Own writer app deleted my file - can I retrieve it somehow?

Hello

I am a writer who uses the application own writer fairly religiously, but sometimes if I don't constantly save the app will crash and I will not lose what I have not yet registered.  Last night I had spared fairly regularly and was about to hit the Save button again when the screen froze.  The app crashed, I restarted, and... everything was gone.  It represents months of work and so to say that I'm upset is an understatement! Is it possible for me to get this, or I can just kiss it goodbye?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have been back up your iPad, you can recover some of them by restoring your iPad with your backup.

  • Integrated .swf files can be retrieved from a PDF file?

I have several .swf files that I use in a digital portfolio PDF I send to potential customers. The original .swf and .fla files have been lost. Is it possible to extract or retrieve a built-in .swf to a PDF file so I can use a decompiler to recreate the .fla? Thank you.

If you have placed the SWF files using the Annotations of Rich Media (content - multimedia - etc.) then you can ignore my notes on the portfolios and maps - refers to the system navigator in a Portfolio PDF. In your case, you will need to use one of the tools I've mentioned, or try to hand.

I don't know of a Mac equivalent to surgeon or Can Opener. With effort, you can do the same thing manually:

    • Create a blank PDF and copy - paste into your SWF file using the select an object in Acrobat, if you do nothing else in the file to worry.
    • Use the preflight in Acrobat Pro to remove the compression of document structure and register again.
    • Open the PDF file in a text editor such as Notepad ++ that can manipulate binary data and extract the flow of the object relative to the SWF file (look for the binary data segment starting with "SCF" and ending before the word 'endstream' - delete all the rest above and below these lines. Makes no changes to the binary data and do not leave blank lines above the "CFS" or below the last binary character.
    • Save the data to a new file, give it a. SWF extension and you're done.

If you know what has been downloaded, I would use EasyFind:

In addition, I would like to launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac:

These steps will not guarantee that all items have been reomoved.  This is possible only by backing up your data, erase the HARD drive and then reinstalling the OSX and your data.

  • How to delete the files from my HP ePrint app after download / print?

Can someone tell me how to delete the files from my HP ePrint app after that I downloaded and printed. Thank you

    jmsandkds,

I apologize for the confusion. Options you speak of "photos, web and file" are located on the phone somewhere, lets say you click files. When you click on files, it will search the phone for available files that are able to print the ePrint app. To the extent where they are on the phone, you will need to search for them via the search screen, connection to the computer, or some files are program specific and only available in this program to be read, edited, or deleted.

    I hope this helps.

  • If the temporary file can be deleted salely

the temporary files in the windows folder can be removed safely

Yes, they can and must be removed periodically.

The temp folder provides workspace for programs. Can create programs
temporary files there for their own temporary use. Each program should
delete all temporary files when it closes, but for various reasons
It is not always the case (for example, if the program crashes, it)
never gets to do). That is why it is a good idea to periodically
    clean up anything left there.

Also note that there are some program installations that work in two
steps. The first step concludes by writing temporary files and
reset. The second stage starts automatically after reboot and
needs to find those files here (and then removes them when there
    fact).

Other than to do it automatically on reboot (which would interfere
with facilities like the kind I described), it is always safe to
Delete the contents of the temp folder. Because it is safe to delete
all the temporary files that are not open and currently in use by an application, and
because Windows won't let you delete open files, it is safe to (try to)
remove them at any time. If one does not delete, because they are open.
they will be automatically deleted when the application using their
shut up, or you'll get them next time you manually remove.

Some people may suggest that you restart before deleting anything, but
It is not necessary, for the reason stated above (on the other
hand, it's not bad to do).

  • How can I delete all files stored on my computer quickly without dumping my base and paid for programs?

I recently inherited a laptop Acer TravelMate 4220 age of 5 year from my mother, who bought his boss. The problem is that the computer is slow. I mean slow. I suspect that there are 1 million files that need to go bye-bye, and shows that I lack or use. Now I'm not what you call a computer expert; actually, I'm far from it. I tried to delete I know to be sure to delete the files, but there are still one bunch of others that I'm afraid to touch. I suspect that either the disk is too full of *, or somehow a virus or two got (I have a Norton Safe Search program installed MOM). Is it possible to safely and quickly clear the files in the computer without sending the programs installed in purgatory? More impotantly, a dummy like me he can do without damage? I thank will accept any I can get help and thanks in advance...

The best thing for you to do is to completely reinstall Windows.  Really.

Acer Travelmate laptops came with a hidden partition which will restore the computer to its state of factory costs, including software applications that were shipped with the computer.

Because this computer was first held by the 'boss', however, it is possible that a COMPUTER service company everything on the hard drive replaced with a picture of the custom business that does not include the Acer erestore.  You'll just have to watch.  Also, of course, all applications that are added by the company will not be restored using the Acer application.

See the first two links on this page (unfortunately, Acer sells more CD with XP Recovery software)--> http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/369

Follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.
Method 1: Error Message When you try to delete a file in Windows: 'access denied '.

Method 2: If the method above is not enough, you can follow these steps mentioned below and check.
    a. click the 'Start' button and choose 'Search. ' Make sure that "all files and folders" is selected and type the name of the file that refuses to be deleted. Click on 'Search' and computer will find the file in question.
    b. right-click on the troublesome file where it is found and choose 'Properties'. Note the location of the file. It usually comes in "c:\windows\system32\undeleteablefilename.exe." Close the search window.
    c. click on the button "Start" once more. This time, choose "run". Type "CMD" and press "Enter" to open a command prompt window. Close all other programs but who are running, leave the command prompt window open.

    e. return the command prompt window and navigate to the current directory where the file not draggable. Use the command "CD". By example, if the directory "System32" type "cd\windows\system32" in the command prompt window. Press "enter".
    f. type the non movable file in the file name window command prompt using the command "DEL" in front of it. For example "del undeletable.exe". Press 'Enter' and the file will be deleted. Because you closed the majority of processes running in Windows, press the "control" "Alt" and "delete" buttons to open the "Task Manager". Choose "Shut Down" followed by "restart" and your computer will be operational once more.

  • Deleted a file and now I can't see my documents

I have a laptop with two hard drives: my C drive is running windows and my E drive has all my applications and documents. Somehow, I deleted a file on my E drive. When I click the documents folder I get an error that says E:\ My Documents refers to a location that is unavailable.

I don't think I deleted all my documents but a single file that gives me access to all my documents. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the file I deleted and I emptied my trash.
Could someone help me find a way to get this file system back?

    Hi JP Connors.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forum.

Based on the information, you have put all the documents and applications in E drive and deleted an important file.

It seems to be not not possible to recover a file if the Recycle Bin is empty too.

You can use your favorite recovery tool search for third-party search engine check the same.

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    Hope that information helps
