  Please go into Photoshop preferences and then go to the tab Type.

  In it please change the text engine to Asia to the Middle East.

  Restart Photoshop and then see if it works.

  Your objects are grouped. This should not be the case with the text. You must also remove the wrapping of the text itself (the lines around the text is the scarf).

  Apply it only to the circle.

  Depending on the size of your image, 12 pt is too small to appear.  Have you tried a larger font?  Also you did not show the character Panel in your video.  That has a lot of useful information.
