Outlook 2007 starts to open, then disappears. No error message. Says it's "data binding" on the lower left corner.

I recently did some 'clean up' things using Glary Utilities like registry cleaner, duplicate file, foam registry defragmentation, defragmentation of the C drive.

I have 4 entered into Outlook email addresses. 3 are POP, it's an Exchange.

My other Office programs work correctly.  It is strange that it is not an error message.  I did a Windows update and Office diagnostics.

    Hello

May I ask if clicking on the lower left corner always takes you back to the menu back? Or is that the disabled also?
You might want to try this:
    1. Press the Windows key, then type "cmd", right mouse click on command prompt, then click "Run as Administrator". If you are prompted by user account control, just accept.
    2. At the command prompt with admin, type privileges window ' sfc/scannow ' or ' sfc/scannow ' also works. And then press enter.
    3. Wait a few moments so he can analyze the system files, you may need to restart then.

Please let me know if it works. I hope this has helped.

    Folders.dbx is probably damaged.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    Note these possible side effects:

When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. Please understand that you will lose the mail directory structure, and message rules will probably have to be edited.

  • Error message saying that I don't have the required authorization every time that tries to open the application

I can't open any programs. All the icons are changed (it looks like the value by default when windows does not recognize the program). When I click on the program, it has an error saying that I can't have the proper authorization. Right click and selecting run to do the same thing. Everything seems to work in safe mode, but it won't let me run System Mechanic. I'm currently logged in safe mode. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi rob251,

Remember to make changes to the computer before that happened?

Step 1 : Click right on any program icon, click Properties, click the compatibility tab, check the box run this program as an administrator and try again to run the program.

    Check if this is useful

Given that the programs work very well as expected in safe mode, the issue could be software or related materials

Step 2: Put the computer to clean and test start

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.

If you started facing this problem lately, recent changes to the computer could cause this problem

Step 3: System Restore: System Restore to put the computer's system files to an earlier point in time.

Search the steps mentioned in the link below:

For some reason, I accidentally hit a button that my Start Microsoft button moved to the upper right of the screen. I'd rather start at the bottom left of the screen. Please notify.

    Thank you.

Sorry, this isn't a problem of Firefox support. The Start button is part of the Windows XP operating system.

  • When you use fireftp I use the FTP user name and password to connect, but then when I try to connect I get "password not shown" in the lower left corner. Why?

That's what shows the box below:

          PASS (password not shown)

Many terminal-style applications remove the password from appearing in the journal of communication, to protect any person who could later read the newspaper. I think that FireFTP that emule. It is important to be able to view the password?

    Hello Margo15,

If you assembled your PC yourself, this may happen because of the bad connection in your hardware.

    You can consult:
1 make sure your CDROM /dvdrom is properly connected.
    2. the hard drive is properly connected, make sure that there is no loose connection.
    3. Insert the CD of Installation of XP and reboot the PC to check again.

Is the usable hard drive prior to this install attempts or you install a new copy of XP into a new PC?

    Waiting for your response.

    Thank you and best regards.
