P50 boot Workstation Dock problems

I have a P50 with i7-6820, M2000M, 16GB. If I have the laptop docked and boot restart or cold it won't start, fans throw high and the screen remains black. I can turn off or unplug the monitors when it's like this and it's not helping, the caps lock or numlock key won't change, as if its not display at all.

If I anchor when it is in standby, hibernation, or active, it works fine.

The only thing that works is undocking, hold down the power button / stop switch on/off and reconnect.

I have a USB Hub (Dell P2715Q USB Webcam/speakers plugged) and two 4 k monitors. A 4 k monitor is on the view port on the dock and other is on Thunderbolt 3 adapter DP.

Is anyone else having this issue, known or planned to be fixed?

    Thank you all

    Hello
Can you tell us what your problem is? I have seen a lot of technical stuff, but do not clearly understand your problem.
If you are having problems to start Ubuntu in an Efi / UEFI environment I suggest you try copying the file to start the live-media / installation in your startup folder media.
Please note that the suggestion is not detailed must apply little reason.

  • Satellite P50 - C - 17 M - problem with games

I just bought a new Satelitte P50 - C - 17 M with inteL HD integrated graphics cards and also an external of 950M from Nvidia geforce gtx I guess?

I'm really not good at this sort of thing, anyway I chose it cos it was cheap for its specifications and also 8 GB of ram, I thought it would be good for a game until I buy a desktop computer. Ive changed all things need in Nvidia Panel so all my games and applications are using the graphics card from NVIDIA and I've also clocked it form 993 GPU in 1124, which is the highest before he goes to the overclocking I think.

First I tried to play the way of exile and I was happy to see my FPS up to 250-300 fps, but then I kept getting spikes up to 10-20 fps that was not logical. I tried to find a solution online and people were saying that the game has race problem on Win10, but even when I ran it in compatibility with 7 or 8 it continued doing the same drop in FPS.

So last night I tried to play FFXIV and kept the same past.

My constant fps were 59-65, but then I would have up to 10-12 points. I asked my friends and they told me that my laptop probably evolves to the internal graphics card during the game on his own so the FPS will be declining.

Is the any landmark known for the problem :/?

    Thanks in advance.

    In Christmas 2015 buy a laptop Toshiba Satellite P50 - c - 11 k.

It was 2 times by the technical service for various reasons and 2 the main reason was properly fixed (a failure of hard drive and another failure on the LCD)

Recently, I got in touch with the service center for a problem, I think that I started to use the computer. The computer has a large processor and a large graphic and when used separately team offers exceptional performance.

But I have a big problem that makes it impossible to use it normally.
At the point where I use the computer with any of the games I bought legally and cerciorandome that the equipment meets the performance requirements of leftovers too.

Early on the game should be noted that the team starts to heat a lot, after 5 minutes starts to slow down excessively. Monitoring the software using the following can be seen:
-FPS (frames per second) generated by the game remains stable for the first 60 minutes, running with absolute normality
-The temperature of the CPU starts to soar, reaching his limit of 105 ° C 5 minutes
-At this time, the FPS success until 10/11, remaining so until the processor retrieves the temperature of 80 ° C
-FPS return to their normal level of 60 a few minutes more, everything works perfectly during these times.
-At the time where the processor returns to reach 105 10/11 FPS again until that process is repeated constantly.
-This error is played every 2 or 3 minutes of play, indifferently, resolution, quality graphics and everything what you can get for configure options of the games.

Looking for information on different websites on the problem and its solution have found different information that points to a serious problem of computer design.
Because the CPU and GPU share the same broadcaster at a time that the graph starts to render passes to the temperature of the CPU's are not fast enough to cool the coming collapse.

I raised this issue with the service the customer of Toshiba in Spain for a couple of times. The answer is:

«The information I have available, they indicate that the laptop has been tested and left our cumplindo Center repair factory specifications.»
We can do nothing else in your laptop because it meets all our references and diagnostics. "

  • The Boot Camp Assistant problems

I'm trying to install 10 Windows on my MacBook Pro 13.3 2015 "running Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.2) but I can't not (for software that is not supported by Mac OS X). I tried several times but it still says that my disk space is not enough (don't remember the exact words in the error message). I then opened the Boot Camp Assistant in the terminal and saw that it only recognizes that the reader would have 4 GB of free space available (I have a 500 GB SSD and 130 GB is used) but some insane amount about 140000000000000 GB has been used (what?). When I check in disk utility, I get also some suspicions that Boot Camp Assistant selects the Macintosh HD partition, instead the real player. In the Boot Camp Assistant, I can choose the size of the partition (I want let 370 GB for OS X in the Macintosh HD partition and get 128 GB for Boot Camp / partition Windows 10). I can't get this to work and I am grateful for any help!

Windows Installer can generate false messages on a disk space. Do you have any connected external storage when you try to install Windows?

  • Boot PXE T430 problems

First off I would like to list my hardware/software

    MDT/WDS server:

    MDT 2012

    Windows 2008 R2 server

I have a fully working MDT PXE server with a WDS images. Basically, I have a Server TDS who gets the PXE request and then stops on the WDS image to start the imaging process. It works fine on the lenovo thinkcenters ok and I can boot from the CD from the MDT server. But when I boot from the network card I get no response or not DHCP.

-J' downloaded all the drivers for the Thinkpad and they injected into the MDT and WDS for the WINPE image

-J' updated the BIOS to the latest version 2.09

-I can start from the cd very well on my server and pull an ip address

Not sure why this laptop model is a failure on the network boot process... Anyone see the problem?

    Adkyle, my model is:

    Lenovo ThinkPad (2349-KZ4) T430

Last night I let my MDT completely rebuild my boot image rather than update the boot image. Imported image for WDS (PXE) and always start not go.
Now, if I use the CD to boot I can bypass the WDS server and rethink the role of the multidisciplinary team. Forcing the circumvention of the PXE boot. The (already flashed to the lates) BIOS settings do not give many parameters in the network boot box.
Don't know how well I like it, but at least we can boot from the cd of MDT.

  • E280/radio-alarm clock/dock problem FIXED!

(Not that anyone else in the world probably will never have that problem... ;->)

But in case someone ever does it, here is the solution.

    ************************

    Reminder of the problem:

Sansa and Timex clock radio play together well

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&thread.ID=29319&view=by_date_ascending&page=1

OK, I officially * had * it! (e280, clock radio and now dock)

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=E200&message.ID=30169#M30169

    ******************

After communication with Sandisk (they * will keep talking about you, I'll give you em that...!), received suggestiion put in MTP mode and rename the folder 'Rhapsody' folder 'Services', if such were present.  Computer would only remove, so I again asked if the deletion was OK and if having a folder 'Rhapsody', it turns the e280 thought I had or used to have a Rhapsody subscription.  Positive on these two points, so I deleted the folder.  Problem solved.  Fix five minutes, including waiting for the computer to start...

Follows my email to Sandisk.  (It's * my * e-mail, so I figure that I can copy it anywhere I want and he said what I have to say about the problem... ;->))

    *****************

'Rhapsody' folder deleted. Unit works now fine with Sansa docking station and radio alarm clock.

Wish that someone had told me about this simple correction much earlier. (Like $500 earlier!) My husband and I love all the e280s and the docks and wake-scattered, in fact, and I guess we'll get our money out of them before die us, but what I originally wanted was to get the first e280 to work with radio-alarm clock, as it did before the problem started.

I * could * have waited until the initial problem has been fixed (possibly) instead of going on a buying frenzy, but I was afraid that if one) I waited and b) the problem has never been resolved, I would not be able to get another e280/clock radio, since the e200 series had been replaced by a new range of products.

    Suggestions for Sandisk:

Format should mean FORMAT! I don't know if I find more amazing than the left repeated formats this Rhapsody folder in place or that it took so much communication with you all luck to someone who knew that. It's not as if I did not mention Rhapsody first - due to my chance to see only fleeting message when the problem started, it was the * first * possibility I mentioned, I think.

It's also a problem the Amazon, DRM-free tracks somehow did it think that I had an expired subscription to Rhapsody, when I've never been and won't be anywhere * near * Rhapsody! (Especially after this experience!)

It would be nice if everything was at least * visible * in MSC mode - I didn't on this issue because it does not appear in the mode I use! If I * saw * it in MSC mode, I tried the suggested fix original (rename) on mine!

It would also be nice if your future mp3 players were more like the e200 series. I'm not terribly unhappy to have a bunch of e280s (well good, except for the money...), because I think they make your current line look sick.

    IMHO, FWIW... ;->

And thanks to at least talk to me until the issue is resolved (if any) - I'll say that for Sandisk!

You answer to me so that I can mark this FIXED!

  • Latitude E7470 external screens with Dock problems

    Hello

I have a Latitude E7470 for work and when I started to use it with my docking station for external monitors, I was noticed a similar problem as grew up in the thread below. One of my two external monitors would be (seemingly at random) twinkle time or periodically to a point where he was distracted. In addition, I see the graphics card down several times after the publication of this kind of problems.

I implemented the "fix" that has been bound (and marked as the answer to the thread) over lunch a week ago, and more things are unhinged from there. Basically, I'm at this point cannot connect to all external monitors through the docking station. I resorted to having one monitor connected via HDMI, but hardly conducive to the work environment and I would really like my monitor Setup several back (even with the problem of flashing, at least).

Is it possible to undo the actions that I ran, or is there a fix more up-to-date for this problem?

    Link to the "difficulty":

Any response and advice would be greatly appreciated. I really do not have to resort to obtaining a different style docking station (USB 3.0) if I can help.

  • Windows 10 place 8 Pro (5830) Orientation, driver, Boot and camera problems

I've had problems with camera for a while now. When I try to open the camera application, I get a message that the camera is not connected. I tried to solve this problem through different methods, none of which work, and all of a sudden, I start getting a problem of Orientation.

A few days earlier, I tried to start, and the machine would only start in Portrait mode. Tilt, rotation, etc. would not alter orientation. I went into the settings and was able to make the meeting place in the landscape, and he should stay there until the next time I started. It always starts in a Portrait, a direction that I rarely use.

I thought that my problem was perhaps a pilot and I checked the Device Manager. All seemed well. Then, I went to the Dell Support and ran the driver verifier. They told me that I needed to update the Chipset Intel Atom Z3000 Series driver, so I started the download. The download is finished and the machine began to install it. Almost immediately, I got the error that the "Installation failed." I tried again and again, failed.

Then I looked in the Device Manager to see if I could find where this driver fits, thinking that I could remove the driver in the machine and it would be automatically installed. After carefully by the Device Manager, I found the driver.

Either incidentally... at some point earlier today, I might not even the machine to start. It froze on the screen, you get before the login screen. About 15 restart attempts finally worked and the machine will start up again.

I then tried to reset the Tablet and received an other error message that it could not be done.

I'm in a world of pain, here. Any suggestions?

OK, no responses, so here is my solution...

I've broken down and decided to follow the hard way... to the format of the drive, then reinstall Windows 10 and all software. It's a great job. The first thing is to gather all the material needed to make this work.

    Necessary material:

    1. an adapter Dell to allow the power supply and USB connection full size at once. I have a Dell for $20.

    2. a USB Hub with a minimum of 4 entry slots.

    3. USB keyboard

    4. USB mouse

    5 USB Wireless Network adapt

    6 USB Windows 10 32-bit Installer

    7. a lot of Patience.

Connect the USB Hub to the Dell adapter (1) and insert line electric adapter Dell, attach it to the tablet in the mini (or is this microphone?) USB port.

Hold the switch and the Volume until you pass at the same time until the Tablet starts in the BIOS. Change the boot order using the Volume button upwards so that the tablet will boot from USB Windows 10 Setup and follow the instructions.

Once win 10 installed, make sure that you have a wireless connection, and go to the Dell Support to download and install the Driver.Your Chipset coming 8 Pro should now allow touch screen and Orientation. Download and install no matter what other drivers you need and all your software. Set up and you're back in business.

Wow, that took me 6 hours, but all works, now including my camera

  • HP workstation noise problem

My speaker in all my xw4200 workstation HP 3 do not work after re-installation of windows 7.

    Hi ClemenceSKM,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community,

This problem is related to the Sound Drivers, but there is no driver for Windows 7 on HP support site.

Because the drivers are not available with HP, try to download the drivers for Audio ADI 1981 b (there is so much research pilot and tools update available on the net, but it is safe to try it manually)

Try AC 97 driver Vista Realtek:

    http://www.Realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=23&PFID=23&level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

Or find driver ADI 1981 b that support the Vista operating system.

    Kind regards.

    Hello

It is very possible that this is for the reason that you have corrupted files on your system. System File Checker will scan your system for the missing, corrupt or damaged files. In addition, it will try to correct them. If you have changed the important system files, System File Checker will be - make sure you make backups of them!

Eventually, Windows loads at startup animation it would 'safe' return to normal position and expected to start Windows.

    Hello

Maybe it has something to do with laptops HDD?
Maybe the head of HARD drive cannot be moved correctly and the vertical position allows to get the drive moving head again
Unfortunately, I've never seen such strange behavior for laptop and so I can give you a few personal suggestions.
In my view, that the HARD drive should be checked at the first maybe the problem could be solved in replacement of HARD drive

Later I can find is MBP81.0047.2AB since the Mac EFI security update 2015-001. I tried to install this rom to boot, but it will not be installed. The update requires 10.8.5 to 10.9.5 but I'm on El Capitan now. I have to go all downgrade procedure first to be able to update the EFI boot ROM and then move on to El Cap again?

You could create a small partition of 20 GB on your HARD drive, get a copy of the full install on a small partition Mavericks Installer. You should be able to re - download the Mavericks since the purchase of your App Store page assuming you got it from the App Store in the past. If this isn't the case, then you are out of luck, unless you can find help at your local Apple store.
