  Resolve open Regedit and search on the first GUID after components.  The full registry path you are looking for is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-1-5-18\Components\.

  Don't find the GUID "00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC" as there are hundreds of entries and you will be forever.

  For example, in find point 5 '6F949E36CB3004C50AF18C3B9B1A1EE8' you will see that the key has void key and one of these sub keys will be '00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC '.  When you select '00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC' you will see you get "access denied".

  First STEP: right-click on the "00002119E20000000000000000F01FEC" subkey and select "permissions".  Windows will tell you that you can view this subkey.  Click on the "Advanced" button and click the group to select the 'administrators' tab 'Property' under ' to a change in ownership: "& check the 'Replace owner of subcontainers and objects' option click on 'APPLY '.  If you click on 'OK', you will get access denied.

  STEP 2: select the "permissions" tab and make sure that both the "Include permissions can be inherited from parents of the object" & "Replace all permissions of child object with permissions inheritable from this object" options are checked.  Click 'APPLY '.  Do not click on 'OK' you will get "Access denied" yet

  Repeat the steps for each GUID registry and then try and install the update via Windows Update.

  Whenever you see an error in the update Windowsw it generates an error log and stores it in the Temp of Windows folder, normally located in C:\Windows\Temp.  Sort by date to get the last newspaper at the top.

  The error logs are normally preceded by MSI in the form MSIxxxxx.LOG.

  I hope this works if you can not get rid of this error, but I would have preferred that ms fixed properly!

• Outlook 2007 very slow after the last updated 15/12/2010 fo Windows 7 Pro

  I downloaded the 14 updates (15/12/2011) and 2 were for Outlook and 2 for Microsoft Office. When I try and load a MS Office 2007 program, it takes about 10 to 15 seconds. When I try and load MS Outlook it takes about 10-15 seconds, but when I try to go to Inbox to a different folder or calendar or Contacts it takes 20 to 25 seconds before anything appears. This happens just after I downloaded the latest updates. It was beautiful before.

  It worked after I deleted the update you mentioned above:

  My OS is Windows 7 Pro

  Anti Virus is AVG 2011 - and Outlook works perfectly with it before the update

  I have 3 email accounts and all are POP 3.  Both sbcglobal.net and Go Daddy 1

  The add-in mentioned by you ' COM Addin for Microsoft Office Outlook (mine shows that hotmail) Connector ' is always in the center of the confidentiality and Outlook works

  It is not all the time, but when it gets into fashion, sometimes you can close the application yet.  The only thing we can do is to shut down the pc.  The task Mgr will not stop it.

  I can't identify exactly what initiates it.  But usually, I have other applications open (Word or Excel) MS & Firefox, maybe.

  It is an example, when you explore Contacts and open a contact window to edit or review.  You leave Outlook to go to the other application and then you see the fast flicker goes into the taskbar.

  Another example similar to the above, this is when you change a contact window.  Right-click to change something, then display studders and falls in flashing mode.

  Intuitively, I think it has something to do with the display or the video card.  I've done R & are the driver for the card.  The only reason why I think it is that the problem decreases in frequency of appearance, apparently with the largest size of display text.  In addition, I don't think that this has happened after the update of the graphics card (see below)

  Is your waiting time in fact 0 milliseconds?  It is not very long wait for a message to come.

  Each message ends with a line as a termination character newline character?  You have the default stop character.  If Yes, then you're better to read a large number of bytes and let the end of termination character read, rather than using "bytes to the Port.  So now that you read, not all bytes have arrived yet, then you're bytes to the port will be less that you really want and you'll have the wind reading an incomplete message.

  We did a migration forms 6i form form 10g. We have problems when navigation between points.
  
  We have a form with 5 tabs. In one of the tabs, we have a Web of pile. When I press a button, it fills some of the elements of the 3 different blocks that are in the tab.
  One of them is based on a table, and others are not. The problem I have is that later, I go to other tab where I have a multirecord in the multirecord, I have a piece of text with the trigger WHEN the CLICK of MOUSE. The main problem is the development of the cursor stay in the first record, even thought I have with the mouse to go to any other folder. For example the 3º an and the code that is executed is associated with the id of 1st registration not with the id of the 3rd.

  I try the same code in my computer (windows xp) with oc4j and a solaris server, and the same thing happens. So isn't a problem for the environment where the application runs.

  Actually no, I faced this problem the first time I used Sun JRE (it was 1.4.idontnkow I think), and built of workaround.

  After completing this work I spend more time on this ;-). Maybe it has resolved to 10.1.2.3, but so the solution is applied to all of our forms, that I can't say...
