P1C61EA #ABZ: problem Audio (driver?)

Hi, yesterday I updated to W10 anniversary. After that, my PC has a lot of audio problems, include the bass too metallic. So after reading in this forum I've updated the driver (sp74867), but doesn't my audio control (F6 key on the keyboard) and the volume is too low. When I restart my laptop updated driver disappears, with the previous one, with all the problems.

I also tried, without success, the Windows troubleshooting tool, but nothing.

What can I do?

Thanks to advice.

Andrea

Hello

Try download and install the package of audio software on the following link.

    Hello:

The driver that I posted above did not work because it does not support the hardware ID of the audio controller that has your model.

This audio driver for XP 64 bit has the hardware ID of the audio device to your PC.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=409742&swItemId=wk_38225_1&swEnvOid=2002

Run the file and if it becomes automatically the audio to work very well.  Problem solved.

    If it isn't...

Go to Device Manager and click on the multimedia audio controller requiring driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option, then at the bottom of this window, let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

Click on disk, then go to C:\SWSetup\sp30374\smwdmCH6, and then select the device SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio in the list, the driver should install.

Then reboot and I hope the audio we will work.

I am facing problems using Skype video call feature as it also appears with a message "problem with recording devce" or a "problem with the playback device. and secondly, I also used audition Adobe and in that also, I faced the problems with the audio driver.

and every time this problem occurs that the speaker in the lower right corner icon displays a message "the audio service is not running" and solves the problem at the opening of the troubleshooter, but even once, when I use Skype it reappears.

I have this major problem. can someone help me please?

    Hi there @shivam17,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, so many other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff.

I understand that you have a problem with your audio files on your system when using Skype. I'm happy to help you with this.

Having other problems with the sound, or did when you try to use Skype?

Here's something I found regarding this issue of support of Skype Forums:

    Problem with playback device?  -community.skype.com

More down this page is a post which includes the following which I included verbatim. Give it a try.

    1) go to control panel.

    (2) place material and audio.

    3) click on the sound.

    4) click on your speakers by default, then select as "default speakers."

    (5), click Properties.

    (6) to go to the "Advanced" tab

    7) click "Restore Defaults".

Tip: Do not forget to press 'OK '.

You're done with the part of the system!

    (1) now go to Skype.

    2) go to tools > Options.

    3) click Settings Audio.

    4) click on the green button with the arrow. If it works, you are finished. Or, click the menu drop down and select your default speakers. If it still does not work, then read on.

    5) click 'Show Advanced Options '.

    (6) select your speakers by default, and then click on move upward, until it is at the top.

    (7) test your speakers!

Tip: Do not forget to save.

  • Laptop of HP ENVY 15 TS: problems installing the audio driver

    Hi all

My product is the HP ENVY 15 TS laptop.

    Product number: E7Z34UA #ABA

    OS: 8.1 64-bit Windows

A few days ago, I opened my laptop to find that there is no sound coming from the speakers at all. I was completely baffled because the audio was working perfectly fine before, even after the upgrade to Windows 8.1. I tried several solutions posted on other forums, such as install other drivers and uninstall the IDT High Definition Audio Driver and then scan for hardware changes. Now, however, when you try to update the driver IDT, it says that a peripheral attatched to the system does not work. What should I do?

I've provided screenshots of things that appear when trying to solve this problem.

Hello skyeisthelimit. I understand there is no sound emitted by the mobile phone. According to the description, I think that the question is focused on software. However, I won't remove the defective hardware of my mind. You have attempted a few troubleshooting, which is excellent. I'll provide some troubleshooting facilities (some steps you already completed). Please follow troubleshooting all in order, I suggest:

First of all, there are some tutorial of Microsoft Assistant that solves the problems of sound in Windows 8.1. Please follow the wizard until it is finished. You can locate this wizard here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows/no-sound-help#no-sound=windows-8 & v1h = win8tab1 & v2h = win7tab1 & v3h = winvistatab1 & v4h = winxptab1

Then, follow the troubleshooting, indicate in this document from HP: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03257712

    Finally, you will be asked to reinstall the updated drivers. Please install it: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-124012-1 & cc = us & dlc = in & lc = on & os = 4158 & product = 5450018 & sw_lang =

Assuming that the problem is not resolved, the next step is to refresh of Windows 8. This will force the computer to return to Windows 8. It will also clean the computer, to a certain extent (it is not as powerful as a recovery). For more information about how to update Windows, please see this document from Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc

If the operating system update does not resolve the problem, reinstall the operating system is the next step. Make sure that you back up all your data beforehand.

For more information on how to effectively back up your computer, please this document of reference: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us & lc = on & dlc = in & docname = c03270359

For more information about how to perform a system restore, please reference this document: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03489643

Please answer with the results of your troubleshooting. I'm only here to help!

I've just formatted my hard drive and installed Windows XP Pro.

I ve installed all the latest drivers but I m in trouble with one. audio driver for the yamaha ac device.
I get the yellow mark next to him.
So I tried to uninstall, but when I reinstall I cannot start code 10.
It s the latest driver so I put t know what s causing the problem.

Can anyone shed any light on the subject, thanks rob

    Hello

The outcome is known for me.
The audio driver is simply not compatible with Win XP SP2

Yamaha AC - XG driver used the PortCls function to check the version of the operating system. XP Service Pack 1, PortCls function is changed, while the Yamaha rider cannot get operatingsystem version correctly. This problem also happens to Windows XP SP2.

    Yamaha already provides the fixed driver. The fixed driver version is the following;
    yacxg.sys 6.13.10.2152 with software synthesizer
    yacxgc.sys 6.13.10.3152 free software synthesizer

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A100-920 - Audio driver problem - Win XP Pro

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with audio driver. I can't seem to find one that works anywhere, I looked at several forums and the Toshiba site for drivers without success. I basically hit a wall, so I hope someone can provide a working solution. :)

    Audio device:
Feature: 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller
    Manufacturer: Intel

(Information retrieved using a Ubuntu 9.04 Live CD)

Although a windows system it labels as "Realtek High Definition Audio Controller"? (I'm not an expert with the drivers, so maybe this is a stupid question...) :)

The computer is a Toshiba Satellite A100-920 (PSAA9E) Windows XP Professional.

I spent hours trying to solve this problem, so I hope this is the last mile. :) Thanks to anyone with suggestions.

    Best regards

You use Windows XP Home with SP2 or SP3?

  • Envy 17-n108tx: Realtek HD Audio driver problems

17-n108tx want my laptop is preinstalled with Windows 10 and have jumped several hoops for upgrading to Windows 7, I found myself with a minor problem...

When I first start up in Windows 7, I have no sound, and the light on the button mute on my keyboard no longer works.

When I try to 'test' output in the sound properties my device, I get the error "the device is used by another application. (edit: disabling the option "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" does nothing to remedy).

If I disable and re-enable the "Realtek High Definition" Audio device then I suddenly audio again, but the light on the button mute remains broken.

If I choose instead to reinstall the audio driver (sp72117.exe), and then the two audio AND the mute button light work as expected - at least until the next reboot.

I have currently only SP1 is installed from Windows Update. I can go ahead and install all the other minor updates to see if any of them address this problem. During this time, but I would like to know if someone else might have a solution to this inconvenience. Having to reinstall the driver again and again is hardly a solution.

    Thank you

Finished installing any other Windows 7 update that helped my audio to work even after a restart, but the light on the button mute was still broken.

For anyone else who has a similar problem, this is how I fix (unless it breaks again in the next 24 hours):

    1. install SP1 and other updates. If it was not more than 140 of them, I could have tried to determine the exact KB.

2 uninstall the Realtek HD Audio device via Device Manager - do not forget to remove the pilot with him.

    3. Select Action-> Scan for hardware changes, Windows will install a generic audio driver.

    4. make a generic audio driver right click and select "Update driver software", then "Browse my computer for driver software".

5 find your "C:\SWsetup" folder and click Next. Windows should automatically install the appropriate driver files that sp72117.exe left to count.

I suspect that installing the driver manually, as opposed to allowing sp72117.exe to install it because the case. But I do not know for sure until I have reformat again in the distant future. Who knows, maybe I'll give 10 Windows another shot at that time.

  • Audio crash - IDT HD audio driver problem?

Audio crashes when you use it (going to basically just silent), even after the Reinstall driver (IDT HD Audio Driver). When restarting the PC, audio will work temporarily, and then down very quickly if there are several Chrome tablets with audio and also crashed by using only a single media player (Spotify). I have not received the error messages.  When this happens, I am also unable to change the level of average volume point-and-click and keyboard shortcuts.  I use a HP Envy laptop with 64-bit Windows 8.1

Through recommendations in previous posts, I had gone before my assignment. The diagnosis did not find any problems. Headphones also did not work. Volume settings and the speaker are correct. And re - install the driver did not work.

I did, however, decide to download and install certain optional Windows updates.  I use HP Support Assistant for automatic updates, but had not checked the optional updates in a few months (I think there are 4 available).  During these updates and reboot several times, the problem seems to be solved.

Thanks for getting back to me, if!

  • Audio driver with Satellite A200 problems

I installed XP + SP2 on a Satellite A200 successfully. I have downloaded all the drivers from the official site, but even though I installed the drivers for the sound card, the system does not recognize a sound card, no indication of speakers to the taskbar. Also, I installed the driver for the modem, but under the control panel modems, there isn't any modem.

    Hello

I also had this problem on my Satellite A210.
The problem was that I didn t install two important patches from Microsoft. * KB888111 and KB835221 *.

This patch must be installed before installing the audio driver.
If you have already installed the audio driver please remove TI (remove the soundcard from Device Manager).

Then, install the patches mentioned and after reboot short you could follow with Realtek sound driver installation.

This helped me and I'm sure he will also help you 100%.

    Goodbye & good luck

  • Satellite P100 - problem with audio driver on Windows 7 RC

    Hi all

I have an Australian original Satellite P100 P/N PSPA6A-02N021 (T7200 2 GHz, 2 GB DDR-667, nVidia 7900GTX, 1680 x 1050 display) on which I just installed the latest Windows 7 RC (Build 7100 uploaded on 6 May). After doing a clean install on a new brand Western Digital 500 GB drive, I've had trouble with no output its (error code 10) default driver Microsoft HD audo.

Because it is a new installation on a disk HARD costs there is no internet connection to research the latest updates during installation. After completing the installation, the search for an updated driver or windows update cannot locate a better driver.

I updated the BIOS to Phoenix Technologies V4.70 (drawn from the Australian Toshiba site).

I checked the audio driver which worked perfectly under Vista Business 32 running on this same laptop, and it was Conexant HD audio driver v3.18.051 (dated 04/12/2006). I got this driver on the net and installed under Win7 RC. This driver installed and working, but now I only sound from the left speaker which is very (too) low level.

What I want to know is, someone at - it else experienced this and how did you solve this problem, or that you have the same or similar Toshiba laptop and the sound works OK or is there another way to do it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello!

I m asking you want to use an OS that isn't out yet and it s only a Release Candidate...

Have you checked the sound settings on your laptop? Maybe the balance is only on the left speaker.

To be honest, I think you should wait until Windows 7 will be available and you will find more recent drivers for it, they are compatible with Windows 7.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L650D HDMI audio driver problem after upgrade WIN10

After the upgrade to Windows 10 audio HDMI stopped working.
Tried reinstalling the Conexant Audio driver
Any ideas how this problem could be solved?

Recently, I saw something on the CATALYST of the interface driver. There is an option "INSTALL HDMI AUDIO Driver. I was surprised to see this option under Graphic-catalyst-Driver. But it is logical, the HDMI is a video like Audio (AV) connection.

So please try to install the latest driver of your interface.
Maybe it will work for you.

  • Satellite L300 17L - audio driver problems

Audio driver problems, I use Windows XP SP2, I installed the MS patches, but still there is no sound.

And in the control panel in the sound section says that there is no audio driver installed.

    I need help please!

    Hello!

It s a known issue and when you search a bit in the forum you will find a large number of publications on this subject.

Remove the sound card from the Device Manager and the high definition Audio Controller from Device Manager.
And then update Windows with KB835221 & KB888111 patch, reboot several times, and then you can install the driver from Realtek but download and install Realtek driver directly.

    Good bye

  • Driver problem Audio IDT high definition (HD) after windows 8.1 update 1.

Hello. I have HP Probook s 4730. After you install the update to Windows 8.1 1 the audio driver has stopped working properly. When I want to play some music or even video system sounds, noise appears after 1-2 minutes. At that time, disk use is 100% cause of isolation of graph for the device windows audio. I installed this driver Audio IDT high definition (HD) on the support site for the driver of HP, but it does not work. As I see it in the device manager driver release date is 24.10.2012. I think it's too old for Windows 8.1. Can you help me? Y at - it another more recent version of this audio driver? Also I send only two pictures where are drive HARD use and driver release date.

I found a solution to our problem! I installed this driver Windows 7 in compatibility mode. You must remove this one for Windows 8.1 in programs and features, then download this version I have already mentioned, sole extract in a place where you want and install with compatibility mode. To do this, you must enter the configuration properties, then compatibility mode and select Windows 7, also check "Run this program as Administrator". This driver works fine for me. Hope you enjoy it also.
