P2714T small screen to 1080 cannot calibrate

Setting the resolution to 1920 x 1080 on my newly arrived P2714T only fills the screen about the size of a 24 "display. Calibration works in this setting, BUT 24 "is not acceptable.

Change the resolution of 1600 x 900 t fill the screen 27 ", but it fails calibration on the right side of the screen. Without being able to calibrate the whole point of a touchscreen is pretty useless.

He hooked up with an HDMI cable, but did not have the OSD and how he uses by default a VGA cable. (Why the world is a default VGA?) So I connected a VGA cable, and then, of course, had to get my 16 years to understand OSD to move immediately to a HDMI. Now, I see that "Auto-Detect" is only available with a VGA?

Anyway. The monitor is attached via HDMI #1 and USB3 for a HD Radeon 6670 on an ASUS Z87 mb. The Radeon supports all HD formats.

If I put the VGA, run the Auto-Detect and calibrate all using the VGA; and IF it works to fill the screen with 27 "; I'm going to lose all reinstall the HDMI?

Thank you

What happens when you click on it, and have windows search for the driver online?
