  In general, I'd say Yes. But this may be wrong in some particular cases like the package using the session variable and get invalid. See the example Re: block of production database becomes invalid

  Hello retabox, welcome.

  It would seem that the installer is corrupted. I recommend trying to use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to force - to remove the application. Try this:
  1. go to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
  2. click on the download link in the middle of the page
  3. save the file to your desktop or just click Run the installation of the application
  4. once the application is installed, open the utility. The utility must be located in the menu START under (START > programs > Windows Installer...)
  5. in the utility, find the application you want to uninstall, and then click the button 'delete' below
  6. once removed, restart the computer and see if you can reinstall the application

• I get 'Invalid key' when you install Windows XP SP3 Home Edition from a CD at retail and used the OEM key

  I restore an HP Pavilion computer and try to install Windows XP Home Edition, with the button on the side of the computer.  I contacted HP and they no longer have an available for this computer recovery CD.  So, I tried to install a copy of Windows XP Edition retail family, but when I enter the OEM product key I get "invalid key".  I read on this forum that you can not mix the OEM disc/keys with detail, but it seems that I don't have to buy another copy of Windows when it came with my computer.  What choices do I have?

  So I don't Support HP and Microsoft no help either.  Activation Center asked me to call the Department of parts (which is incorrect) and the parts Department told me that they cannot provide Windows which was distributed by HP!  Microsoft changed this start with Vista, so I do not understand why they are always telling customers that.

  The code for the printer has a delay of 24 hours, if it has not been put up the time, the code then becomes invalid, as what you see now...

  best solution is to reset Internet services on your printer and then reactivate web services - to the granting of a new code to be printed

  Network problems can prevent the verification of installers downloaded during the installation process.

  1. When this error occurs, leave it on the screen (by clicking on the cancel button will remove the downloaded files).
  2. Navigate to C:\Users\[User name] \App Data\Local and find a folder of application that is installed. For example, if you try to install the creative cloud Packer, look for a folder named "Creative cloud packer."
  3. Copy this folder and paste it in another location or at the same place with a name change.
  4. You can now click on the Cancel button, this will remove the original download.
  5. Open the copy of the folder you just created and run the Setup.exe file to install the application.

  This means that you use the viewer of PDF from Google Chrome, which is not compatible with many PDF features.

  I hit it constantly on two of my stocks when you try to add a disc through the user interface.  It seems to be specific to the pool rather than drive, that I get the same error for any physical drive, I'm trying to reach.

  On a whim, I tried adding a drive via PowerShell and it worked only.  A lot of details here, but here's the bit of criticism that has worked for me:

  PS C:\ > $PDToAdd = disc-Get physical - CanPool $TruePS

  C:\ > add physical disk StoragePoolFriendlyName-'Attachment 2' - PhysicalDisks $PDToAdd

  Note that this attaches to all the available physical disks, which can be grouped, then you'll want to confirm the list before actually calling Add-physical disk.

  When a procedure is changed and therefore newly compiled some views according to are reported as 'invalid '. For this reason the following application generates errors. How could it be created to complie based on all of the objects (e.g. views) when the procedure gets compiled?

  It compiles all invalid objects of a user. After execution, you can repeat the step if the compilation of an object struck again a few other objects - select till does not any new release.

  In order to better focus on what could be happening I have a few questions for you. If I understand "MyInstr.dll" is the one that you created in the CVI. Is this correct?  First of all, exactly how was created dll and update? In addition, what is the method signature, parameters, return value, etc.. ? Finally, how are you trying to use in LabVIEW? It's a knot to call a library function?

• Why do I get: "invalid activation code?" with CS6 on a MacBook Pro?

  I tried to install CS6 on a new MacBook Pro (I have a valid license, which can be found on my account of the adobe.com site).  I get a message of activation code not valid no matter what I try.  Here's what I've done so far which did not work:

  1. uninstalled and reinstalled the software

  2 disabled CS6 on an old laptop running the software

  3 tried installation in trial mode and then tried to activate (as well as a right with a code installation)

  4. establish a new user and I tried to install under the new user

  5. basically, I tried what I saw as a possible solution when reading the forums on this topic

  6 serial number entered has been checked and re-checked several times - it is my account of the adobe.com site

  7A a chat session back a little with a representative of adobe, but that case has been closed without solving the problem and I can not reopen - and I can't enter "chat."

  I talked to the following forum documents when you try the above: "invalid serial number error" and "error:"serial number is not valid for this product "|" Creative Suite. »

  I'm currently under OS El Capitan or 10.11.2 on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2015, retina).  Date and time are correct.  English has been used systematically.

  After trying your suggestions without success, I was able to do a chat session with Adobe today.  I figured out that I had 2 accounts Adobe with 2 email addresses.  The serial number that I used was for CS3 (I upgraded to CS6 in CS3).  When I finally came on the second adobe account, I discovered the CS6 serial number and installation ended safely.

  What a headache!  I think I have to tattoo the serial numbers on my forehead :)
