  I am running Windows 7 on my computer, on which I am the only user.  When I create a directory or a file, or change a file, the owner is "Administrators" and the domain "BUILTIN" instead of my name of owner and the domain.  I wrote a program to change the owner and the domain (which does), but if I change a file, the resulting file has incorrect owner and the domain.  I have two questions: 1) why this is happening and 2) how can I fix this?  Thank you.

  When I create a directory or a file, the owner is set to anyone who is owner of the parent inherited from the location you save to.  Then go to a higher level before take you over (for example, the C:\Users\ken folder) and then apply to all children.

  Note: do not do this on your entire disk. If you change a system folder or the files used to update owner, any compromised site you visit can exploit your privileges and, since a change of ownership is no longer necessary, can change the files system without your knowledge.  Boom, instant compromise and infection, no action required.

  I am aware that v$ session contains these last sql_id/hash_value, distinguished by a sql statement that is executed and we can get the plan_hash_value from v$ sql using the following query.

  Select sql_id, hash_value, plan_hash_value from v$ sql where sql_id = & sql_id;

  Once you leave this session, session $ v clears the session information, subsequently sql_id will be also deleted.

  Yes, the AWR repository is accessible by SQL queries on the DBA_HIST views.  (these are the same!)

  Thus, the AWR retention period applies to data in views DBA_HIST.

  A SQL query that is not reported by a snapshot of the CWA would not be in the views DBA_HIST.

  I create some custom connectors commissioning data bases and directories using the framework GTC - http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10391_01/ doc.910 /e10360/custom_prov.htm #Toc153968045.
  
  I use the initialize() method in the Transport provider to do a few things, notably by establishing a connection to the target system. The sendData() is used to actually update the target.
  
  Unfortunately, whenever a task in the process definition is called, a new instance of the Transport provider is created, which means that will be called the initialize() method. This becomes a problem when you have a large number of users being updated in IOM because for each user will be created and destroyed at least a new connection and creation of new connections is usually an expensive operation.
  
  So I wonder if there is a way to keep a persistent class in the IOM which would take the connection to the target system, so it shouldn't be re-created with each change.

  How the word explanation...

  Suppose you have a database table that contains all phone numbers and addresses of individuals in a State. A query is run to find user445775 in the city named 'Redmond '. Assume that the query looks like this:

  SELECT
    PHONE
  FROM
    PHONE_NUMBERS
  WHERE
    CITY = 'Redmond'
    AND FULL_NAME = 'user445775';
  

  Suppose that there is no index on the table. The DBMS_XPLAN would show two predicates applied during a comprehensive analysis of the filter - this probably indicates an ineffective path, especially if there are a very small percentage of people that match the WHERE clause on the table restrictions.

  Now, suppose that an index is created on the CITY column. The DBMS_XPLAN would show an access descriptor applied to the index on the CITY column and a predicate to filter on the table access by index for the FULL_NAME. We have eliminated a large number of possible lines by applying the predicate of access to directly access the rows with the city of interest and then filtered those names that were not "user445775". It is not terribly effective, especially if there are a large number of people to 'Redmond' which should be filtered.

  Now, suppose that we drop the index on the CITY column and create an index on the FULL_NAME column. The DBMS_XPLAN would show an access descriptor applied to the index on the FULL_NAME column and a predicate to filter on the table access by index for the CITY column. This could be a quite effective plan if there is only a few lines in the table with 'user445775' FULL_NAME, as a few lines will be ignored after access to the index to find those with CITY = 'Redmond '.

  Now, suppose that we drop the index on the FULL_NAME column and create a composite index over the CITY, FULL_NAME. The DBMS_XPLAN would show a predicate of access applied to the index on the columns of the CITY and FULL_NAME and it would not be a predicate to filter on the table access by index - in this case, it will reject all the lines once retrieved by index access.

  Page 211 "Troubleshooting Oracle performance" also shows a clear explanation of the predicates access and filter.

  Think of access predicates (on the index at least) as throwing the lines until they are retrieved from the disk (or memory) and filter predicates such as throwing the lines after they are retrieved from the disk (or memory).

  I have a question of high level on the AIA.
  I understand that a PIP (process integration Pack) is an integration of end to end into the information system from one end to the other. If the names of a pip could be:
  SAP for integration of Ebiz invoice
  Ebiz integration Portal invoice
  Etc.
  I also understand that a BSE (Business Enterprise) is a reusable service that can be invoked by a number of different applicants. For example, InvoiceEBS, etc.
  My understanding is that an EBS can be part of many glitches.
  
  I worked through the update and I got to the point of using the deployment Plan generator to generate a deployment plan. When you run it I came across this message:
  [java] EBS composites should be under $AIA_HOME/pips / < projectCode > or $AIA_HOME/pips / < projectIndustry > / < projectCode > for the seeds of the industry.
  [java] The CBA and the AdapterServices must be under $AIA_HOME/services.
  
  That said, it is expected that the composite EBS under the directory of a PIP in particular. This means that if SAP_to_Ebiz_Invoice_Int and Portal_to_Ebiz_Invoice_Int use the same EBS then composite EBS must be duplicated in the two directories. This is clearly wrong that we would have to keep several copies. (This has implications for maintenance, Version control, etc.)
  
  It is not sensible, so there must be an error in my logic. Does anyone know where I have gone wrong?
  Oracle expects that in a few years when we need to make an update to BSE or other objects in the PIP as go us back and use the same project in PLW or should we create a new project in PLW and add all objects?

  I checked with the genius of the FP and it comes to new behaviors introduced with 11.1.1.4 that I wasn't aware of the institutions. I have recorded a request for internal improvement because I think that it is not ideal for the clients of the FP.

  It seems it must be under $AIA_HOME/pips /, where is the code that you have entered in the PLW and you would also find in the BOM.xml. Have you tried both?

  Just to make sure that I understood: the error means only that RFP generator cannot find the composite and, therefore, can not assing a path to the composite in the DP and you will need to add that manually. Or is the generation of DP even stop alltogether?
