider and I have experienced the same problem. I could connect, but no data object was visible. When I checked the menu to change views, options were different. Instead of the object view and Schema view, I could choose my objects, all objects and user objects. My objects has been selected, then I changed it to all objects. After this change, I could see the data tables, stored procedures, and all other data objects that should be visible in the schema.

  You have all the objects (tables, views, etc.) in your schema to which you are connected as?

  In the view "All items", if you develop "Tables", you will see all the visible objects for the logged on user. (objects other patterns of user and the schema of the user connected).

  I have problems in Visual Studio 2010, using NOR-DAQmx, but ONLY in a unit test project. I have compiled a dll that uses a DigitalChangeDetection task handler. The dll work very well in a draft standard form, but does not work in a Test project.

  I used .NET Framework 4.0 with success. Tried to switch to .NET framework 3.5, but it is not possible for a test project in Visual Studio 2010.

  When I start my test, it works fine until the event is raised. Once he does, the test will stop without exception or detail except the following result:

  I understand that Visual Studio 2010 is not yet officially supported so here's my 2 questions:

  -I'm the only one experiencing this problem? (Easily duplicated by taking the sample project: DotNET3.5\Digital\Read Values\ReadDigChan_ChangeDetection_Events and extract the relevent part of to put in a separate dll so that you can try to UnitTest in a project UnitTest.)

  -Update on what NOR-DAQmx will rely on VS2010? (I read here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Measurement-Studio-for-NET/Support-for-Visual-Basic-2010-NET-4-Framework/m-p... this is supposed to be before the end of the year, but no updates would be great because I could not find any information on it)

  Addendum: can I scan with the HP printer help.  I open the HP printer assistant, he "gets" the printer information, then I select "scan a document or photo" and the printer answers.   I have no problem with the sweep.

  It has been awhile, but I played on something you wrote.  "There could be a software conflict with the HP software" everything worked very well... impression was shifted at best; just didn't know if it would work.  So I would eliminate a program, reboot clean, try to print, and then reinstall the software.  I finally found the culprit.  I had a program running in the background, occasionally.  When it ran, HP does not print.  Stop the program and I was able to print... Do not have a problem since I found it... I do not say that it was a software to share files... so I replaced since this program with something else that doesn't cause problems...  It took a long time and I couldn't work the question every day.... but I can say that I have problems printing for the past 5 days!  I can print with confidence.

  I created a quiz using the latest version of Captivate 7.0.  I want my users to resume play until they pass.  The Retake Quiz button appears when I test the quiz on my desktop but does not appear when I test it on my iPad.  I have the following settings:

  Success/completion criteria - Slide views and/or quiz - Quiz is spent

  Data report - data interaction

  Under Quiz, parameters:

  See the note at the end of the quiz - verified

  Allow the user to review quiz - unchecked (they must pass the test; therefore, they are not allowed to look at)

  Under Quiz, success or failure:

  Infinite attempts - verified

  Display the retake button - verified

  When I publish and test the quiz on my desktop, it works because I intend: If the user switches, only the continue button is displayed; If the user fails, the Retake Quiz is displayed.  HOWEVER, when I test this on the iPad, the Quiz resume is not displayed when the user fails, but a review Quiz button (even though I unchecked "allow the user to review quizzes).  Revision Quiz does not appear when I test this on my desk.

  Why this work on my desktop but not the iPad, which is what my users will use to take the quiz?  When I publish, I check the SWF and HTML5 and force check "republish all slides" since I tried this so many times.

• LabelField is not displayed when, to the right of an EditField or ButtonField

  When I add a LabelField to the right of an EditField in a HorizontalFieldManager, it does not appear.  What follows is a subset of my program.  LabelField lblTdbUnits does not at all appear, when, after an EditField.  Y at - it a setting that I have to give the EditField to prevent it from hogging all the spaces in the line?  I tried to set the maximum size, but it does not help.

  But when the test runner runs tests, it was classified as empty tests and shows white for the expected and actual values. While I've clearly stepped '5' for both. The tests complete successfully however.

  Could you please developed what are the empty tests and how to pass the expected value / actual value of data that will be displayed in the UI tester.

  It is for the most part UI confusion right now. We use FlexUnit1 during the alpha and beta tester and that you not him have not yet customized it fine for our needs.

  FlexUnit1 made the claim of count, which means that he knew how many times did you affirmations in each method. This time FlexUnit 4 does not, then he believes that this test is empty because he does not know that you have made an assertion.

  If you change your test to say that 5 is equal to 6 (and everything works fine) I'm guessing you'll see a failure, it's just a way to prove that everything works well.
