• Recoverable ability in oversized VM report

  I have a question how the total recoverable CPU is calculated in the oversized VM report.  For example, I have a cluster with 1414 hearts put into service.  Recommendation of the CPU is 1084 and recoverable CPU is 610.  I expect this total out equal (provisioned = recommendation + recoverable) but not nearby.   I see I have some VM with 1 core, recommendation will be 1.  I think that the recovery would be 0, but many cases, it is also 1 Although nothing could be claimed.  Anyone know why this is?  I want to get an idea of why this seems inaccurate.

  What is the powerstate of these virtual machines where the vCPU allocated 1 vCPU and recovery is 1 vCPU? It might suggest a VM decomm. vROPs will make this suggestion for PoweredOff and Idle VMs.

  I don't get too stock recoverable ability in vROPs. I really like the suggestions, but such people are rarely comfortable with resizing of a virtual machine to 8 vCPU until 1 vCPU. Then I usually start to reduce by half the specs and see how it works with half of resources once. If after the downsizing of a virtual machine at half the size, you feel comfortable cutting it in half again, go there.  This is my approach at least

• iPhone app Messages incorrectly reports that the messages are not delivered

  I send text messages with the Messages app on my iPhone.  I've never had a problem until recently.

  Recently, all of my text messages are marked by a red error message "not delivered".  But the beneficiary is in fact receive these messages.

  I want a solution to this problem (if you have one).

  Looks like you are having some incorrect Messages notifications appear on your sent messages. Not too sure if recent changes have something to do with it, but I would check your message settings to check everything is in order, it. You can also take a look at the link below. Even if your messages are sent, you can always follow the steps then the message "not delivered" can be resolved. You can also try a simple reboot of your device.

• Captivate 5.5 incorrectly reported in SumTotal LMS review results

  If the user marks a zero (0) in the review of Captivate 5.5 results in the LMS SumTotal is reported as being incomplete, with a score of---(tableau de bord, tableau de bord, tableau de bord).

  I agree that the liklihood of failure in the test with a zero is highly unlikely, but our QA group rejects the course because of this.

  Test the same course in SCORM Cloud to see if it will show the score as a zero.

  I think that this problem may be due to the way that sum Total poster this score and not the way Captivate is present.

• plugin check incorrectly reporting plugin vulnerable

• Siri anniversary incorrect reports

  I encounter this problem with Siri on my birthday.  I do not want to see my real birthday in this topic of discussion, so I'll just give a date for example.  When I ask her "what is my birthday," she said "August 20".  However, my actual birthday is August 17.  I did some research and it says I have to go into the settings of my Apple ID and change my birthday on a specific date.  When I'm there, however, he reads my birthday August 17.  What is everything?  So I try to change it anyway as a measure to try to see if she straightens things.  I ask Siri again "when it's my birthday" and Siri signals always on 20 August.  Can someone, please?

  Most of that in respect of the 'your' Siri information is local to the device, to your Contact. If I ask Siri, "What is my birthday" Siri brings up my contact.

  I could check here and see if my birthday is correct.

• Chrome browsers windows incorrectly reported to be opened

  When I try to uninstall a program, it starts but the finishes due the following message "all browsers Chrome should be closed in order to complete the uninstalltion. Please close all windows of the Chrome browser. But no aoe open. ???

  Checked in Task Manager (right click on the taskbar, select "Start Task Manager") that chrome.exe does not appear as a process still open?

• Muse incorrectly reports that my photoshop file was saved without compatibility turned on.  Muse do not place the file.

  In the photoshop preferences, I have defined maximum compatibility "always."  Muse won't matter, "place" my folder.  I changed my preferences to "ask" re "saving as" with max compatibility so that I could always check the max compatibility has been verified during registration.  Muse will not import the photoshop file.  Is this a bug?  Is there a solution?

  Switch to the view of the oversized VM (content---> views) report

  The view that creates the oversized VM report is called "Machine virtual Rightsizing CPU, memory and disk.

  Change that view and go to 'Time settings', you will see that it is probably set to 1 minute. Change to the length you want for your report. In my environment, I use "45 days" as an example. After registration, rerun the report, and you should be good.

  The cluster, that I'm looking has 3 hosts ESX 3.01 in it. VC is version 2.0.

  Please see the disparity between VC and ESX hosts when I connect to them and check customer data using VI3 store sizes:

  If Virtual Center and ESX Host2 show the same info but Host1 and Host3 have different values.

  I noticed when I tried cold migrate a virtual machine off the coast of Datastore3 to Datastore1, and the operation failed. As VC and Host1 and Host2 show 62,38 GB free I am inclined to believe that Host3 incorrectly reports. This does not explain why the migration failed.

  When you look at the storage configuration, all targets SCSI and LUN ID are identical for all hosts in addition to Host3 which is different. I asked the storage team to correct this. I don't want to put off more to the case where I muddy waters.

  Can someone tell me what they think can happen here?

  Do you know how Virtual Center decides which is the free space on the data store and how he questions the hosts? On average this out or what?

  If you are worried about anything, just vmotion the VMS ' soff to another host, leaving this host empty and then restart the agent of the VPA.

• Reports DXDiage.exe and WEI in a bad version of DirectX in DirectX 11 hardware test on Windows 7 computers.

  When I use the DXDiag.exe to check the DirectX version of my hardware version, the version reported is not correct. I then tried Windows Experience Index and it also reports the wrong version.  The hardware manufacturer said that the material is DirectX 11 but DXDiag.exe and WEI report DirectX 10.1. Is this a known issue? How can I fix it?

  Found the answer!

   

  When you run the diagnostic DirectX (Dxdiag.exe) tool on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the diagnostic tool incorrectly reports a device DirectX 11 as a DirectX 10.1 device. This incorrect version information is displayed in the DDI field on the view tab. This problem is only a reporting error and this does not affect the functionality of hardware or software DirectX 11 graphics card.

  There is a fix for this problem, for more information about the hotfix, see the following article on the Microsoft web site:

  Windows experience index also has the same problem, and Microsoft is aware of this.
