  You mean Outlook, the standalone version and not the new iteration of Live (live.com) mail to Outlook.

  I think that the default is to open in a new tab in the last active window, but you can check it out here and replace the default value:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste link.o and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external and change it to 3 and OK change

  The options are:

  -1 = apply the setting in Options > general > tabs of external links (default)
  3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window
  2 = open external links in a new window
  1 = open external links in the last active tab replaces the current page

  For the last 4 days my outlook MSN mail is not properly displayed, and I can't select any of my emails even though I can see them. There is also a view (it looks like a selection preference window) at the top that I've not seen before. My e-mail address appears fine on other computers.   You're not can connect through Microsoft to access their web mail services.

  But there's collateral damage.

  Bell removed the functionality of the Outlook (for iOS) software application.

  Can no longer access the @bell.net or sympatico.ca e-mail services - you cannot send or receive emails using Outlook on your iPhone / iPad.

  It is a step back as Outlook seems to be an email client far superior than the mail on iPhones and iPads.

  Suggestions as to how we, Canadians can influence Bell for restore Outlook e-mail services?

  If not, is there another alternative for Mail for iOS?

  I don't know how Bell could do that. They seem to use POP and IMAP standard, settings that can be used with any modern e-mail like Outlook application client.

  Yes im also having the same issue but it happened at about 23:30 email hotmail server seems to be down for me but I am on ios 7.1.1 if this isn't a thing of ios. Also tried it on another ipad, iphone and outlook using windows 8.1 so im 99.9 per cent a few hotmail servers are out of service

  I have problems attaching photos to Outlook e-mail messages. My previous PC used XP and it's simple, click on join in the Outlook e-mail message and choose a photo in my pictures from My Documents. (Otherwise I could right click on any photo and select attach to e-mail) Now my HP touchscreen using Vista and the pictures are stored in the Windows Photo Gallery, but seem not to be accessible through My Documents (the only way I found location and storage of photos is via the Windows icon that takes me to the photo gallery). I can't work on how to locate the photos to attach if I click on join in an Outlook e-mail message. I tried to go to Windows Photo Gallery, select the picture and then clicking on E-mail and then attach as suggested in Help and support, but even if screens seem nothing happens and no electronic message. I would really appreciate if anyone can help!

  I just bought two computers and a tech install Windows 7 instead of Windows 8, because I was told that I have more than enough bad Windows 7.
  In any case, I need to transfer my contacts list of e-mail from your old computer (Windows XP) to my new. I think I'm supposed to locate the *.pst files, which I did and they downloaded onto a flash drive. At this point, I read some internet explanation telling me to look for my user account folder where the folder My Documents OR click on %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the address bar. NONE OF THESE AREAS APPEAR FOR ME!
  I have Outlook Live Mail which I believe is 2013. I know that XP is long forgotten and I'm desperately hoping that someone will propose solutions to this.

  Even if you don't usually see a hidden file, it's one regular file in all other respects. You can choose whether a file is hidden or visible by changing its properties.

  To activate the App data folder that remains hidden, check the operations from the link mentioned below on how to display it.

  I've never used Snapfish, but I don't see where this has nothing to do with Outlook Express, an e-mail client. While glancing at their website, it seems that you download photos from your computer as you would to Photobucket or SkyDrive, you do not send by e-mail their. You should not need to use any e-mail program to achieve this.

  After setting the network card to make IE work, then check OE.  If the OE still has problems, check under Tools | Options | Connections and tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Connection to be sure, the settings are correct.  You may also need to remove your e-mail account, close OE and then add it back again.

  ·                                 My Outlook e-mail was working fine yesterday morning. When I returned after lunch to check it out, I couldn't. He ask server, user name & password each time but then does nothing. When I X out of the box, I get this:

  I tried everything I could find in my research for almost a whole day now, and it still doesn't work.

  What's funny (to me anyway) is that I can send a message with this account in the term.

  As you pay for your email service, your best bet is to call your service provider (AT & T) support and ask them to get away with you.  The error indicates clearly that you enter wrong credentials and if you believe that you are not, server administrators will have to straighten that out.   Try if it works. It does for most people, but one of the posters said recently he did not for him or her.
  Start button > run > type /resetnavpane outlook.exe in the box > OK

  Note (space) between exe and / '.

  If you do not have the option RUN, use the start search box instead.

  I use contacts outlook for years and have my address book everything about her.

  I recently started using outlook e-mail. I _-U-ME-D than when I clicked the radio button for "automatic name checking" that outlook would automatically look in the file "outlook contacts" for email.

  No luck. I can start the person's name and then click on the button "to...". ». This open it ' select names: contact "swamp, where I can do some very basic research and not particularly useful to find the person I want to dialogue.

  Once I found a contact using this message, outlook then auto find them when I start typing their name. YAY!

  However, I don't want to have to find each person individually, one at a time, I want my address book all integrable, while when I start typing a name, they are raised. I guess it is a simple function, but I don't know how to cela and cannot find instructions.

  Function by which an address is suggested when you start typing is as a result of the previously used name (AutoComplete), the address is extracted from another no user editable file, which is settled over time when you enter an e-mail address. The file is actually the .nk2 "User_Name".
