updated HP device manager 4.5 attempted to sp4

Hello

I tried to upgrade 4.5 hp Device Manager to sp4.  The installation seems to complete ok, but then an error appeared at the end of installation the indicating that the installation has not completed correctly and to check the logs.

Now, I try to launch the application, and the application does not load.  Where are the logs of installation? and if anyone has encountered this error in the past.  Anyone know how to solve this problem and get the product once more work?

I tried to restart the services, does not.

Thanks in advance

  • Device Manager have to finish installing updated driver (recommended)

I get this message every time I boot my laptop. I took the ask me later option and checked to see if I have the latest update of driver (NVIDIA GeForce 8200 m) and Device Manager indicates that I do. I check with NVIDIA and they want delete me the two files that I can't find in the registry (ISUSPM startup) and ISUSScheduler. Another site says remove the driver and install it manually. NVIDIA recommends the use of my computer is built to do the installation. What should I do?

I tried the solution of joel S but it did not work. I still got the message "finish the installation of the driver." I did a search online and stumbled on what seems to have solved the problem. Some people think UAC is the problem and suggested to disable. Then I turned off the User Account Control feature and rebooted my computer. The message went away after I restarted my computer. I have re-enabled the UAC feature and the problem did not return. I don't update my NVIDIA driver anytime soon. From what I found on the net, NVIDIA has had this problem with their drivers for a couple of years.

  • CD drive does not read discs, can not update "multimedia controller" in Device Manager

Hello, I tried to get my CD drive to read CDs and DVDs and we tried the update driver software.

It says my driver "matshita dvd ram uj 850 s ATA device ' is up-to-date, but I see no specific driver CD, but no yellow exclamation point in" readers of CD-ROM/DVD-Rom ".

The only thing with a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager is in "other devices" and is called "multimedia controller".

When I try to update this device it says

"windows driver not found software for your device.

I tried to uninstall the driver and then restart, but he still has the exclamation yellow on restart.

I have a sony VAIO pcg8w1m with windows 7 ultimate.
Does anyone know which specific driver, I'm looking or if something can be a problem?
Someone at - it other ideas I could try? Thanks for reading this!

OK, for the problem with the CD of music sometimes having "exclusive mode" active "blocks" audio CD so try disabling the "exclusive mode":

Right click on the speaker icon in the Notification area of the taskbar > playback devices > then under "Playback" tab, click on "Speakers" (or the default unit) > properties > advanced > remove the check mark in front of "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" > OK

For the "unknown device" can you, in Device Manager, right click on the "unknown device" and "Uninstall" the device and restart the computer and let Windows redetect the device.

The device still presents itself as an "unknown device"?

  • Update blackBerry Smartphones / Device Manager issue

Hey guys, I have a problem.

I recently acquired a Blackberry 8330 and let me start by saying this: it's one of the best machines I've ever held. It is simply amazing.

I installed the Device Manager and have been using it without any problem. Then, I went and did an update wireless with my phone, the upgrade of the OS. Since I did this, however, the Manager has recently stopped recognizing my device - my computer recognizes him again, as he charges when it is plugged in and I can always access to the hard drive, but for some reason, I cannot use the Device Manager to do anything - down, States in the Device Manager there is no trendy Black Berry as shown by the 'None' exposed next to the Pin number.

What can I do? I really need to access blackberry via the Device Manager. Someone, please help > _

    Things I've tried:

-Restart the Blackberry (both by pressing the red button and pull the battery and re insert)

-Update the device to the more recent version Manager

-The latest version is uninstalled, then download and install the version provided with the blackberry (4.2)

I noticed that the CD that came with the device itself does not contain the most recent edition of the Device Manager, if that means anything. It's just weird that the Device Manager has stopped working after I upgraded. Currently, my OS is V4.5.0.175. I've recently updated both my 8310 Black Berry - same question parents. Before, I could access it via Device Manager. Now, I can't. Please help me!

    -Santos

In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

  • Update wireless card sees didn't not in Device Manager

    Quick preface...

Likely to create problems for me which are not necessary, but...

wanted to install a wireless card in my dv2415nr who had the band N.  Find p/n 436255-001 which is "compatible" with the cell phones of 2400 series?

He does not see in the Device Manager when I boot.  I have re-installed the abg wireless card came with the laptop.  It appears in Device Manager and works well.

Is it possible to get the laptop to recognize the new wireless card?

Here is a link to all revisions of the pilot.

Click on the blue link driver next to the date to install this version.

The most recent one listed may not install unless you do it manually.

In any case, one of the most recent from 2012 will work. I think I got the last being installed, but I did it manually.

  • Wmp54g driver installed, but not seen in the Device Manager

I'm fighting with reinstalling my drivers of network for more than three days already. (For the history, see http://en.community.dell.com/forums/p/19269864/19470244.aspx#19470244)

It seems that I finally got the drivers Intel work - however, the WMP54G I had installed before the (I hope) works now driver Intel is not listed in Device Manager. There is no icon in the taskbar wireless connections, either. Another attempt to reinstall the drivers, however, abandoned the process with the comment that drivers would be installed. So, I think the pilot is, but does not at all.

So, how can I get rid of this driver and try to reinstall another?

    My spec:

    Dell Dimension 9200

Windows Vista Ultimate x 64 (don't tell me there is no x 64 drivers, please!)

Seems OK, as I said it.

Really, it seems that standard LinkSys drivers on the download Web site support not at all x 64 systems. According to the readme files, the driver has not been updated since 2004! This is unacceptable, I think that - as a decent redirect in this forum does not work.

Anyway, even if some really nice junior contributor on the forums seem to have written some x 64 drivers - himself, I actually did not know how to install without an .exe file. : Pei

Instead, I did some more googling and learned that the WMP54G v4.1 and v4.0 chips were produced by RaLink and that these guys really provide decent drivers! It is at this point that I remembered my software "Unknown devices" mentioning RaLink, too, RT2500 for v4.0 and RT2561 to v4.1. And well, turns out I have a v4.1 and that their driver is working like a charm. They also provide WLAN monitoring software that allows some additional adjustments. My suggestion: Cisco should outsource their service driver development, too.

  • Is there anything I can change/device manager/cmd Vista for my job wireless in the slot 2 PCI?

    System:
    E Machine T5086
Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP2
    Intel Pentium 4 3 GHz
    2gigs RAM
    MOBO: 4006173RIntel (Coryville 2) 945G Motherboard
Wireless card: Hawking HWPG1 device name of PCI card wireless 802.11 g: Ralink RT61 Turbo Wireless LAN Card

    Background:
I recently installed a PCI-E ATI Radeon HD4650 gfx 1gig card. Unfortunately, with the fan attached, it's a bit too thick to sit safely far from my wireless card that is located in the upper part of the PCI slot. So, I took and it goes down a slot. (I have only 2 pci slots, a pci-e). The card is recognized, the drivers are installed, it is part of the work, there is no conflict, no exclamation, nothing in Device Manager. However, the internet does not work, and he recorded as "disconnected" or "disabled" in the network and sharing Center. So, when I look for to connect to networks, none never appear. I have other computers in the House. Wireless works fine on all others, showing our fine network. The card worked previously above the slot without any problems and always done if I put it back in there. -I don't understand the pci card is a little old, however, the way it has worked well in the first period, I don't want to buy a new wireless card, only to have it also not work in slot 2. It is very possible, there just a problem with this slot, not sure how determine that. Looking for a Windows hotfix.

Also: No. I am not return my gfx card for a 'thin' (which also means diminished gfx capabilities). : P if there is really no viable, I'll get a good wireless USB adapter, however if someone of you recommend.

    Troubleshooting based on other threads:
*. Tried to change all the settings in the pci bios. There is nothing to resolve. My particular bios does not have very many parameters to set except the activation or deactivation of devices General.

    1. I uninstalled the drivers and the software wireless is related (through the Uninstall/Change & Device Manager), then allowed the system to detect and ask to install it again in the same session. (I have a configuration saved in my folder for download from hawking.)

    2. uninstalled wireless again. Restarted. Reinstalled.

3 uninstalled. Stop. Out of the wireless card. Starting without a card. (idk why) Stop. Return the card. Started & reinstalled.

4 uninstalled. Starts in Mode safe. Reinstalled.

5 documented IRQ settings. IRQ 22 is used by my wireless card and the "High Definition Audio". So tried combinations of uninstalling/disabling audio through settings manager & bios of the device, uninstalled audio software and then installed the wireless card (Eitherway, both devices specify "no conflict" while two permits.)

    6. check my diary of events for apparently relevant errors. Don't know what than a bunch of other things from the East, but is "WARNING: autoconfiguration WLAN Service stopped successfully." So, who researched and tried a few corrections: cmd > netsh > wlan > set autoconfig enabled = yes interface = "wireless network adapter" I get "no such wireless device found." I also tried with "wireless network connection" that I got the same error.

    7. in respect of the above, I tried cmd in admin mode > sfc/scannow > came into services to start the wlan. But these instructions fail because it is already started / auto services.

    8. Finally uninstalled all my ATI software and released the gfx card. Also uninstalled the wireless. Restarted. Re-installed the wireless.

9 tested back in first Pci wireless. Works. Put back in place in the 2nd, does not work. Gfx card is always out ATM plugged into a cable LAN to have internet at the moment. I was surprised that winupdate found a update for my wireless card, but I have install the driver was the one I used when remembered first install the card waaay back when. Eitherway. Updated. It still does not.

    10. I tried through the Hawkings own connection utility: "Utility of zero Configuration." "passage" to zeroconfig fails or seems to do nothing. ZeroConfig also register my card wireless as "disconnected."

About to give up because I'm not sure what I can try. I read on attempt to failover to ACPI standard, but I don't have the windows cd. Other methods to do it without the CD and by Device Manager were futile because the options were there to do. The purpose of the level crossing was to attempt to circumvent the automatic IRQ assignment in case that is the question, I'm going to.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can give an idea. Clues or comments are appreciated just to help me to work along, even if we don't find the right solutions. There are quite a few others "hit my 2nd slot, no internet wireless ' sick out there. Hope that eventually you will help all out.

    Hello

It's probably the shared IRQ that creates it.

Get a wireless connection of USB you can connect with a USB extention cable and place it over the system and it should work.
