Output to the pixel ratio problem

A bit of a newbie here with a problem. I do in fact just an exercise in a book and I'm a little confused about something.

I have a composition that I put for NTSC D1. I imported images .swf created at 720 x 534, wider format final to take account of the stretch. Once inside the AE, I form the comp images. Now, the images in AE looks stretched. I understand however that when it is used in the video material that will look correct.

So, I made the composition in a .mov file. When I consult this file, the animation is is more tense. I expect this to always look stretched on my computer screen and that if this video was broadcast on a TV or other video would look right.


I don't understand why the .mov is not stretched more. Can anyone help?

It seems that it is just a Quicktime setting.  QuickTime is set the output that see you so that it doesn't look like stretched by default.

There is one "opening in line with:" option window > show movie properties.

    Try this:

    With the USB speaker connected, right click on the speaker icon on the tray (right), left click on 'sounds '. On the tab 'Read' the USB speaker should be listed, click to select it, and then click the button "set as default". Click the OK button to exit.

    Alternatively, you can go to control panel, Sound.

  • CS5 Pixel Aspect Ratio problems...

    Hi all

    I am working on porting over an importing existing Windows .mov file to Mac while also improving it to CS4 CS5 (and also riding in the creation of a library of files QuickTime 64 bit handwritten management to start, Ouch).

    In my test class, I have problems with some 1920 x 1080 .mov files. Some files of 1920 x 1080 I imported correctly, some of the files I imported with the wrong aspect ratio. I checked the two files should be displayed using square pixels and have checked also when the selector is sent which called (SDKGetInfo8) I'll put what follows for * all * the above test files:

    SDKFileInfo8-> vidInfo.pixelAspectNum = 1
    SDKFileInfo8-> vidInfo.pixelAspectDen = 1

    I bought it online using SDKGetInfo8 () and tense and no strained clips seem to give exact same traces through this function. However, files that are imported with the wrong aspect ratio, of course, listen to samples in a long format. Also, in the information of the location of the Source region, when the * extended * clips are selected is the information that is provided to these clips:

    NameOfTheStretchedClip.mov
    Video, 1920 x 1080 (1.7778)
    00:00:9:13, 23.976 fps
    etc...

    For clips that are not stretched, (1.7778) is (1.0). I'm not the greatest expert on the actual use of the first, so I can assume given the displayed values and the respective Visual result clips when you preview this value appears in the user interface is the format of the pixels and not the ratio of the image as the clip with (1.7778) is stretched and the clip (1.0) is not , but both are 1920 x 1080 videos. What I suspect is that 1920/1080.0 is 1.7778 and so somewhere for the clips that are stretching the pixelAspect ratio values seem to be derived using the dimensions in pixels and not the vidInfo.pixelAspectNum and vidInfo.pixelAspectDen values that are explicitly set to "1" as shown above.

    So my question is, apart from the SDKGetInfo8() layout the following values:
    SDKFileInfo8-> vidInfo.pixelAspectNum = 1
    SDKFileInfo8-> vidInfo.pixelAspectDen = 1
    Where can we pixelAspect values are supposed to prepare you?

    You can also:
    -In what other selector calls * CAN * pixel aspect ratio get ready? As I said, I'm porting of existing code, so maybe that these values are preparing elsewhere that I am currently unable to find.
    -Are there any setting that could get attached to the import of a file that said to derive the format of pixels the pixel dimensions that might get triggered for the clips that are imported as lie?

    QuickTime is described in section 2.2.4.

    I guess that this file with the 1.78 BY adjustment to its XMP had been changed manually somewhere along the line in Premiere Pro or a bridge and is not really a valid test case.  I would like to know if you find a way to produce using a real workflow.

    The fact that the file with NOMINAL 1.78 is showing that 1.0 BY when the time base is 24000 / 1001 is technically incorrect.  Maybe our importer knows that there is no such thing (at least that I know) like a 1920 x 1080 with 1.78 NORMAL video, so it sets properly, while missing the 23976 / 1000 cases.  But it is technically incorrect because the IRON must be completely flexible for future formats.  Still, I would imagine it is really a problem, an end user will hit, is it?

    You must use Write-Host sparingly. instead of trying to Write-host using Write-Output. You can also build the string without Write-Host IE "User $($matches [1]) connected to: $($event.createdTime).

    Don't forget that write-host may not be redirected to a different output, just like the Format cmdlets.

    I'm trying to build a byte array and set it on a WritableImage using the PixelWriter setPixels method.

    If I use a RGB pixel format, it works. If I use a byte indexed pixel format, I get a NPE.
    Stride etc should be fine if I'm not mistaken.

    Byte indexed pixel formats seem like a feature never completely (or maybe even any) implemented for me.

    The PixelFormat type uses your unsuccessful case is (PixelFormat.Type.BYTE_INDEXED):

    As for a WritableImage native pixel format is not the same that you use the pixel format, the JavaFX platform needs to do a conversion while reading pixels in a format and write it in another format.     As you can see, the BYTE_INDEXED format is not supported, and null is returned instead... it is the source of your NullPointerException.

    Pixel as in "pixelated" problem low resolution?
    Or do you mean that the aspect ratio is incorrect?

    Try to convert the .mov file to .wmv format and
    see if there is an improvement. Some converters
    work better than others...

    FWIW... MOV is Apple's QuickTime format... and
    the commercial version of QuickTime Pro to convert
    . MOV files.

  • How do you find the pixel dimensions of a photo in Illustrator CC?

    We have recently improved our CC CS3 software. I can't determine the pixel dimensions of the picture I want to incorporate into Illustrator. In our old workflow, we have simply clicked on the object in Illustrator and then open a new document in Photoshop, and it would retain the dimensions to the size of our document in Illustrator. It is then a simple matter to paste the picture into the box, position and crop and save as a PSD file and then place in Illustrator. It does not more creative cloud. The object shrinks to 72 DPI, while keeping the resolution setting. We must keep our Illustrator files at least, so more files needed the incorporation is not possible.

    I studied a bit and I see other people having similar problems, but I didn't know a workaround or a way to determine the size in pixels. Info by the document Illustrator gives the 72 dpi pixel settings, even if the document is configured to replicate at 200 dpi.

    It's something that used to be so simple, I don't think a lot of upgrade. Now my workflow is horribly long. I have to rasterize all of the graph and then crop that is the inset photo. If there is an easier way, please tell me. All the literature is back, on the placement of an image already size of PS in Illustrator. I need the other side "round.

    I think I have a solution: make sure Clipboard settings are on 72 cut and paste a 72 dpi in PS file, because it seems that Illustrator images are seen in this way, regardless of the output resolution. Click on Photoshop and start a new document. It retains the proportions of the Illustrator image in 72 dpi. Open the size of the image, and then make sure that resample is checked. Change the resolution to the desired, in my case 200... Then place and crop your photo and save the PSD file. Open Illustrator and place the PSD file. It works for me.

    I'm new to Photoshop. I have been struggeling for a few days with this problem...

    1. I have 100 Images with different ration.
    2. I would like to define a custom target ratio.
    3. Then, I want to crop the images, which do not have the target ratio.
    4. These Images must be croped aligned in the center of the image (if the height is too large, the upper part and the lower part of the image would lose the same amount of pixels)
    5. I can interpolate the resolution during this operation to a standard custom resolution if it is different?
    6. Finally I would like to create an action/batch of steps 1 to 5, so that all images are processed automatically.

    I would apriciate all sorts of help a lot!

    Save a preset size for truncation tool, then call him upwards in action. Add layers of resizing based on the percentage, when necessary.   • How to change the audio output for the metronome

    I would like to send the metronome (and speech signals) for monitors to the scene in the ear.

    I understand that I can do this in MainStage using different output for the above titles vs. the rest of the 'Concert '.

    I tried to follow the instructions of the Manual:

    2. In the section of metronome on the general tab, choose another audio output on the shortcut menu to exit.

    PROBLEM

    1. on the general tab, only the outputs 1-2 are available/selectable (likely, these are also by default for all "Concert")

    2. Why is this process in the manual if it is not executable (without doing something to another additional Set up)?

    3. it's probably among the requirements of setting up more critical even easier for using MainStage with a live band, so why am I having to ask for help at all!

    I had a Pavilion m9300t for over 3 years and I have always used a set of two simple speakers, attached to the headphone output on the front panels until recently when it is installed a system of 5.1 rear speakers using 3 ports on the Panel to find that the release of the "out front" seems to be the reason for all my troubles. I tried to go around the speakers and even checked the speakers on a machine and all seems to work well. "So I thought that all output ports provide stereo output, except the lime' out front speaker" on the rear panel. I have checked the drivers and all settings in Realtek HD Audio Manager and ran the tests of speaker and even used disseminators of media, but the front speaker will provide only a weak sound.     Hi Modi,

    Is the speaker that branch to the green port 'active '? I mean,'s done it this speaker has its own power supply plug or is connected to other stakeholders who have their own energy source? The green port on the PC is not "powered" so it only will provide a weak signal and expect the speakers to control the overall volume.

    Something else to try, if you unplug all the other actors and simply plug the speakers into the green port, is the change in sound level? Alternatively, if you connect the headphones to the green port, you get audio normal?

    This will help you determine whether or not the hardware works.

    Another thing to try if you don't have it already: when you updated the audio driver, do you have the driver directly from Realtek, or did you use the HP driver?     Just select "High Definition Audio Codecs", accept the agreement and then download and install the driver for your operating system.

  • Synchronization of analog and digital output with the external sample clock

    First of all sorry for my English, I will try to explain what I want to do.

    I want my PCIe-6321 to send two custom signals (modification sawtooths) on a mirror controller. I would also like to generate output with my card at the beginning of each tooth of saw. Everything must be synchronized with an external k-clock signal of 100 kHz. The idea is that whenever the PCI receives a trigger to external clock, it sends two analog output voltages and when he received 1024 clock ticks it will also send a pic of triggering TTL. What I do is first prepare the map and after that in a loop sending and modifing the output values of the two signals and at the same time send a digital signal Boolean in each arch, so when's done it 1024 iterations of the loop I send an event to the digital port.     I don't know how but I find the solution. I'm generating more than a positive value (as I was triggered maybe very fast the oscilloscope has been absent there). If I put the sample clock of digital output to use the sampling/ao/Dev1 clock that it doesn't, but if I put to use the same source as the OD (terminal where my external clock is connected), but the trigger to start the DO to be Dev1/ao/StartTrigger this works. I don't really know why, but it does.

  • I use a simple low-pass, but the output of the filter outputs at a different frequency, even if the input frequency is the bandwidth

    I'm simulating a sine wave at approximately 1000 Hz (I'm variable according to the frequency with a slider), I would like to pass this signal by a lowpass filter (butterworth) with a high frequency of 2200 Hz cuttoff and a low pass to 2900 Hz frequency. However, the output after the filter frequency seems to be lower in the order of a thousand. the output frequency is about 0.1 Hz.

    Apparently, after running the tests on my computer the conclusion strongly implies a failed motherboard.  Attempts to locate a source of reference 793272-601 (preferred) or part number 793272-501 failed.  Therefore, it seems that I'll be compeled to use the service of repair of HP at a high cost.  The good is that it will be a 'huge' 90 day warranty.
