HP Pavilion g6-2293sx: CD 64-bit of Windows 8

Hello

I bought the HP Pavilion g6-2293sx in May2013. It was delivered with 8 64-bit Windows. After an upgrade, I was unable to see the battery status in the status bar.

It was really frustrating, that we live are where a power occur frequent breakdowns - nearly 4 to 6 hours per day. So we need knowledge of the status of the battery in order to avoid a sudden stop of notebook.

in any case, I had Windows 7 and during this process, I formatted the hard drive so there now, no. recovery Partition.

How can I go back to my Original Windows 8 (64 bit)? Where can I download Windows true OS for my product?

Sorry, but HP doesn't provide downloads of the partition HP Recovery or the image of HP recovery due to licensing restrictions.  Please use the support of HP recovery, you created when you first set up your computer, return the computer to a factory State. If you create your HP recovery media, please contact the official support HP customer in your area / country, via the Portal Support HP's worldwide, to see if the HP recovery support is available for your computer. Software may not be covered by warranty, and there may be fees for the HP recovery media.

Alternatively, you can try this download of Windows 8 OEM; http://www.Google.com/URL?SA=t & rct = j & q = en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440.iso & source = web & cd = 1 & cad = AJLN sqi = 2...

It is a unofficial "official licensed copy of Windows 8 OEM." Download this file (you may have to try several times or several times successfully download this file) and burn the ISO image to a DVD. Set the BIOS to use UEFI, enable 'Secure Boot' and disable 'Legacy Support... If these options are present. Boot from that disk and install Windows 8. It should register as an official copy and use the key embedded in the BIOS. Please note that any customizations HP or HP value-added is installed using this method.

Those were nice computers laptops in the day but now completely obsolete. Use the Pentium M (Centrino) unique 32-bit processors and memory DDR 1 which tops out at 2 GB. You could do a minimum competence for browsing the Web and word processing, but it is really made for Windows XP, Vista not even without talking about Windows 7-10. It is not capable of running the 64-bit software.

    Hello

Assuming that the hard drive has a style of mbr, system partition contains startup files and the Windows recovery environment and it is quite normal to show him the fragmentation - that partition should not be défragmentée, because it can cause problems with the loading of Windows.

    You are the very welcome.

  • HP Pavilion 15-f097nr: drivers HP 15-f097nr Windows 7 64-bit

I bought this HP 15-f097nr and he had installed Windows 8.1. I hate Windows 8, 8.1, 10. I was really disappointed when I looked on Support of Web of Hewlett Packard, and there no 64-bit of Windows 7 drivers, or all the Windows 7 drivers. Of course, I already had nuked the partitions Windows 8.1, installed Windows 7 64 bit Pro on the laptop and had no Wi - Fi, LAN, audio device, USB port or chipset drivers. I've done business with Hewlett Packard for many years, I've lost count. One of the main things I always liked HP, has been their support for their products. With 65% of these people still using Windows 7, I struggle to understand why HP does not support Windows 7 with this product. Could someone please help?

    You are the very welcome.

I guess that the model I posted has older than your hardware.  It may have the same processor, but the G2 250 pilots probably did not contain the material ID's for the same update your hardware.

Then... you're missing even the Intel graphics driver and Realtek ethernet driver?

If so, see if these work instead...

Graphics: Do not click on the most recent version of this driver is available, because it does not support the processor celeron laptop has.

  • Drivers for HP Pavilion DV7 2111tx on 64-bit Windows 8

After that the things of upgrade (custom installation from 32 to 64 bits) of Windows 8 as the built in media controls did not work properly. So, I visited the drivers HP page and ran the scan... then chose Windows 7 64-bit (not Windows 8 it).

The list shows drivers that I need to re - install?

If not, is it possible to install all of them?

If so, can I install them in any order?

    These are later?

    Thank you!!

    Hi tourns.

More than likely HP won't to material support for W8 on any system purchased before October 1, 2011. Some updates for W8, most drivers W7 will work in W8.
If you've always had Windows 7 installed, you can run the Upgrade Wizard software, it will scan your PC and report on what is currently installed on your PC is compatible with the W8.

  • Pavilion DV6-3240Br: 4313 Broadcom driver for windows 10

    Hello

I have an old Pavilion DV6 3240Br and just upgraded to windows 10. Unfortunately, I can't find a driver for my system. HP said that it will not develop specific drivers for my device. It uses a broadcom 4313gn 802.11b/g/n wireless card. There is a driver (maybe another portable model) that works with this broadcom card in 10 x 64 windows?

    Best regards

    Paulo

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer is to try the latest Broadcom driver published for this model of wlan for W8 map...

    6.30.223.227 Rev.A (November 12, 2014)

    Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

    Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Broadcom wireless LAN drivers are required to activate the built-in Broadcom wireless LAN adapter.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp69501-70000/sp69737.exe

Try to install the driver manually if auto installation does not work.

  • Firefox 64-bit for Windows

Y at - it no hope to get Firefox 64-bit for windows soon?
My problem is Firefox + JDK/netbeans-bundle on 64-bit Windows 8.
Everything else can be 64-bit, but Firefox. If Firefox wants JRE 32 bit for normal navigation, but 64-bit JDK installation replaces it with 64 bit that does not work on Firefox.

Installation of JDK/NB-bundle 32 bit on 64 bit Win8.1 crashes.

So it's a JDK/NB or Java compatible Firefox, but not both?
Or y at - it a simple way to tell Firefox to look at another directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_20) when the other SW is looking in the default directory (C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_20)?)

I know that the problem has three parts: Microsoft, Oracle and Mozilla, but Mozilla seems to be one with no option (64-bit) "in progress."

SuperSluethe, please do not suggest that the web site because it links just a random accumulation of 35.0a1 of the channel of Nightly development without any warning. This channel is a bleeding edge and gets check-ins almost everyday as well so that they get an update of each of these days.

As for 64-bit Linux, they can get those clean https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
