  Hi Experts,

  I'm migrating OWB to ODI 12.1.2 Migration 11.2.0.3.

  Here are the measures applied for migration.

  (1) install ODI 12.1.2 and applied patches also available with configurations (17170540,17469061,16926420)

  (2) for the migration of OWB to ODI, applied the additional patch on the ODI (17053768)

  3) applied CP3 ( Patch 16568042) on OWB.

  (4) patch (17224695) applied to OWB.

  (5) because of the required changes in the migration.config file.

  (6) (and run queue (migration.bat) utility command line with passwords and the path of the migration.config file.)

  My problem is when I run the utility, it ends without error but when I check in ODI not of object was created.

  Note: the parameter defined in the file migration.config is MIGRATION_MODE = EXΘCUTER

  Please help me to solve this problem or guide me if something lacks my side.

  Try with this patch on ODI 17836908 and 18537222 OWB for migration to step 2 and 4 respectively mentioned above.

  I mean, was that you should not start their script. What is the proper sequence and how should I do this?

• Integrator ERP Hyperion 11.1.2.1 and ODI

  We have Setup EMP 11.1.2.1 on a distributed environment
  Machine A - components of the Web (Foundation, HFM, Reporting and analysis, FDQM) layer
  Machine B - Services (Foundation, HFM, Reporting and analysis, FDQM) layer components
  
  Now, I need to have the Integrator ERP talk with Peoplesoft and do it, I would need ODI. So when I try to install ODI 11.1.1.6 b, the weblogic (which is installed in the EMP 11.1.2.1) Machine in the machine B is 10.3.4 and is not compatible with 11.1.1.6(which ODI doit weblogic 10.3.5 ou plus).
  While I raised a SR for the same thing. If any of you have already experienced such a situation, please share your experience and suggestions.

  If you want to use J2EE agents or use the console ODI, then you would need weblogic.
  Just use ERPi and ODI so it is not essential, because you could use an autonomous agent.

  I saw WebLogic installed to separate places and they do not create any problem but I can not always guaranteed.

  I work with CalcMgrLineLauncher.cmd for the launch of business rules (created with the calculation Manager) to the command prompt.

  But my task is: launch of business with ODI rules.

  I have create procedure in ODI with command: cmd/d CalcMgrCmdLineLauncher.cmd - f: passwordFile /A:planapp U:admin /D:db R:Alloc.
  Then I run this procedure (the operator of ODI shows the smooth running of the procedure), but the rule does not work (not recalculate values).
  
  John and guru of other hyperion, do I have to change in the CalcMgrLineLauncher.cmd file to get my result?

  HI, I installed a 11.1.2.4 EPM system now I want to configure agent odi. In the previous version, I have to install odi and create agents but in this version, I've seen a preinstalled and precree ODI ODI agent. I have a few queries related to odi agents:

  1. If I want to use autonomous agent, I have to install another ODI and there I can created autonomous agent? fix?

  can 2 - I create autonomous odi agent in ODI already installed by FDMEE?

  3. when I start my EPM services, is my odi agent starts automatically or should I start odi agent manually?

  (1) Yes, if you want to the autonomous agent, you must install studio ODI in that you will get the option of autonomous agent.

  (2) Yes, you can create standalone agent in ODI already installed by FDMEE and FDMEE gave you the J2EE agent configuration here.

  (3) if the officer is J2EE, so he came by FDMEE so when starting the services of EPM for FDMEE agent also begins (depends how you said the properties of the services in the services.msc If it is automatically when starting to himself, it will start on the other must start it manually).

  I could see the excruciating pain, who know you. I will try to answer to the issue (among many others).

  1 ODI and FDQM, ODI can be assumed as a traditional ETL tool (infact it's ELT), while FDQM is not his sacred anymore to defend its financial data. For more information ODI, John blog is without a doubt the best resource.
  2. "all using FDQm", I would like to contact this way - there is a demand of HFM and data must be loaded from 3 different georgraphies of their respective (scales of audit) TB. These 3 different geographies have 3 different formats by the CT but nevertheless we must go in a single application of HFM. Then, you would use FDQM to load the data into the application of HFM. This also answers your question that, Yes, the flat files can be loaded. In our case, TB can be in flat files as well.

  3 adapters, if we intend to load data in applicatino of planning, we have separated adapters, if we intend to load in HFM, then we have HFM adapters available. You can find this information in the "readme" of FDM docs

  4. as said earlier, FDM is not an ETL, its responsibility is to verify the quality of financial data. Therefore, the name "data qualtiy management financial. Now, the classic scenario in many implementations is that data so loaded directly from Oracle Apps or EBS (in abbreviated ERP) in Hyperion applications. In this case, we use FDM with adapter called ERPi.

  Now, if a financial analyst looks at a number in one of the data forms HFM and realizes that it may not be true and questioned the quality of financial data. It can drill, return of the form of data in the source system EBS with the help of FDM. It is one of the major advantages.
