  First create a tag of character that has the value "BOLD" only, for example SHIFT + F8 in the Character Designer to AsIs, then select weight: "BOLD", enter a name for example myBold (or other semantics, which means that you want for this) to the character tag and click orders > new Format > shop in catalogue.

  When you create the paratag, do not set the Bold property in the paragraph properties of font designer. Instead, on the Numbering tab, enter "Note:" in the field and select the "myBold" in list of character tag format specified for this tab to AutoNumber. "."

  Did you install the 9.0.2 patch for FM9? It must be said FM9.0p237 under help > FrameMaker on... for the latest version if it is installed.

• Different help for different Web Site areas

  I am facing a big enough task to work. Here's the scenario: there is a web site (AKA the parent domain) parent who is using the Site. The web site parent has several subsites (subdomains). Each of those subsites need to have their own help, which may be different from using the Site displayed in the site parent, but still need to use the same source files and output. Creating different projects for each subdomain is not an acceptable option for several reasons. We must be able to 'turn on' and 'disable' visibility in selected pages and information on the selected pages.
  
  How can this be accomplished without generating (and the maintenance of separate projects) for each subdomain?
  
  Example usage: using the Site for the website parent has three help pages to create a survey - 1) seizure of analytical data, 2) download the survey and 3) edition of the survey. On the Edit poll page, there are 5 fields containing information that the user can change. Site Help for the subdomain of the web site parent may just have two of the help pages - enter summary information and edit (no download page of the survey) survey. Also, on the edit poll page, only 3 of the 5 fields can be changed - the other 2 fields must not be displayed using the Site for the subdomain.
  
  How can I use the same Site Help for the web site parent and the subdomain (i.e. use the same source files and output files), but hide the loading survey page and hide the 2 of the 5 fields on the edit poll page in aid of the Site for only the subdomain? I already thought about the use of conditional compilation tags, but it seems to me that this would require generating different projects (for example, different output files) and I doubt that it will be an acceptable solution for our needs.

  Your product "structure" reminds me of product from my client. Four years ago, it was similar to your description. Today, it has evolved and applications 'tailor-made' are based on a basic application, but EVERYTHING is kept separate until subdirectories for each topic within the app. Even my help reflects this subdirectory of application and the file naming convention. This makes it much easier to keep track of all of the project for a client gave (the 18 500 files for my client).

  If possible, to manage the aid project in pieces. Due to the structure of the domain (subdirectory) void help right from the start. The only place where it gets referenced is in the Site Help links and this is better managed as projects merged, as suggested by Peter Grainge.

  The 'core' Help is that you create and provide to the developers of project. Don't forget to provide a detailed list of the names, titles, functions, etc., and instructions on how to import basic assistance in a new project to help customize for customer. With this approach, you need separate directories of project on your servers as each project custom generated help will have common file names but different content. The positive side to this is easy using the Site maintenance when a subproject of field is updated.

  So how is your architect approaching the application? Do you use a container (common) window with other frames, fields, or combination of the two, which are populated based on a previous selection? Or y at - it a unique window based on a previous selection? How aid is requested in GUI - a help button / icon, hotkey - the call triggers a JavaScript written to your application toolbar? You use the simple call to RoboHelp style or is it suitable for reading the file name of the displayed content window? Could use a lot more information to help set up an approach.

  I think you have a lot to plan in advance and more than one session of stop in the head with the developers. Good luck!

  The slideshow widget is specialized to create slideshows of the image. The widget of composition is a much more flexible widget which allows any combination of images and text in the trigger containers or containers of target of the widget. A widget of composition could be used to create a slide show with several legends by image and/or legends of different places for each image. The disadvantage of the widget of composition is that, due to the nature flexible widget, very little is automated for you and so it is much more intensive work to create a slideshow of images using the widget of composition.

• The key traits appear as different characters in FireFox.

  Before a letter, the number or letter shows a different symbol in Firefox in the address field or field of research. I DataMask by AOL which shows the different characters in his field, but the correct information seems to display in Internet Explorer, for example. I disabled DataMask, but this has not changed the problem with Firefox. I uninstalled Firefox and then downloaded again from your web site, but the problem persists. The only other thing I installed recently is a program called Trusteer Endpoint Protection that has been suggested by and downloaded from my Bank as something to protect my security. As you can see, this message appear correctly while DataMask is showing different letters that I type in Internet Explorer. I couldn't do it in Firefox.

  I don't have Google Chrome or Zone Alarm Spy Blocker Tool bar or toolbar Ask.com installed on Firefox. I just uninstall Trusteer Endpoint Protection and this has solved the problem when I restarted Firefox.

  I have an Asus laptop K50IJ with Win7 Home Premium SP1 as (bought new in December 2009, from a reputable retailer) and about 5 years later, began to "this computer is not running genuine Windows" for some time in the middle to late February 2015, 0x8004fe21 appears on pop up message. I continued to by clicking on the red x to close the window because I have not had time to try to solve the problem. I was afraid to click on the link "Pay online now" in the pop up because I wasn't sure if it was a legitimate link or not. Last week, I started the research question, but I still don't know what to do. Control system info panel says that Windows is activated. I ran MGA diagnostic tool and noticed that the last 15 characters of the product key in the report are different from the sticker on the bottom of my computer. I found a lot of posts with corrections to this type of problem, but none of them are exactly my situation. We were on Windows update KB3004394 but that is not installed on my computer. Many precautions are noted so I hesitate to try something that changes the register or license key and product (e.g. slmgr /ilc or IPK) because I know not if the product key on the sticker will be valid. According to the report, "remaining Windows rearm count: 3 ' and a message says that the screen will become black permanently after a month, so last week I changed the system date of the month return to February (so today is 01/03/15) just in case where I can't solve this problem in time. I don't know if change the date system will be actually buy me more time, but the more I read about this type of problem, plus I'm not sure what to do. I'd like suggestions on how I could fix it if I should place a phone call to resolve. Thank you!

  I got a bug report that a device on English (UK) has a problem where the time turns off the screen, and I was able to reproduce this on device and Simulator.

• Look at a PDF output reports a wrong format

  Background:

  level migration from solaris to linux apps - requires new tech battery installation.

  Problem:

  PDF reports generated from a competing application do not have the correct format.  That is to say the newspaper is missing, boxes/column outlines are not print - only generic text output

  The selection of the printer is noprint

  On the solaris system source uses the noprint printer driver of hpl with arguments acroprint, which in turn call acroread - I think it's a method they use to convert pdf to postscript-oriented (I'm new to this system have therefore no history with her)

  I'm not sure what to do to get the correct visualization for PDF files with the new linux installation.   I tried different drivers for noprint, nothing has no effect.  I tried to reproduce the acroprint set-up... same result.  No matter what I change behind the scenes, the report view is exactly the same.  All the text and all the missing formatting.

  The report itself is configured to use the PDF_PORTRAIT style.  I had to create this style in the new system, it's apparently a style custom - it is the only component scripts acroprint/acroread.  I tried to imitate the configuration on Linux, but the old man has Acrobat 5.  Acrobat is currently not acorprint script - it was can be personalized? Not sure again.

  Bottom line, how can I get PDF to display as properly formatted?  I'm not printing, only look at one... so do not know if I need to set up printing from blocks just to see?

  The problem has been resolved by a copy of the report of the source - this resolved that the rep-1800 and formatting has been corrected.  Something must have happened to the file when the archive original was created to move the system.  Thanks for all your help!

  (a) reports different levels of 2 hierarchies is not supported. As explained below, you cannot use OLAP to get the values of aggregation across levels of hierarchies: H1 and H2.

  However, if you wish, you can report it to the lowest level, Patient, common to these two hierarchies and show the age group as well as the attributes of sex corresponding to each patient. This becomes reports Patient / the lowest level. You can of course use the features of the reporting as obiee tool to use a Pivot object (for example) and exclude the Patient as Id columns, name, etc. and get obiee to perform syntheses located in the reporting layer and get recaps of interests. OBIEE Pivot measures allowing aggregation using the Min, Max, Sum, Count, etc running sum. OLAP facilitates this solution, but does not particularly help in aggregation (given that the aggregation is now made in obiee and not according to the rules of definition of aw olap cube). It acts as a source of information at the lowest level stored in the cube. Would result in a degradation of performance, but it can be acceptable/managed according to volumes/data report.

  NOTE: For/Pour / solution solution workaround, use the common areas, nonhierarchical columns, of the OBIEE presentation layer.

  (b) not supported: OLAP Cubes contain summaries pre-calculees (or calculated dynamically) at different levels of each hierarchy. This contributes to faster performance reports. 2 hierarchies to the succession of defeats same time allowing objective feature. A cross-combination of levels across different hierarchies requires a dynamic recalculation of the detail records to get the right values for, say, age group: 30-39 and sex: male. Summaries of H1 at the level of the age for the age group: 30-39 cover all genres and can decompose in male/female w/o of recalculation. Similarly H2 summarized level sex sex: male covers all age groups. This fragmentation is not possible except through workaround / solution explained in (a).

• Content and tab Index showing the characters corrupt in Asian languages (RoboHelp 10)

  Japanese and Chinese files CHM I received from my Asian translator show correct characters in the Index table to the tabs. I need to make a change to the help, but when I open the project or compile it, words for these tabs show as corrupted characters. I have Japanese and simplified Chinese language packs installed and tried to move my PC language to these languages, but still get the corrupted characters.

  One thing I notice is that, in the! Language! files for all languages, there is a! Language!. FPJ file and a folder en_US with a file of en_US.fpj in it. The two .fpj files include the text "<?   Edit: Also, I changed the language in the settings dialog box of the project for the simplified Chinese while my PC language has been updated with the Chinese, but that has not changed anything.

  Here is the complete solution.

  Note: This is for the HTML Help files.

  On your PC:

  1. Make sure that the appropriate language pack is installed on your PC.
  2. Select Start > Control Panel > region and language.
  3. On the Format and the Administrative tabs, set the Format and the settings system locale the appropriate language/country.
  4. Restart the PC.

  Note: PC's display language doesn't have to be on the target language.

  In RoboHelp:

  1. Open the Asian aid project.
  2. Select file > project settings, and then select the appropriate language.
  3. Select file > generate > primary layout.
  4. In the HTML Help Options dialog box, select the appropriate language, and then click Save and generate.

• Accurate, the same site, exact same browser, site shows different different servers?

  I have a site on two different servers with two different addresses.  The same exact files, but it shows different even in the same browser.  Whats crazy is that he showed correctly on the first server (which is live since 7/2012) until I have it loaded on server 2 today and now, this one is not good.

  Server # 1 site is here: http://www.liquidatorwarehouse.com and it is supposed to have rounded on the container and the menu

  Server # 2 site is here: http://www.liquidatorswarehouse.net and it does not show the slides on the homepage as the other site does, but the css is displayed correctly.

  The only change I made to the file of all the homepage web counter.  I have not changed anything else.

  I second site just forwarded to the first, but the first is on an account shared i.p. for the redirector will not work.

  Help, please?

  And just to talk more about the damage you do.  There is no reference canonical or something to say to a search engine if a site is moving or if a domain must prevail.  So your site will eventually be reported as a site duplicate under different names and that might get you blacklisted from search engines.
