Outlook Express 550 5.0.0 error code.
Outlook Express, when I send the attachment voluminous few people I get the error code 550 5.0.0. Quota exceeded when writing, cannot create output only to a person, the rest of them get OK. What's this problem on my end, or on the other side?
Do you have any suggestions how to fix this would be appreciated!
George
If you get a message from the demon, then its likely to their end. You can do a CTRL-F3 on the message of demon and see if it contains more information in terms of what generated server. You can always try to split apart the message and see if she gets then.
see you soon,

Ok thank you. I received three messages from you, two of the demon and the other Hotmail.
Hotmail has helpfully includes the originating IP address, so I was able to check further. There is no WHOIS data for it (a bad sign to start), but it is not in the CBL. Read this page to see why it is listed and take the appropriate action. Once you are convinced that your computer - and another using the same network - are clean, you can use the link at the bottom of the CBL page to remove from the list the IP address.
I still don't know where FCMA comes into it, and diagnostic tests in the NDR is incorrect. It is not the content of the message that is at fault, but I suspect that the block list.
Good luck!

Failure of Outlook Express to download and email: error code0x800CCCOF
Here is the error message displayed when I try to use Outlook Express:
(I can, perversely, send messages in the normal way, but it won't download the multiplication of incoming messages).
"Your server has terminated suddenly the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. "Account: 'mail.btinternet.com', server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800CCC0F.
I checked all the settings and they seem to be set correctly, as suggested by my ISP. I also increased the length of the "Time out" maximum available, as suggested in a Microsoft article, nothing helps.
Can anyone suggest how to deal with this problem?
Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email
http://thundercloud.NET/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htmThe way most effective to do this is to completely remove the program anti-virus and then perform a custom installation. When the possibility of withdrawing the e-mail analysis arises, remove.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, after return. -
I read the post on the copy the messages from the Inbox to another folder. I tried, but get an error message. I decided that I would just delete all but the messages will not delete. I used the search function of windows to search for inbox.dbx, but he could not find the file. I have a large number of messages in my Inbox and its ok if I lose all. I get the error message when I start outlook express and download messages from my pop3 e-mail. It still downloads messages from one of my other emails which is also a pop3 server. I have windows xp pro and it is completely up to date. Thank you...
Hello craigalene,

Follow these steps:

b. Select the folder and select new.
c. give an appropriate name for the folder.

Outlook Express problem
The address to which Outlook Express shows when it is trying to connect to my ISP is misspelled (Comast rather than Comcast) for an error message shows everytime I try to use it. When I go to run and then Control Panel there is no icon for mail so I can't Mail configuration to try to fix the problem. What can I do?
In XP, Outlook Express, you need to go to Tools, accounts , and then double-click the e-mail account you want to change in the Internet accounts dialog box. This opens the Properties dialog box for this account. Looks like you need to make changes to incoming or outgoing mail tab servers servers.

original title: email problem
I have run outlook express 6 when I hit send and receive button told me how many emails I have to come then gives me an error message like this "an unknown error has occurred. "Account: 'pop3.tsn.cc', server: 'pop3.tsn.cc', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800C0133 ' I have a tsn e-mail account. can someone help me thanks
You may have a corrupt inbox. Move all messages from the Inbox to another folder if you can. Then move the inbox.dbx file in another directory in the message store directory (found via Tools |) Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Storage folder and files are hidden). OE will create a new one so that should solve the problem.
Alternatively, you can go to file | Identities and setup a new identity, which will give you a new message store) and then add your e-mail account. If it works fine, you can use the file | Import | Messages to get the messages from the old identity.
In the future see points 2 and 3 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2 and make sure that you back up your messages frequently, because cases often get corrupted.

MS Outlook 2003 filter junk e-mail - error Code 646
Windows Update keeps saying I have a critical update to install - KB977840 - MS Office Outlook 2003 Junk e-mail filter. However, whenever I try to download it and install it, I get error code (646).
